Condolences over Death of Moon Sun Myung
State
officials and officials of friendly parties, religious organizations
and relevant bodies visited the World Peace Center to express
condolences over the death of Moon Sun Myung, president of the World
Peace Federation.
Hanging on the wall of the mourning place was a portrait of the late Moon.
Seen standing there was a wreath sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.
Also
placed there were wreaths in the name of the Central Committee of the
Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea, the Secretariat of the
Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the C.C., the Korean
Social Democratic Party, the C.C., the Chondoist Chongu Party, the Korea
Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, the National Reconciliation Council,
religious organizations and relevant bodies.
Among
the mourners were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of
the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Yong Dae, chairman of the C.C.,
the Korean Social Democratic Party, and officials of friendly parties,
religious organizations and relevant organs.
Present
there from the south side were Moon Hyung Jin, who is a member of the
bereaved family, a person concerned of the funeral committee and
bereaved family members.
They
observed a moment's silence in memory of Moon who made efforts for the
nation's reconciliation and unity, the country's reunification and world
peace.
