Begegnung getrennter Familien und Verwandter aus dem Norden und dem Süden

Die jüngste Begegnung getrennter Familien und Verwandter aus dem Norden und dem Süden fand vom 20. bis 26. Oktober im Kumgang-Resort (Norden) statt.
Die Begegnung wurde während des hochrangigen Nord-Süd-Dringlichkeitskontakts in Panmunjom im August vereinbart.
Die im Norden lebenden Familienmitglieder und Verwandten erzählten ihren aus dem Süden zu Besuch gekommenen Angehörigen vom glücklichen Leben in der sozialistischen Gesellschaft.
Die Familien und Verwandten feierten ein bewegtes Wiedersehen, umarmten sich, weinten vor Freude, machten Fotos, assen zusammen und verbrachten frohe Stunden.
Das Zentralkomitee der Rot-Kreuz-Gesellschaft der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) gab am 24. Oktober einen Empfang für die Familien und Verwandten aus dem Norden und dem Süden.
Diese Begegnungen sind das Resultat der aufrichtigen und positiven Schritte der DVRK für die innerkoreanische Entspannung und die nationale Wiedervereinigung.

16. November: Tag der Mütter in der DVRK

In der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) wird der 16. November als der Tag der Mütter gefeiert.
An diesem Tag danken die Kinder ihren Müttern für die Liebe, die diese ihnen entgegenbringen, wie auch für die Arbeit und Mühe, mit denen die Mütter ihre Söhne und Töchter grossgezogen haben.
Der Tag der Mütter wird an diesem Datum gefeiert, um an die berühmte Rede des Präsidenten Kim Il Sung am Republiktreffen der Mütter am 16. November Juche 50 (1961) zu erinnern. In seiner Rede Die Aufgaben der Mütter bei der Kindererziehung lobte er den Patriotismus der koreanischen Mütter. Er ehrte die anwesende Mutter des revolutionären Märtyrers Ma Tong Hi, der sein Leben im bewaffneten antijapanischen Befreiungskampf für die Freiheit des Vaterlandes hingegeben hatte. Präsident Kim Il Sung sagte:

Die Mutter des Genossen Ma Tong Hi liebte ihren Sohn, aber sie liebte ihn durchaus nicht egoistisch.  ........ Diese Mutter schätzte das Heimatland, das Volk und die Revolution höher als das Leben ihres eigenen Sohnes. Wenn alle Mütter ebenso wie diese Genossin ihre Kinder auf revolutionäre Weise erziehen, dann werden alle Kinder zu vortrefflichen Kommunisten heranwachsen.

Die koreanischen Mütter lieben die Heimat und ihre Kinder. Sie sind bereit, ihre Kinder auch der Verteidigung des Vaterlandes und der Heimat zu opfern, wenn die Situation dies verlangt. Das ist beispiellos auf der Welt.
Am heutigen Tag der Mütter besuchten die Frauen mit ihren Familien die Statuen des Präsidenten Kim Il Sung und des Führers Kim Jong Il wie auch der antijapanischen Heldin Kim Jong Suk und legten Blumen vor ihnen nieder.
Ueberall war auch das Lied Meine Mutter zu hören, das der junge Kim Jong Il über seine Mutter Kim Jong Suk nach deren Ableben komponiert hatte, um ihre selbstlose Hingabe für die Befreiung der Heimat zu preisen.
Als Zeichen der Wertschätzung und des Dankes für die Mütter sandte die Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) verdienten Müttern, darunter Krankenschwestern, Lehrerinnen und Angestellten, Chima und Jogori (traditionelle koreanische Frauentracht).
Ueberall fanden fröhliche kulturelle und sportliche Aktivitäten zur Feier des Tages der Mütter statt.
