Die von der britischen Regierung verhängten Sanktionen gegen das Internationale Kinderlager Songdowon bei Wonsan am Koreanischen Ostmeer sind illegal und kriminell und sorgen weltweit für Unverständnis und Empörung.
Die grundlose Behauptung des britischen NATO-Regimes, Russland habe "zwangsweise" ukrainische Kinder ins Kinderlager geschickt und diese "militarisiert", ist eine infame Lüge und Verleumdung. Die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) hat durch ihren Aussenministeriumssprecher diese üble Verleumdung zurückgewiesen.
Diese Sanktionen zeigen, dass der britische Imperialismus ein unterwürfiger Vasall und Spiessgeselle des USA-Imperialismus ist.
Grossbritannien ist ungeachtet der diplomatischen Beziehungen ein Erzfeind der DVRK.
Der berüchtigte britische Propagandasender BBC hat eine lange Tradition der Hetze gegen das sozialistische Korea wie auch gegen China und Russland.
Die britischen Imperialisten haben sich 1950-1953 an vorderster Front am völkermörderischen Aggressionskrieg des USA-Imperialismus gegen die DVRK und das koreanische Volk - am Korea-Krieg - beteiligt.
Das britische Kolonialreich hat Millionen von Menschen in Asien und Afrika ermordet.
Der britische Imperialismus hat sich im 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert an der neokolonialistischen Aufteilung und Ausplünderung Chinas beteiligt und den Opiumkrieg gegen das chinesische Volk geführt.
Die Verbrechen des britischen Imperialismus an den Völkern Asiens hat eine lange Blutspur.
Unsere Organisationen als Freunde Koreas werden allfällige Protestkampagnen der internationalen Korea-Freundschafts- und -Solidaritätsbewegung gegen die illegalen und kriminellen Anti-DVRK-Sanktionen Londons unterstützen.
Wir schliessen uns dem Protest der Korean Friendship Association (KFA) UK gegen die Sanktionen an.
Die Freunde Koreas in Grossbritannien und die fortschrittlichen Kräfte im britischen Volk sind ebenfalls empört über die unverschämten Sanktionen "ihrer" Regierung.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Convenes Meeting of Commanding Officers of Divisions and Brigades of Entire Army and Meets Them
Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, convened a meeting of the commanding officers of the divisions and brigades of the entire army on May 17 and met them.
Present there were Ri Yong Gil, chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, and Pak Jong Chon, advisor to the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.
The commanding officers were filled with great excitement as they were to meet the Supreme Commander at the sacred headquarters building of the Party Central Committee which the KPA service personnel have always cherished in their minds at every post in the sky, ground and sea of the country.
When Comrade Kim Jong Un appeared, the commanding officers broke into stormy cheers of "Hurrah!", looking up to the outstanding leader of the revolution who is dynamically guiding the inexhaustible development of our army to glory and victory with his distinguished commanding philosophy and art.
Highly appreciating the extraordinary services of the commanding officers who are leading the combined units while devoting their sincere efforts to the country and the people, he warmly encouraged them.
He met the commanding officers of the combined units at all levels of the entire army and had a talk with them on a series of important military issues.
Stressing that the tasks of the commanders of the combined units are very important, he said that the historic assignment to develop our army into the strongest one in the world is entrusted to the commanders of the divisions and brigades. And he referred to the main orientation arising in carrying out the military and political tasks at present.
Reiterating that the training for perfecting the combat preparedness is the main task of the army, he advanced a policy for readjusting the training system and intensifying the practical training in keeping with the changing aspects of modern warfare and the trend of the development of our army.
Noting that a structural measure for updating our army in a military organizational and military technical way is to be taken in the future, he stressed that the responsibility and role of the commanding officers are very important in correctly implementing it.
He said that planned projects, too, should be stepped up to newly define the concept of operations in all spheres in keeping with the rapid modernization of the military and technical equipment of our army and apply it to the combat training of the units.
Mentioning the Party's policy of territorial defence on strengthening the first-line units in the southern border and turning the border line into an impregnable fortress, he expressed a plan for remodeling the military organizational structure and strengthening the first-line units and other major units in military and technical aspects as an important decision to more thoroughly deter war.
Briefing on a prospect of modernization of the KPA and progress made in developing the military and technical equipment, Comrade Kim Jong Un said that we are building a powerful army and affirmed that as already clarified, if the tasks for the period of the Five-Year Plan are carried out, preparedness of the KPA's strategic action will be renewed beyond comparison with the present and a great change will be made in an aspect of deterring war.
He stressed that the commanding officers of the entire army and all levels should continue to raise their class consciousness, outlook on the arch enemy, and remain faithful to their sacred duty of defending the sovereignty while always keeping highly alert.
Saying that the KPA should defend the country with its ideology and faith than physical strength and that the ideology and faith are the unique secret of the combat capability of our army which can exceed the limit of physical strength, he added that the KPA should continue to carry forward its tradition of overwhelming the enemy with ideology and faith by steadily waging the ideological revolution with firm belief in its cause and that only then can the KPA reliably maintain its honor and position as the strongest army in the world.
Our Party and people's expectation in the KPA commanding officers is very high, he said, expressing belief that the KPA commanding officers would remain faithful to their sacred duty, bearing deep in mind the heavy responsibility for their mission, no matter who may know it or not.
That day, Comrade Kim Jong Un had a photo session with the commanders of the combined units of the entire army in the yard of the Party Central Committee.
The commanders of the KPA combined units at all levels, who were honored to meet the great brilliant commander and receive the great trust from him, vowed to cherish the important teachings of the Supreme Commander as the coordinates of struggle and boundlessly remain faithful to the important mission and duty they assumed before the Party and the revolution and thus fully demonstrate the honor of the KPA commanding officer in the most glorious and strongest era led by him.
Jo Yong Won Meets Special Envoy of General Secretary of C.C., CPV
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, met Le Hoai Trung, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and foreign minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on a visit to the DPRK as a special envoy of the general secretary of the CPV Central Committee who is president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at the Pyongyang Assembly Hall on Friday.
Jo Yong Won had a talk with Le Hoai Trung in a friendly atmosphere.
Present there were Pak Sang Gil, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, and officials concerned, the special envoy's party and Le Ba Vinh, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.
DPRK Players Win Seven Gold Medals in 2026 Asian Weightlifting Championships
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- DPRK players are achieving good results in the 2026 Asian Weightlifting Championships every day.
They won seven gold medals and set new world and Asian records on Thursday.
In the women's 63kg category, Ri Suk won gold medals in clean and jerk and total and a silver medal in snatch by lifting 111kg in snatch, 143kg in clean and jerk (new world record, new Asian record) and 254kg in total (new world record, new Asian record).
In the men's 71kg category, Ri Won Ju placed first in clean and jerk and total and second in snatch by lifting 154kg in snatch, 197kg in clean and jerk (new world record, new Asian record) and 351kg in total (new world record, new Asian record).
In the men's 79kg category, Ri Ryong Hyon bagged gold medals by lifting 206kg in clean and jerk (new world record, new Asian record) and 364kg in total and a silver medal in snatch. Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), berief am 17. Mai ein Treffen kommandierender Offiziere von Divisionen und Brigaden der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) ein.
Daran teil nahmen Ri Yong Gil, Generalstabschef der KVA, und Pak Jong Chon, Berater des Ministeriums der Nationalen Verteidigung der DVRK.
Marschall KIM JONG UN beriet mit den Offizieren über eine Reihe wichtiger militärischer Fragen.
Er sagte, dass die Divisions- und Brigadekommandeure mit der Aufgabe betraut seien, die KVA zur stärksten Armee der Welt aufzubauen.
Die Perfektionierung der Kampfbereitschaft sei die Hauptaufgabe der Armee.
Die militärische und technische Ausrüstung der Armee müsse rapide modernisiert werden.
Marschall KIM JONG UN hob die Wichtigkeit der vorderen Einheiten entlang der südlichen Grenze der DVRK hervor. Die Grenzlinie müsse zur uneinnehmbaren Festung ausgebaut werden. Der Zweck sei die Abschreckumg zur Verhinderung eines Krieges.
Die kommandierenden Offiziere müssten ihr Klassenbewusstsein erhöhen und dem Erzfeind klar machen, dass die KVA ihre geheiligte Mission der Verteidigung der Souveränität in höchster Wachsamkeit erfülle.
Marschall KIM JONG UN hob die zentrale Bedeutung der Ideologie bei der Verteidigung hervor. Nur wenn die KVA ihre Tradition fortsetze, mit ihrer Ideologie den Feind zu überwältigen, und ihre ideologische Revolution verstärke, könne sie ihre Ehre und Position als stärkste Armee der Welt bekräftigen.
Die Erwartungen der Partei und des Volkes in die kommandierenden Offiziere der KVA seien sehr hoch.
Marschall KIM JONG UN rief sie dazu auf, ihrer heiligen Pflicht gerecht zu bleiben und der hohen Verantwortung bewusst zu sein.
Die Kommandeure der kombinierten Einheiten der KVA, die die Ehre hatten, den hochverehrten Oberbefehlshaber KIM JONG UN zu treffen und sein Vertrauen zu haben, schworen ihm, seine wichtigen Belehrungen immer zu beachten und ihre Pflicht gegenüber der Partei und der Revolution zu erfüllen.
Auch wir als Freunde Koreas und Anhänger der Juche-Ideologie sehen es als wichtig an, dass das sozialistische Korea mit einer ideologisch gestählten Armee die Nation zuverlässig schützt und die Feinde mittels Abschreckung in die Schranken weist.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Participants in Ninth GFTUK Congress
Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had a photo session with the participants in the Ninth Congress of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea on May 14.
The venue of the photo session was filled with great excitement and joy of the participants who took part in the significant congress held amid the great interest of the working people across the country out in the struggle for a new stage of transformation in socialist construction and had the highest honor and happiness they wished for even in their dreams.
When Comrade Kim Jong Un arrived at the venue, a stormy cheers of "Hurrah!" burst out.
All the participants paid the highest tribute to him, who respectfully put forward our working class and trade union members as the core unit of the revolution and self-reliant vanguard and bestowed deep trust and love on them so that they could demonstrate the proud honor of the socialist patriotic workers in the van of the struggle for national prosperity.
Comrade Kim Jong Un met and congratulated the newly elected chairman and vice-chairmen of the 9th Central Committee of the GFTUK. And he appreciated the efforts of the meritorious trade union officials and members.
Acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers of the participants, he encouraged them who glorified the Ninth Congress of the GFTUK as a significant occasion for demonstrating cohesion and revolutionary disposition of our working class and trade union members rallied close around the Party and accelerating the all-people advance for implementing the Party's decisions.
He said that in the last five years after the Eighth Congress of the GFTUK, our working people fully demonstrated their intense loyalty to the Party, patriotic consciousness and inexhaustible creativity. He highly appreciated that the outstanding feats of the working class, who broke precedents, went beyond limitations and proved that anything is possible to push ahead with the overall socialist construction, and the role of the GFTUK in mobilizing the ideological power served as a great strength for the Party which ushered in the great pioneering period of the comprehensive rejuvenation.
He stressed that there is no such group in the world as the reliable and loyal working class as they firmly defend the cause of the Party, being a fortress of unshakable faith no matter how frequently the times are changed and a generation is replaced by a new one. He added that the Party Central Committee is vigorously waging the struggle of new-stage transformation for the eye-opening development of the state, believing in the strong revolutionary disposition and patriotic loyalty of all the working people including the heroic workers.
The period of gigantic transformation facing us requires the constant active vanguard role of the working class, the main force of creation and construction, and their extraordinary efforts, he said, stressing that it is the basic task facing the working class and trade union members at the present stage of socialist construction to give fuller play to the fighting spirit of self-reliance and self-sufficiency in all spheres of ideology, technology and culture with absolute confidence in the Party's lines and policies.
Noting that all the workers and trade union members should play a vanguard role for the change of times and dynamically lead the whole country to attain the new five-year goal under the uplifted banner of the three revolutions, he emphasized that it is important for the GFTUK to fulfill its mission and duty as an organization for ideological education in firmly preparing them as a revolutionized and patriotic core force for national development and powerful vanguard for carrying out the three revolutions.
He expressed expectation and belief that all the participants in the congress would become standard-bearers and core elements leading the rapid development of all sectors and units in the worthwhile struggle to build a powerful and prosperous country through more fierce, innovative and determined struggle, and had a meaningful photo session with them.
When the photo session was over, the participants broke into enthusiastic and thunderous cheers, representing the faith and pledge of the working class and trade union members to remain boundlessly loyal to the leadership of the Party.
All the participants made a firm determination to fully demonstrate the self-respect, pluck, resourcefulness and courage of the heroic DPRK working class, socialist workers, and more vigorously struggle for the prosperity of our glorious country and the promotion of the wellbeing of our people, bearing in mind the great trust shown by Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Answer Given by DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on May 15 as regards the fact that Britain committed an extremely provocative act of putting the Songdowon International Children's Camp into the recently-issued list of sanctions against Russia:
On May 11, the British Foreign Office included our Songdowon International Children's Camp in the list of sanctions, while announcing "sanctions measures" against Russia's "organizational activities" to "forcibly transfer" and "militarize" Ukrainian children.
Britain's such reckless act is a heinous unethical politically-motivated provocation to tarnish the external image of our state and disparage the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship and cooperation by unreasonably linking our children's camping facility with the groundless issue of "forcible migration" of Ukrainian children.
We strongly denounce and reject the malicious act of the British government which targets even the camp, a sacred base for education and growth of children, for achieving its purpose of political machination.
So far, Britain has followed zealously the U.S. acts of hostility toward the DPRK, taken issue in every way with the exercise of sovereign rights of our state and participated in the war drills against the DPRK at any time, thus systematically aggravating the bilateral relations.
The British government's recent designation of the Songdowon International Children's Camp as a target of "sanctions" as part of its conspiratorial moves to demonize Russia is an intolerable insult to our dignified state and proves that its hostility toward the DPRK is exceeding the limits.
Now that Britain has committed such reckless acts as toying with even the rights and interests of the children that our state values the most, we have the adequate rights to counter London's malicious behavior.
The British government will be wholly responsible for all the consequences to be entailed from its grave hostile act toward our state.
Secretary and Director of International Department of C.C.,WPK Meets Special Envoy of General Secretary of C.C., CPV and President of SRV
Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Song Nam, member of the Political Bureau, secretary and director of the International Department of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, met Le Hoai Trung, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Communist Party of Vietnam and foreign minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on a visit to the DPRK as a special envoy of the general secretary of the CPV Central Committee who is president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at the Pyongyang Assembly Hall on May 13.
Kim Song Nam said that the WPK would further boost exchange and cooperation with the CPV as the DPRK-Vietnam friendly relations have been put on a new level with the historic Pyongyang meeting of Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade To Lam in October last year as an occasion.
Le Hoai Trung informed him of the successful 14th Congress of the CPV and expressed the steadfast stand of the CPV to develop the friendly relations between Vietnam and the DPRK which have been firmly consolidated on the road of advancing the socialist cause.
Both sides discussed the issue of strengthening the political ties between the WPK and the CPV and other topics of common concern and reached a consensus of views on them.
Present there from the DPRK side were Vice Department Director Mun Song Hyok and other officials of the International Department of the WPK Central Committee and from the Vietnamese side the special envoy's party and Le Ba Vinh, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.
Talks Held between Foreign Ministers of DPRK and Vietnam
Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had talks with Le Hoai Trung, foreign minister of Vietnam on a visit to the DPRK as a special envoy of the general secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of Vietnam who is president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at the Pyongyang Assembly Hall on May 13.
Choe Son Hui expressed the stand of the DPRK government to develop the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Vietnam in conformity with the aspirations and desire of the two peoples on the basis of the spirit of the agreement made between the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries at the historic Pyongyang meeting in October 2025.
Le Hoai Trung said that To Lam, general secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of Vietnam and president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Vietnamese party, state and people are always paying deep attention to consistently giving importance to and strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK, wishing the Korean people bigger success in their struggle to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
At the talks both sides agreed to further deepen exchange and cooperation between the two countries in various fields and strengthen strategic communication and support and collaboration between foreign policy organs. And they exchanged views on regional and international issues.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Vice-Minister Pak Sang Gil and other officials of the Foreign Ministry and from the Vietnamese side the special envoy's party and Le Ba Vinh, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.
The Foreign Ministry of the DPRK gave a reception in welcome of the special envoy that evening.

Ein Sprecher des Aussenministeriums der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) beantwortete heute eine Frage der nationalen Nachrichtenagentur KCNA (www.kcna.kp) betreffend die Sanktionen Grossbritanniens gegen das Internationale Kinderlager Songdowon bei Wonsan an der Küste des Koreanischen Ostmeers.
Wie der Sprecher mitteilte, hat das britische Aussenamt das Kinderlager in die Liste der Sanktionen gegen Russland aufgenommen, mit der verleumderischen Behauptung, Russland habe "zwangsweise" ukrainische Kinder in das Kinderlager geschickt und diese "militarisiert".
Das sei eine üble politische Provokation zur Dämonisierung der Freundschaft und Kooperation DVRK-Russland.
Grossbritannien folge blind der feindlichen
Anti-DVRK-
Grossbritannien verletze damit auch die Interessen der Kinder im Internationalen Kinderlager Songdowon.
Auch wir protestieren mit äusserster Empörung, mit Wut und Zorn gegen die ungeheuerlichen Verleumdungen des reaktionären britischen NATO-Regimes gegen die DVRK und Russland.
Die Wahrheit ist: Kein einziges Kind verbringt seine Ferien im Kinderlager gegen seinen Willen.
Im Internationalen Kinderlager Songdowon, das 1960 gegründet wurde, verbringen jährlich viele Kinder aus Russland, China, Thailand, der Mongolei, Mexiko und weiteren Ländern zusammen mit koreanischen Kindern unbeschwerte und fröhliche Ferientage und Badespass.
Auch Schweizer Kinder waren schon dort.
Es sei an die Tatsache erinnert, dass die DVRK nach der Reaktorkatastrophe von Tschernobil (damalige Ukrainische Sozialistische Sowjetrepublik) im Jahre 1986 vielen ukrainischen Kindern schöne Ferien im Internationalen Kinderlager Songdowon geschenkt hat.
Die unverschämten Behauptungen der britischen Regierung, Russland sende "entführte ukrainische Kinder" ins Kinderlager in der DVRK, ist eine schamlose, infame und üble Lüge und Verleumdung.

Kim Song Nam, Mitglied des Politbüros und Sekretär und Direktor des Internationalen Departements des Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK), traf am 13. Mai mit Le Hoai Trung, Mitglied des Politbüros des Zentralkomitees der Kommunistischen Partei Vietnams (KPV), Aussenminister der Sozialistischen Republik Vietnam und Sondergesandten des vietnamesischen Präsidenten, zusammen.
Der vietnamesische Aussenminister hält sich zu einem Besuch in Pyongyang auf.
Kim Song Nam sagte, dass die PdAK ihre Kooperation mit der KPV ausbauen werde, nachdem die Freundschaft zwischen der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) und der SR Vietnam nach dem historischen Pyongyanger Gipfeltreffen zwischen dem Generalsekretär KIM JONG UN und Generalsekretär To Lam im Oktober 2025 auf ein höheres Niveau gehoben worden war.
Le Hoai Trung informierte seinen Gastgeber über den erfolgreichen 14. Parteitag der KPV und bekundete seinerseits den Willen, die freundschaftlichen Beziehungen Vietnam-DVRK weiter ausbauen und festigen zu wollen.
Die Aussenministerin der DVRK, Choe Son Hui, traf am gleichen Tag zu Gesprächen mit ihrem vietnamesischen Amtskollegen Le Hoai Trung zusammen.
Choe Son Hui bekundete den festen Willen der Regierung der DVRK, die traditionelle Freundschaft und Kooperation DVRK-Vietnam getreu dem Wunsch beider Völker weiter zu stärken.
Le Hoai Trung bekräftigte seinerseits den festen Willen der KPV und der Regierung der SR Vietnam, die Freundschaft und Kooperation mit der DVRK zu festigen, und wünschte dem koreanischen Volk Erfolg bei der Umsetzung der Beschlüsse des 9. Parteitags der PdAK unter der Führung des hochverehrten Generalsekretärs KIM JONG UN.
Wir sind sehr erfreut über die solide Weiterentwicklung und Festigung der traditionellen Freundschaft, Solidarität und Kooperation der beiden sozialistischen Staaten.

Die Nachrichtenagentur KCNA (www.kcna.kp) der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) erinnert heute in ihrer Artikelreihe Verbrechen Japans, des geschworenen Feindes der koreanischen Nation daran, dass die japanischen Imperialisten während ihrer barbarischen und grausamen Kolonialherrschaft über Korea (1910-1945) alles daransetzten, die koreanische Sprache auszulöschen und zu vernichten.
Sie verbreiteten die absurde Theorie, dass "die Japaner und die Koreaner gleicher Herkunft" und dass "Japan und Korea eine einzige Gemeinschaft" seien.
Die japanischen Okkupanten erklärten die japanische Sprache unverfroren als die "Muttersprache" der Koreaner.
Im November 1912 publizierte das japanische Generalgouvernement in Korea einen "Bericht über Trainingskurse in der Muttersprache (japanische Sprache)" und liess von da an alle Dokumente ausschliesslich in Japanisch verfassen.
Mit ihrer "Verordnung über Erziehung in Korea" schufen die japanischen Imperialisten ein weiteres Terrorinstrument zur Ausrottung der koreanischen Sprache und Kultur.
Sie bestraften jeden Koreaner, der nicht japanisch sprechen wollte.
Die japanischen Kolonialtyrannen verkauften sogar Bahntickets nur an jene, die bereit waren, japanisch zu sprechen.
Die Koreaner wurden auch gezwungen, japanische Namen anzunehmen.
Das Verbrechen Japans, die koreanische Sprache auszulöschen und zu verbieten und Korea zu "japanisieren", war kultureller Völkermord am koreanischen Volk.
Bis zum heutigen Tag weigern sich die japanischen Militaristen, sich für diese Verbrechen zu entschuldigen und Entschädigung zu leisten.
Japan war, ist und bleibt der geschworene Feind Koreas und des koreanischen Volkes.
Eine "Normalisierung" der Beziehungen zwischen der DVRK und Japan kann es nicht geben, so lange Japan an seiner Feindschaft und Konfrontation festhält und die Verbrechen der Kolonialherrschaft weiterhin verschweigt, beschönigt und rechfertigt.
Die DVRK und das koreanische Volk werden Japans Verbrechen niemals vergessen und niemals verzeihen.
Japan muss für seine Verbrechen gegen die koreanische Nation bestraft werden. Das ist das Gebot der Gerechtigkeit.
Japan = geschworener Feind Koreas und des koreanischen Volkes

Mixed Column of KPA Three Services Attends Military Parade in Moscow
Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- A military parade was held at Red Square in Moscow on May 9 to celebrate the 81st anniversary of Russia's victory in the Great Patriotic War.
A mixed column of the three fighting forces of the Korean People's Army attended the military parade.
Led by Colonel of the Army Choe Yong Hun, the column of the KPA marched through Red Square.
At the end of the military parade, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin met the commanding officer of the KPA parade column and expressed thanks.
The KPA column attended the victorious Moscow military parade at the invitation of Russia.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), sandte heute ein Glückwunschschreiben an Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Putin, Präsident der Russischen Föderation, anlässlich des 81. Jahrestages des Sieges der Sowjetunion über Nazideutschland.
Darin hiess es:
"Engster Genosse,
Im Namen der Regierung und des Volkes der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea sende ich Ihnen und der russischen Staatsführung und dem brüderlichen russischen Volk die aufrichtigsten Glückwünsche anlässlich des 81. Jahrestages des Sieges Russlands im Grossen Vaterländischen Krieg."
Marschall KIM JONG UN zollte den Kriegsveteranen der alten Generation Russlands seinen Respekt für die Zerschlagung des Faschismus und für die Verteidigung der Freiheit und die Befreiung der Menschheit.
Mit den Beziehungen DVRK-Russland werde eine neue brillante Geschichte der Unabhängigkeit, der Würde, des Friedens und des Gedeihens, den gemeinsamen Idealen und Wünschen beider Völker entsprechend, geschrieben.
Die Regierung der DVRK gebe der umfassenden strategischen Partnerschaft mit Bündnischarakter oberste Priorität.
Marschall KIM JONG UN schloss mit den Worten:

Mit seinem Glückwunschschreiben übermittelte der hochverehrte Marschall KIM JONG UN die enge und herzliche Freundschaft des koreanischen Volkes an das russische Volk.
Die Völker Koreas und Russlands kämpften Schulter an Schulter gegen den deutschen und japanischen Faschismus.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), leitete am 6. und am 7. Mai zwei wichtige militärische Angelegenheiten an.
*** Am 6. Mai inspizierte er einen leitenden Munitionsindustriebetrieb an.
Er informierte sich über die Produktion der neuartigen Gewehrhaubitzen, die laut einem Beschluss der 1. Plenartagung des 9. Zentralkomitees der PdAK einer Langstreckenartillerie-Einheit zugeordnet werden.
Marschall KIM JONG UN äusserte seine Zufriedenheit darüber, dass die Forschergruppe und die Arbeiterklasse auf dem Gebiet der Verteidigungswissenschaften grosse Erfolge bei der Entwicklung von Artilleriewaffen der neuen Generation errungen haben.
Er gab bekannt, dass das Jahr 2026 eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Stärkung der nationalen Verteidigungsfähigkeit der DVRK spielen werde.
*** Am 7. Mai ging Marschall KIM JONG UN an Bord des Zerstörers Choe Hyon, um dessen Manövrierfähigkeit umfassend zu bewerten und zu überprüfen.
Er lobte die Erfolge der Besatzungsmitglieder bei ihrem Training der Aneignung ihrer beruflichen Qualifikationen für die Bedienung des Zerstörers und die Kampfmanövrierfähigkeit des Kriegsschiffes.

Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on May 7 visited the Destroyer Choe Hyon and observed the test to make a general assessment of its maneuverability before its commissioning.
Accompanying him were Jo Chun Ryong, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Jong Sik, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Pak Kwang Sop, commander of the Navy, Pak Jong Chon, advisor to the Ministry of National Defence, Kim Kang Il, vice-minister of National Defence and director of the General Armaments Bureau, Kim Yong Hwan, president of the Academy of Defence Sciences, Yu Chang Son, director of the Artillery Bureau of the General Staff, Kim Myong Son, director of the Armaments Examination Bureau, and leading officials in the national defence and warship-building sectors.
Comrade Kim Jong Un boarded the Destroyer Choe Hyon to learn about a navigation plan for the test.
He highly appreciated the successes made by the crew members of the destroyer in their training to fully equip with the professional qualifications to operate the new-type destroyer, a combination of modern military and technical capabilities.
He went round the combined control center, weapon system control room and other combat duty spaces and elements of the destroyer to learn about its operational preparations.
A navigation test to assess various maneuvering elements of the destroyer was conducted with Comrade Kim Jong Un in presence in the West Sea of Korea 120 n·miles away from the shore.
The crew members of the destroyer were in full excitement and high morale as they had the honor of making a voyage in the presence of Comrade Kim Jong Un again.
Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction over the fact that the combat maneuverability of the warship agreed with the operational requirements and the advantages of the warship control system of our own style were proved.
Appreciating that all the tests for the operational commissioning of the destroyer were progressing smoothly, he ordered to hand over it to the navy in oncoming mid-June as planned.
He laid down the position, disposition and operational duty of new-type destroyers under construction and clarified a series of tasks to be carried out by the Navy for them.
He specially stressed the important tasks related to the establishment of a new naval base.
At a consultative meeting with officials in the warship-building sector on the day, Comrade Kim Jong Un received a report on the results of examination over the design changes and the newly-planned weapon system of the warships Nos. 3 and 4 under construction and made an important conclusion. He particularly stressed the meaning that our new decision on the revised and changed warship building plan is of a crucial strategic nature and such decision will fundamentally update the readiness of our army's strategic action while bringing about a great change in the building of war deterrent.
He said that we have reliable and powerful defence research group and the shipbuilding industry, expressing great expectation and belief that new decision tasks will be carried out without fail by their irresistible might of self-reliance.
Reaffirming the steadfast will of our Party to build a powerful navy at any cost, he mentioned the long-term plan for navy building and some planned work.
On the same day, he sat together with all the seamen of the destroyer and encouraged their unusual pride and self-confidence in carrying on the honorable duty, stressing the need to continuously put spurs to the training with a sense of important duty and a high sense of responsibility in order to remarkably increase the combat capability.
He had a significant photo taken with the seamen of the destroyer on the deck of the warship.
The seamen, who were honored to see Comrade Kim Jong Un and received great glory and trust from him again, made a firm determination to reliably defend our country's maritime sovereignty and remain faithful to their original and sacred mission of taking charge a part of war deterrent by actively conducting intense training to possess the tremendous capability for an actual war as befitting the brave seamen of our Party.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Gives Field Guidance at Major Munitions Industry Enterprise
Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on May 6 visited a major munitions industry enterprise and acquainted himself with the production of major weapons and combat equipment in the first half of the year.
Accompanying him were Jo Chun Ryong, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Jong Sik, first vice department director of the C.C., WPK, Pak Jong Chon, advisor to the Ministry of National Defence, Kim Kang Il, vice-minister of National Defence and director of the General Armaments Bureau, Yu Chang Son, director of the Artillery Bureau of the General Staff, Kim Myong Son, director of the Armaments Examination Bureau of the Ministry of National Defence, and Kim Yong Hwan, president of the Academy of Defence Sciences.
Comrade Kim Jong Un learned about the production of new-type self-propelled gun-howitzers for three battalions to be deployed at the long-range artillery unit in the southern borderline within this year under the decision of the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the WPK.
He heard in detail the opinions of experts on the results of various traveling, topographical overcoming and submergence crossing test of the new-type 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer carriage and the test-fire of improved shell conducted under the supplementary test plan.
He expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the research group and the working class in the field of defence sciences have made signal successes in manufacturing new-generation artillery weapon with very high mobility and striking power.
He extended militant encouragement to the workers at the enterprise who are waging a dynamic labor struggle to attain the set artillery weapon production goal, registering high results every day with the bold creation stamina and revolutionary spirit, true to the idea and decision of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.
Appreciating the advantage of the new-type 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer system being produced at the enterprise for the first time, Comrade Kim Jong Un mentioned about its military and strategic value.
He said that the striking range of this large-caliber rifled gun for the frontline units to newly equip themselves, along with various operational and tactical missile systems and powerful multiple rocket launcher systems, is over 60 km and such rapid extension of striking range and remarkable improvement of striking capability will provide a great change and advantage in the land operations of our army. And he added that we should redefine the operational concept of the use of forces and equipment on the basis of the actual conditions in which new weapons and equipment are being introduced.
He said that the new-type artillery weapon system with superior mobility, high combat environment information processing capability and automatic firing system will bring about a radical improvement in the composition of our artillery force and have an important significance in implementing the Party's military strategic policy on bolstering up the long-range artillery force.
Referring to some defects latent in the composition of production system, processing district and arrangement of equipment at the enterprise, he gave an instruction on working out a plan to introduce an automatic streamlined production system based on a more efficient and innovative idea.
He stressed the need to always pay deep attention to constantly improving the production conditions and environment.
That day, Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected a new-type main battle tank and various launchers which are being produced by the Armored Weapons Institute and several munitions industry enterprises.
He said that it is urgent to technically remodel into an ultra-modern level in the shortest period the major munitions industry enterprises, which are in a key position in the work to improve the modernity of our armed forces, and to build up a modern production and management system, adding that the Second Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the WPK will examine and approve the plans for technical renovation of the relevant munitions industry enterprises and the related budget.
He reaffirmed that the year 2026 will also record an unprecedented upgrade in the course of struggle for bolstering up the national defence capability of the country, calling for achieving signal successes every day by making strenuous efforts to bolster up the national defence capability, the most vivid expression of patriotism.
Comrade Kim Jong Un's on-site guidance over the defence field on the day is an important occasion in increasing the country's defence capabilities in a practical way.
