Die 2. Tagung der 9. Zentralen Militärkommission der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) fand am 29. August statt.
Der Oberste Führer Genosse KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der PdAK, Vorsitzender der Zentralen Militärkommission der PdAK und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), leitete die Tagung.
Die Tagung beurteilte die jüngsten politischen und militärischen Aktivitäten des Komitees der PdAK der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) und des Ministeriums der Nationalen Verteidigung und diskutierte über einige Pläne für die strukturelle Reorganisation zur Verbesserung der nationalen Verteidigung.
Es fanden einige personelle Wechsel und Umbesetzungen statt.
Pak Jong Chon, Berater des Ministeriums der Nationalen Verteidigung der DVRK, wurde zum Vizevorsitzenden der Zentralen Militärkommission der PdAK gewählt.
No Kwang Chol wurde von seinen Funktionen als
Verteidigungsminister und Mitglied der zantralen Parteiführung
entbunden und zum Vizedirektor des Munitionsindustrie-
Kim Song Gi, Direktor des Generalpolitbüros der KVA, wurde zum Minister der Nationalen Verteidigung der DVRK ernannt.
Weitere Umbesetzungen wurden vorgenommen.
Die Zentrale Militärkommission der PdAK äusserte die Erwartung und die Ueberzeugung, dass die leitenden Offiziere in ihren neuen Funktionen die militärische Linie und Politik der PdAK aktiv umsetzen werden.
Am gleichen Tag zeichnete Marschall KIM JONG UN verdiente Wissenschaftler, Forscher und Offizielle der Verteidigungsinstitutionen, die wichtige Beiträge zur militärischen und technischen Stärkung der Streitkräfte geleistet haben, mit staatlichen Auszeichnungen aus.
Mit diesen Aktivitäten wurde das politische und militärische Niveaau der Streitkräfte der DVRK und der nationalen Verteidigung gestärkt.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), sandte am 28. August Beileidbotschaften an den chinesischen Präsidenten Xi Jinping und den nepalesischen Präsidenten Ram Chandra Poudel, um ihnen im Namen der Regierung und des Volkes der DVRK und in seinem eigenen Namen wegen der Erdrutsche in Chinas Autonomer Region Tibet und in Nepal seine Anteilnahme auszusprechen.
Er sprach den Familien und Opfern sein tiefempfundenes Mitgefühl aus.
Er hoffe, dass die Schäden in beiden Ländern so bald wie möglich beseitigt werden können und die betroffene Bevölkerung wieder in Frieden und Sicherheit leben könne.
Die aufrichtige Anteilnahme des hochverehrten Generalsekretärs KIM JONG UN am Leid anderer Völker ist ein Ausdruck seiner grossen Menschenliebe.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Message of Sympathy to President of PRC
Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of sympathy to Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China, on August 28.
The message says:
I express the deepest condolences to you, Comrade General Secretary, the Chinese party, government, people, victims and bereaved families, upon the sad news that landslide caused heavy casualties in the Tibet Autonomous Region of your country.
I sincerely hope that the aftermath of the damage will be eradicated as soon as possible and the inhabitants in the afflicted areas will regain peace and stable life under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government with you, Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping, as the core.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Message of Sympathy to Nepali President
Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of sympathy to Nepali President Ram Chandra Poudel on August 28.
The message says:
Expressing the sincerest condolence and sympathy, on behalf of the government and people of the DPRK and on my own behalf, to your government, people, bereaved families and victims, upon the sad news that landslide in border areas of your country caused many casualties and missing persons, I hope that the damage will be eradicated as soon as possible.
Myongsasimni Railway Station Inaugurated in Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area
Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Myongsasimni Railway Station has been built in the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area of the DPRK crowded with tourists enjoying their fantastic holiday under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea which seeks to provide the people with a new brighter and richer life and high civilization.
The station, with a total floor space of 7 000 square meters, was built in a unique architectural style to suit the characteristics of the coastal tourist city. It is a standard local railway station built practically in terms of its mission, function and service to ensure sightseeing.
Myongsasimni Railway Station, another valuable asset for the people impeccable in its appearance and amenities, is a precious fruit of devotion made by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who finds his greatest pleasure in working hard for the people's happiness.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on Thursday.
Present there were Pak Hun, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Hwang Man Bok, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, officials in the field of railway transport, employees of Myongsasimni Railway Station, builders, working people, youth and students in the province.
Kim Ha Gyu, minister of Railways, addressed the ceremony.
He said that Myongsasimni Railway Station was successfully built under the energetic guidance of the Party Central Committee which regards the people's laughter and happiness as a symbol of the socialist system and a criterion of national power and devotes all to providing the people with the happiest life and the best civilization in the world.
True to the noble intention of the Party which set forth the task of building a new station in the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area and clearly indicated the orientation and ways for completing the project at the highest qualitative level, the builders and railway workers devoted their patriotic sweat and enthusiasm to the construction of railways and structures and created unique landscape around the station, he said.
He stressed that Myongsasimni Railway Station, built as a model of Korean-style local railway station in the coastal wonderland, clearly shows level of creation and civilization in the era of the Workers' Party that subordinates all affairs of the country to the welfare of the people.
He called upon the officials and workers in the railway transport sector to thoroughly establish the unified command system and put transport organization and command on a scientific and rational basis and the employees of Myongsasimni Railway Station to well manage the station building and the railway and conduct guide service in a responsible manner so that the travelers deeply feel the love and benevolence of the motherly Party.
The speaker stressed that all the officials and working people should single-mindedly and devotedly uphold the ideas and leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un so as to fulfill their responsibility and role in the sacred drive for overall development of Korean-style socialism and promotion of the people's wellbeing along the path indicated by the Ninth Congress of the WPK.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the railway station.

Das Verlagshaus der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) brachte den Band 71 der Vollständigen Sammlung von KIM JONG ILs Werken heraus.
Der Band enthält 42 Werke des Vorsitzenden KIM JONG IL, darunter Reden und Gespräche, aus der Zeit von November 2006 bis Juli 2007.
In einem seiner Werke unterstrich der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL den festen Willen der PdAK, den Sozialismus und die Sache des Juche mit der Waffe zu verteidigen und zu vervollkommnen.
Er schrieb, dass die Songun-Revolution der Priorität der militärischen Angelegenheiten vom hochverehrten Genossen KIM JONG UN fortgesetzt werde.
In anderen Werken befasste er sich mit der Wirtschaftspolitik der PdAK und der Verbesserung des Lebensniveaus des Volkes.
Auch der Wichtigkeit der Intensivierung der Erziehung der Parteimitglieder im Geist des Kampfes gegen den USA-Imperialismus widmete er seine Aufmerksamkeit.

Der 28. August ist der Marinetag der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK).
Er wird gefeiert zum Andenken an die Gründung der Marine der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) durch den Generalissimus KIM IL SUNG am 28. August 1949.
Er nannte die Marine "Flotte von Korea".
Die Marine der KVA versenkte während des Vaterländischen Befreiungskrieges (Korea-Krieg, 1950-1953) mehrere Kriegsschiffe der USA-Imperialisten, was stolz in die Weltgeschichte der Seeschlachten einging.
In den 1960er-Jahren brachte die Marine der KVA das bewaffnete USA-Spionageschiff Pueblo auf, was weltweit grosse Bewunderung hervorrief.
Unter der Führung des hochverehrten Marschalls KIM JONG UN erlebt die Marine der KVA einen noch nie dagewesenen Aufschwung. Er weihte mehrere Zerstörer feierlich ein.

Der 28. August ist der Jugendtag der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK).
Er wird in jedem Jahr gefeiert zum Andenken an die Gründung des Kommunistischen Jugendverbandes Koreas (KJVK) durch den grossen Führer Genossen KIM IL SUNG am 28. August 1927.
An diesem Tag entfalten die Jugendlichen des sozialistischen Korea viele politische und kulturelle Aktivitäten.
Die heutige Nachfolgeorganisation des KJVK, der Sozialistische Patriotische Jugendverband (SPJV), leitet die Aktivitäten der Jugendlichen an.
Am Jugendtag beteiligen sich die Jugendlichen in Freiwilliegenarbeit am Bau wichtiger Projekte, z. B. Krankenhäusern, Wohnsiedlungen oder landwirtschaftlichen Bauten. Dazu bilden sie viele Schockbrigaden.
Der SPJV ist die Reserve der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK).
Der hochverehrte väterliche Marschall KIM JONG UN ermutigt die Jugendlichen zu neuen Beiträgen zum Aufbau des Sozialismus.

In Beantwortung einer Frage von KCNA (www.kcna.kp) verurteilte heute ein Sprecher des Aussenministeriums der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) die feindlichen Handlungen der USA-Imperialisten.
Das USA-Staatsdepartement habe kürzlich beschlossen, der ROK Luft-Luft-Raketen vom Typ AIM-9X Sidewinder zu verkaufen. Das ist die modernste taktische Rakete der USA-Armee.
Weiter hätten die USA geplant, Millionen von $
für die "Menschenrechts"-
All dies beweise die finstere Absicht der USA, die Sicherheit der DVRK zu unterminieren und ihr Gesellschaftssystem zu destabilisieren.
Die USA hätten die ROK massiv aufgerüstet.
Das zeige, dass die USA der DVRK ewig feindlich gesinnt sein werden.
Für uns zeigt all dies klar und deutlich, dass

Fourth Enlarged Meeting of Political Bureau of Ninth Central Committee of WPK Held
Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea convened its fourth enlarged meeting on August 25 to take more political and practical measures for guaranteeing the successful implementation of the major policy tasks for 2026, the first year for implementing the new Five-Year Plan set forth by the historic Ninth Congress of the Party.
Present there were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, and members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK. Present as observers were vice-premiers of the Cabinet, major ministers, commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and senior officials of relevant departments of the C.C., WPK.
Comrade Kim Jong Un guided the meeting.
The Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee first heard a report on the progress made in this year's major policy-oriented projects, adopted and assigned by the first and second plenary meetings of the Ninth Central Committee of the Party, and on the current situation of major economic sectors.
The Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee positively appreciated the important changes and successes demonstrating the transition to a new phase of development, being made in overall state work from the first year of implementing the decisions of the Party Congress.
The enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau underlined the need to set a clear goal and orientation of the struggle and secure a scientific and efficient guarantee for bringing about certain attainment, now that the valuable successes, achieved by strenuous efforts, are being accumulated and the plans, greater than the past, are being worked out.
The enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau recalled the character and significance of this year's struggle, which is crucial for successfully attaining the gigantic long-term goals set forth by the Party Congress, and stressed the need for the Cabinet, the State Planning Commission and other economic guidance organs and the policy-oriented guidance departments of the Party Central Committee to display extraordinary responsibility and high prudence.
The Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee examined the strategic coordination and timely measures for successful completion of the projects planned for this year and strengthened capability for implementing short-, intermediate- and long-term tasks on the principle of encouraging successes and experience, constantly drawing lessons and securing solutions in conformity with the characteristics of the times and the requirements of the reality, in which a creative struggle, unprecedented in terms of the width and depth of state development and the gigantic nature of its long-term goals, is underway.
The enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau specified the principles and a series of policies for the state economic guidance organs to prudently and strategically tide over the unfavorable conditions and difficulties arising alongside ever-changing circumstances, and ensure concentration in the construction of major policy-oriented objects, in particular.
Pointing out a series of deviations revealed in the course of implementing the decisions of the Party Congress, Comrade Kim Jong Un said that they are the consequences of the immature operation and leadership of the economic guidance organs failing to keep abreast of our greater ideals and progress and such shortcomings can be overcome and eliminated by the efforts redoubled with a new determination and struggle will.
Noting that the important duty to steer all sectors of socialist construction to fresh innovations and changes and eye-opening rate of growth has been placed on the shoulders of the leading cadres, he called upon all the Party organizations to more dynamically conduct their organizational and political work to give full play to the spiritual strength of the masses as required by the invariable policy of the Party Central Committee on giving priority to ideological work in every undertaking.
Saying that the on-going advance requires extraordinary courage and strenuous efforts beyond precedents and limits, he noted that the goals of transformations set forth by the Ninth Party Central Committee are not merely the numbers in practical plans but important political tasks for preserving the dignity of the country and proving the superiority of the social system.
He stressed the need for the officials responsible for the implementation of the Party decisions to successfully conclude this year's struggle without fail and thus pave a broad avenue to attaining the new long-term goals, always mindful that the current daily successes, symbolic of the on-going accelerated advance and development, will just lead to the promotion of the people's wellbeing.
DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesperson on U.S. Hostile Moves
Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Thursday as regards the fact that the U.S. is repeatedly resorting to a series of hostile moves adversely affecting the security environment of the DPRK and the regional situation:
Recently, the U.S. Department of State decided to sell the ROK AIM-9X Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, the latest ultra-modern tactical missile currently operated by the U.S. army and which can be used to attack ground targets, and their related equipment worth 125 million US$.
Earlier, it announced its plan to allot millions of U.S. dollars to the "human rights" smear campaign in order to create conditions favorable for grasping so-called "human rights situation" in the DPRK and gathering information about the DPRK.
The above-said acts are another case proving the persistence and sequence of the U.S. hostile moves to add a new threat to the security sphere of the DPRK and create instability in the social system of our state.
This year alone, the U.S. approved the sale of various lethal equipment worth an astronomical sum of money, including the latest air-to-air missiles, new-type helicopters for naval operation, attack helicopters and precisely guided bombs, encouraging the ROK to boost its capability to fight a war.
Now that the military integration of the U.S. and its allies is being accelerated in the Asia-Pacific region, we can not overlook the adverse effect of the U.S. sale of its weapons to the ROK on the regional security environment.
The reality clearly proves how actively and zealously the U.S. is trying to expand the new threat to the DPRK.
We once again and clearly recognized the expression of the U.S. open attitude to be always hostile to the DPRK.
The DPRK is well aware of the reality that there always exists outsiders' malignant attempt and threat to the DPRK's security and its political stability, and will make a serious, immediate and powerful response to the hostile acts in different spheres.

Wie KCNA (www.kcna.kp) in der Artikelreihe Verbrechen Japans, des geschworenen Feindes der koreanischen Nation schreibt, hätten die japanischen Reaktionäre auch nach der Niederlage Japans im Zweiten Weltkrieg ihre feindliche Politik gegenüber dem koreanischen Volk fortgesetzt, die in Japan lebenden Koreaner unterdrückt und diskriminiert und ihre Menschenrechte verletzt.
Die japanischen Behörden hätten das "Dekret über die Registrierung von Ausländern" zur Ueberwachung und Unterdrückung aller Koreaner in Japan, die 90% aller Ausländer in Japan ausmachen, erlassen.
Die Ein- und Ausreise von Koreanern wurde unter fadenscheinigen Vorwänden erschwert.
Unter dem Vorwand der "Bestrafung blinder Passagiere" wurden 1946 mehr als 26 000 Koreaner in Lager auf der Insel Kyushu gesperrt.
Hunderte von Koreanern wurden von April bis August jenes Jahres ermordet.
Die japanischen Reaktionäre massakrierten Koreaner in Japan, denen sie die "Verletzung des Registrierungsdekrets" vorwarfen.
Am 7. September 1947 attackierte eine Meute von Japanern in Kitami auf Hokkaido mehr als 40 Koreaner mit Keulen und Dolchen, töteten zwei und verwundeten fünf ernsthaft.
In den 1960er-Jahren wurden Koreaner in Omiya in der Präfektur Saitama und in Tenri in der Präfektur Nara ermordet.
Die Verbrechen der japanischen Reaktionäre am koreanischen Volk sind Ausdruck ihres chauvinistischen Wahns und ihrer rassistischen Verachtung und Feindschaft gegenüber Koreanern.
Unterstützt von ihrer starken Auslandskoreaner-Organisation, der Generalvereinigung der Koreaner in Japan (Chongryon), wehren sich die Japan-Koreaner gegen die Unterdrückung und Diskriminierung durch die japanischen Reaktionäre.
Wir wünschen den Koreanern in Japan Erfolg bei der Verteidigung ihrer demokratischen und nationalen Rechte.

Die 4. erweiterte Tagung des Politbüros des 9. Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) fand am 25. August statt.
Der Oberste Führer Genosse KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der PdAK, leitete die Tagung.
Sie befasste sich mit der Umsetzung der wichtigsten Ziele für das Jahr 2026, das erste Jahr des neuen Fünfjahrplans, der vom 9. Parteitag der PdAK beschlossen worden war.
Das Politbüro des Partei-Zentralkomitees zog eine positive Bilanz der wichtigsten Veränderungen und Erfolge der staatlichen Politik seit dem Parteitag.
Die Tagung stellte dem Kabinett, der Staatlichen Plankommission und anderen wirtschaftliichen Leitungsorganen sowie den leitenden Departementen des Partei-Zentralkomitees den Auftrag, mit höchster Verantwortung und Klugheit die anstehenden Aufgaben zu erfüllen.
Generalsekretär KIM JONG UN nahm Stellung zu einigen Abweichungen im Lauf der Umsetzung der Parteitagsbeschlüsse. Diese Mängel seien auf unreife Führung der wirtschaftlichen Leitungsorgane zurückzuführen.
Versäumnisse könnten mit verdoppelter Anstrengung überwunden werden.
Generalsekretär KIM JONG UN rief alle Parteiorganisationen auf, ihre organisatorische und politische Arbeit noch dynamischer auszuführen und der ideologischen Arbeit Priorität einzuräumen.
Dies sei wichtig für die Würde des Landes und die Ueberlegenheit des gesellschaftlichen Systems des sozialistischen Korea.
Von der erfolgreichen Umsetzung der Parteibeschlüsse hänge die Verbesserung des Lebensniveaus des Volkes und sein Wohl ab.
Wir wünschen der PdAK unter der Führung des hochverehrten Generalsekretärs KIM JONG UN eine erfolgreiche Erfüllung des neuen Fünfjahrplans und weitere Erfolge des wirtschaftlichen Aufschwungs.

Kürzlich haben die USA Syrien von ihrer willkürlichen, illegalen und völkerrechtswidrigen "Liste der Staaten, die den Terrorismus unterstützen" gestrichen.
Doch die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) steht noch immer auf dieser Liste.
Wenn der USA-Präsident Trump seine Sympathie für das Staatsoberhaupt der DVRK unter Beweis stellen will, muss er unverzüglich und bedingungslos die DVRK von dieser diskriminierenden Liste streichen.
Wie allgemein bekannt ist, lehnt die DVRK den Terrorismus entschieden ab und verurteilt ihn - egal von wem und unter welchen Vorwänden er auch immer verübt wird.
Dies hat die Regierung der DVRK in vielen Stellungnahmen immer wieder bekräftigt.
Es gab noch nie einen Terrorakt, der von der DVRK "unterstützt" worden wäre.
Umgekehrt ist die DVRK von staatlichem Terrorismus, der vor allem von der ROK in Form von Sabotage und Subversion ausgeht, bedroht.
Der grösste internationale Terrorist sind die USA. Mit Aggressionskriegen, Entführung und Tötung ausländischer Staatsoberhäupter, "Regimewechsel"-Umstürzen und -Attentaten, Cyberattacken gegen souveräne Staaten, Embargos und Blockaden überzeiehn sie die Welt mit Terror und Gewalt.

Wie KCNA (www.kcna.kp) heute in einem Kommentar meldet, begaben sich japanische Politiker am 15. August, dem 81. Jahrestag der Niederlage Japans im Zweiten Weltkrieg, in den Yasukuni-Schrein in Tokio, in dem auch das Andenken an die schlimmsten und übelsten Kriegsverbrecher Japans geehrt wird.
Im Yasukuni-Schrein wird auch des Kriegsverbrechers Nr. 1, Hideki Tojo, gedacht.
Auch die japanische Ministerpräsidentin Takaichi offerierte dem Schrein ein Geschenk und verneigte sich vor ihm.
Es sei ungewöhnlich, heisst es im Kommentar, dass sich ein amtierender japanischer Ministerpräsident am Jahrestag der Niederlage Japans vor dem Schrein verneige.
Der Kommentar verurteilt die extrem gefährliche militaristische Politik des Takaichi-Regimes, die jene vieler Vorgängerregimes übertreffe.
Takaichi habe ihren "langersehnten Wunsch" nach überseeischer Expansion bekräftigt.
Der Besuch des japanischen Verteidigungsministers im Schrein habe die Schamlosigkeit noch erhöht.
Die Verehrung der übelsten Aggressoren und Mörder durch die japanischen Politiker sei eine Beleidigung der nach Frieden und Sicherheit strebenden Völker.
Wie KCNA prophezeite, werde die Inselnation in den Flammen ihres Neomilitarismus verbrennen.
Auch wir sind empört über die Verherrlichung der schlimmsten Kriegsverbrecher, darunter Hideki Tojos, durch die japanischen Neomilitaristen am Jahrestag der Kapitualtion Japans.
Mit den Besuchen im Yasukuni-Schrein beleidigen die japanischen Neomilitaristen auch das koreanische Volk, das vom japanischen Imperialismus besonders grausam unterdrückt wurde und an dem unzählige Massaker verübt wurden.
Japan hat aus seiner finsteren und grausamen Vergangenheit nichts gelernt und beschwört damit die Gefahr eines neuen Krieges in der Region herauf.

Das Verlagshaus der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) brachte den Band 70 der Vollständigen Sammlung von KIM JONG ILs Werken heraus.
Der Band enthält 50 Werke des Vorsitzenden KIM JONG IL, darunter Reden, Gespräche und Briefe, aus der Zeit von Januar bis Oktober 2006.
In seinen Werken nannte er die Tradition des Verbands zur Zerschlagung des Imperialismus (VZI, gegründet am 17. Oktober 1926 vom Genossen KIM IL SUNG) als ewiges Fundament der koreanischen Revolution.
Er rief zur Festigung der revolutionären Kameradschaft und der Einheit auf.
Einige Werke appellierten an die Offiziellen, initiativ und kreativ zu wirken und als politische Aktivisten noble Persönlichkeiten zu sein.
Der sozialistische Wirtschaftsaufbau sollte das Lebensniveau des Volkes verbessern, wurde in weiteren Werken betont.
Auch die Sci-Tech- und IT-Technologie wurden als wichtig erachtet, ebenso die Schaffung neuer künstlerischer Meisterwerke und Sportspiele.

Vor 78 Jahren, am 9. September 1948, proklamierte Präsident KIM IL SUNG die Gründung der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK).
Der erste unabhängige, freie und demokratische Staat des koreanischen Volkes, nach dem es sich so lange gesehnt hatte, war geboren!
Der Staatsgründung vorausgegangen war eine Diskussion über den Namen des zu gründenden Staates.
In der Uebergangsperiode zwischen der Befreiung Koreas und der Staatgründung, in den Jahren 1945-1948, wurden verschiedene Namen für den Staat vorgeschlagen.
Die Sektierer und Fraktionisten nörgelten über die vom Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG vorgeschlagene und gewünschte Staatsbezeichnung "Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea". Sie behaupteten, dieser Staatsname sei "zu lang" und "im Ausland würde keinem Staat ein solcher Name gegeben".
Einige dieser sektiererischen und fraktionistischen Elemente schlugen vor, der Staat müsse "Volksrepublik Korea" heissen. Andere wollten ihn "Demokratische Republik Korea" nennen, unter Weglassung des Wortes "Volk".
Präsident KIM IL SUNG wies diese absurden "Vorschläge" entschieden zurück und bestand darauf, dass der Staatsname "Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea" (DVRK) lauten soll.
Dieser Name widerspiegle den souveränen sowie den wahren demokratischen und volksverbundenen Charakter der zu gründenden Republik.
Präsident KIM IL SUNG bestand mit Nachdruck darauf, sowohl das Wort "Volk" als auch das Wort "demokratisch" in den Staatsnamen aufzunehmen.
Dies entsprach auch dem Willen des koreanischen Volkes, das sich mit dieser Staatsbezeichnung angesprochen fühlte.
Dieser Staatsname charakterisiert die DVRK als den Staat des Volkes, das vom Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG zeit seines Lebens als das Höchste, das Wichtigste und das Edelste und Wertvollste betrachtet wurde, getreu seiner Maxime Das Volk ist Gott.
Mit dem Wort "demokratisch" unterstrich Präsident KIM IL SUNG den demokratischen Charakter des Staates, in dem das Volk seine demokratischen Rechte ausübt, die Regierung wählt und die Gesetze bestimmt.
Auch im Namen des Parlaments sollte das Wort "Volk" seinen festen Platz haben. Es trägt den Namen "Oberste Volksversammlung der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea".
Das Gleiche gilt für die Armee, die bereits zur Zeit des bewaffneten antijapanischen Befreiungskampfes in den 1930er- und 1940er-Jahren den Namen "Koreanische Revolutionäre Volksarmee" (KRVA) trug und seit ihrer Konstituierung als reguläre Armee des unabhängigen Staates (8. Februar 1948) den Namen "Koreanische Volksarmee" (KVA) trägt.
Nach dem Ableben des Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG (8. Juli 1994) festigte der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL den volksverbundenen und demokratischen Charakter der DVRK.
Die DVRK entwickelte sich zu einem das Volk privilegierenden sozialistischen Staat, in dem alles dem Volk und dessen Glück und Wohl dient.
Heute wird unter der Leitung des hochverehrten Vorsitzenden KIM JONG UN die Volksmacht in der DVRK weiter gefestigt und perfektioniert.
Das koreanische Volk verteidigt mit Stolz und Patriotismus seinen Staat, die DVRK, und den auf der Juche-Ideologie basierenden unabhängigen Sozialismus koreanischer Prägung.
Die vom Genossen KIM IL SUNG begründete Juche-Ideologie stellt das Volk in den Mittelpunkt. Deshalb ist der Staatsname der DVRK der einzig richtige.
Das Volk ist der Herr im sozialistischen Korea.
Die DVRK kann mit berechtigtem Stolz auf ihre bald acht Jahrzehnte umfassende Geschichte zurückblicken.
Es lebe die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea, der souveräne und demokratische Staat des koreanischen Volkes!

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, released the following press statement "Poor plight of Seoul unable to play a war game it liked very much" on August 20:
Ulji Freedom Shield, a large-scale rehearsal for an aggressive war being conducted by the U.S. and the ROK in the ROK, was given a frosty reception right after its kick-off.
Trump issued a sudden order to reduce the scale of the drill. This has placed Seoul in a poor plight of discontinuing the "war game" it liked very much.
It will be something like the first "trouble" to the ROK, unprecedented in the history of U.S.-ROK joint military exercises, in the context that it has never seen the scale of a war game reduced to become coreless right after its kick-off with no prior discussion.
The ROK cannot let out a single word of protest at the GIs leaving without any mutual coordination at the U.S. chief executive's unilateral order. This is the inevitable fate of the puppet army, whose right to command has been left in the hands of the U.S., and the true situation of the ROK, whose security has been placed at stake due to a reduction of the joint military drill and who brags about its "enough capability for self-defence" despite its defence and security being under the care of outsiders.
The plight of the ROK, which is compelled to stop the "war game" it liked very much, is showing the structure of the relation between master and servant called the "U.S.-ROK blood alliance" of which it has boasted.
As recognized generally, this unforeseen consequence is an evident disaster brought by the unrealistic and anachronistic security outlook pursued by the ROK authorities who have ceaselessly repeated unnecessary attempts to reverse the regional mechanical structure controlled by a nuclear-armed nation, blinded by their firm belief in the U.S. master.
The ROK has reaped what it sowed.
The ROK authorities are hyping it as an "occasion for new phase and good opportunity for a change in relations" to cover up their poor plight, which is nothing but a lame excuse.
Lee Jae Myung curried favor with the U.S. in public by uttering shameful words that he pays "respects" for Trump's "decisive rollback decision" and it was a "decision from deep consideration" and then talked about "independent national defence" and "independent buildup of military capabilities" to prepare for the "worst scenario". Such double-dealing behaviour vividly proves uneasiness and impatience of the ROK.
The world witnesses that the U.S. security aids are no longer free of charge.
The whole territory of the ROK would be insufficient to curry favour with the cruel master.
What about deeply considering its position of complete subordination and finding a way of existence on this occasion?
Seoul should be aware of the unavoidable fate of the "puppet".
Japan's Increased Defence Budget Will Escalate "Security Deficit": KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- Japan's sinister intention to accelerate its drive for turning itself into a war state while deceiving the international community has been brought to light.
It was reported on Aug. 18 that the Japanese Defence Ministry is going to request about 8.9 trillion yen as the fiscal 2027 budget for "defence cost".
But the final amount of the "defense cost" will reportedly increase to 10 trillion yen at the time of budgeting at the end of the year, for there exist more than 150 "items required" without specific cost.
Such increase in Japan's "defence cost," which will hit an all-time high, means the expansion of the dangerous war budget that will bring new turmoil to the region and other parts of the world.
Historically, Japan has increased the "defence cost" to a record level every year and turned the "Self-Defence Forces" into modern preemptive attack forces in a crafty way of adding to the budget, hyping "threat from neighboring countries".
According to three security documents, including the "national security strategy" published at the end of 2022, the Japanese reactionaries set the "defence cost" for 2023-2027 totaling about 43 trillion yen and assert that it is adjusted and spent by yearly installments. This is no more than a lame excuse and deceptive farce.
As for the "defence cost" for 2026 only, the present Japanese regime claimed it is 9.0353 trillion yen, 3.8 percent increase from the initial budget in 2025, but in fact it has made the biggest "leap" by exceeding 10 trillion yen.
It is not difficult to imagine the tremendous scale of next year's military spending, which will further expand at the end of this year, and it is clear that such huge military spending will lead to arms buildup for rounding off the preparations for a war of aggression.
In fact, Japan is to spend the money for the development of underwater-launched hypersonic missile, massive deployment of attack drones, such strengthened response to "new warfare" as the introduction of AI into the SDF command system and additional deployment of long-range missiles "capable of attacking enemy bases".
What merits attention is the fact that Japan's military spending, the highest in the world, is accompanied by the astronomical amount of state debt.
As known, Japan's state debt exceeded 1 343 trillion yen at the end of 2025, an increase of 1.5 percent from the previous year's, consecutively breaking records over a decade.
Meanwhile, Japan renewed the previous record in its "defence cost", thus becoming the world's sixth largest weapon importer in 2021-2025.
Despite such deteriorating financial situation, the Japanese reactionaries are spending a huge amount of money, collected from the people as taxes, for massively securing various long-range strike means like the U.S.-made Tomahawk cruise missiles and developing offensive weaponry. It is as clear as noonday that this is not for building a "pacifist state".
It is a foolish dream to think that their vicious militarist nature, characterized by aggression and war, can be concealed with the veil of "defence" and "self- defence".
With such reckless arms buildup, it is impossible to guarantee the future of the archipelago and the record-breaking war budget will only escalate its "security deficit".
The righteous regional community will never overlook the military evolution of the descendants of the war criminal nation disturbing peace and security of the world but thoroughly counter it by concerted efforts.

Kim Yo Jong, Departementsdirektorin des Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK), gab am 20. August folgende Presseerklärung ab: Seoul ist in schlechter Lage, weil es die Kriegsmanöver, die ihm behagen, nicht vollenden kann.
Sie sagte, dass Trumps Befehl, die Kriegsmanöver Ulji Freedom Shield vorzeitig abzubrechen, Seoul in eine schlechte Lage versetzt habe, denn es habe das "Kriegsspiel" fortsetzen wollen.
Dieses Ereignis sei bisher einmalig in der Geschichte der gemeinsamen Militärmanöver USA-ROK.
Die ROK könne nicht gegen den Manöverabbruch protestieren, denn ihre Marionettenarmee sei ganz in den Händen der USA.
Die "Blutallianz USA-ROK" sei eine Beziehung zwischen Meister und Untergebenem.
Ri Jae Myung habe Trumps "entscheidende Rollback-Entscheidung" nach aussen "respektiert" und dann von "unabhängiger nationaler Verteidigung" der ROK und von "unabhängiger Stärkung der militärischen Fähigkeiten", um sich auf das "schlimmste Szenario" vorzubereiten, gesprochen.
Das zeige der Welt, dass die "Sicherheitshelfer" der USA keine Entscheidungsfreiheit hätten.
Genossin Kim Yo Jong schloss mit den Worten: "Seoul sollte sich bewusst sein über sein unvermeidliches Schicksal als 'Puppe' ".
Die klaren Worte der Departementsdirektorin Kim Yo Jong führen der ganzen Welt einmal mehr deutlich vor Augen, dass die ROK kein "unabhängiger Staat" ist, der selber entscheiden kann, sondern ein Befehlsempfänger und eine Marionette Washingtons.
Das Regime in Seoul muss tun, was sein Herr und Meister in Washington ihm befiehlt - ob es ihm gefällt oder nicht.
Das ändert nichts an der Gefährlichkeit der aggressiven Kriegsallianz USA-ROK.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Liberation Tower on Occasion of 81st Anniversary of National Liberation
Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Friday visited the Liberation Tower on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of national liberation.
Accompanying him were senior officials of the WPK Central Committee and leading officials of the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.
The Korean People's Army guard of honor lined up before the Liberation Tower.
The national anthems of the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were played.
A wreath in the name of Comrade Kim Jong Un was laid amid the playing of wreath-laying music.
Written on the ribbon of the wreath were the letters reading "We will not forget the feats of the martyrs of the Soviet Army".
Comrade Kim Jong Un paid high tribute to the martyrs of the Soviet Army who bravely fought for the liberation war of our people for freedom and independence of the country.
He looked round the Liberation Tower with those officials.
Looking back with deep emotion on the militant feats of the officers and men of the Red Army who dedicated their hot blood to the sacred cause of Korea's liberation, he said that even after the lapse of time and even though one generation may be replaced by another, the DPRK people will always remember the noble soul the martyrs put into this land and the heroic, self-sacrificing spirit displayed by them.
The excellent history, traditions and ties of blood between the DPRK and Russia now serve as a fundamental cornerstone and inexhaustible driving force for the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, he said, stating that the great friendship and unity between the two peoples forged with the noble idea and genuine militant friendship would be steadily carried forward and developed generation after generation along with the new era of comprehensive efflorescence.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to Russian President
Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on August 15.

I express deep thanks to you for sending a message of warm greeting on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation.
Korea's liberation on August 15 was an auspicious event of our people that put an end to the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule spanning decades and won national independence and sovereignty, and a great political event that opened up a broad road for building an independent powerful country.
The sacred history of national liberation of our people who ended the distress-torn history of stateless Korean nation and retook the independent dignity is associated with the feats of the officers and men of the Red Army who fought bravely in the sacred war for annihilating the common enemy.

81st Anniversary of National Liberation Marked in DPRK
Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- All the people of the DPRK significantly marked the 81st anniversary of national liberation.
At the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state, people bowed to the portraits of the peerlessly great men.
Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students laid flower baskets, bouquets and flowers at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill here and in all other parts of the country and mosaics of the peerlessly great men.
Officials of the C.C., General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and the C.C., Socialist Women's Union of Korea visited the Korean Revolution Museum to grasp the immortal revolutionary feats performed by the President in accomplishing the great historic cause of national liberation.
