Vor 94 Jahren, am 25. April 1932, gründete der grosse Generalissimus KIM IL SUNG die Koreanische Revolutionäre Volksarmee (KRVA).

Sie führte den bewaffneten Kampf gegen die japanischen Imperialisten und für die Befreiung Koreas.

Die KRVA war die erste Streitmacht des koreanischen Volkes, die für die nationale Befreiung Koreas vom Kolonialjoch des japanischen Imperialismus kämpfte.

Sie hatte ihr Hauptquartier im Päktu-Gebirge, am Fuss des Berges Päktu, des höchsten Berges und heiligen Berges Koreas.

Unter dem Oberbefehl des Generalissimus KIM IL SUNG kämpfte die KRVA in den Jahren 1932-1945 heldenhaft gegen die japanischen Okkupanten, errang in unzähligen Schlachten historiscche Siege und befreite Korea schliesslich am 15. August 1945.

Die vom grossen Generalissmus KIM IL SUNG, dem unbezwingbaren Heerführer und Strategen vom Päktu-Gebirge mit eisernem Willen, geführte KRVA brachte dem koreanischen Volk die lang ersehnte Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit.

Aus der KRVA ging die Koreanische Volksarmee (KVA) hervor, die am 8. Februar 1948 als die reguläre Armee des unabhängigen Korea und der noch im gleichen Jahr (9. September 1948) gegründeten Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) gegründet wurde.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), wohnte am 15. April, dem Tag der Sonne, zu Ehren des 114. Geburtstages des Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG einem Schiesswettbewerb der Artillerie-Untereinheiten der grossen kombinierten Einheiten der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) bei.

Er wurde begrüsst von Verteidigungsminister No Kwang Chol, Generalstabschef Ri Yong Gil und von Kim Song Gi, Direktor des Generalpolitbüros der KVA, und weiteren leitenden Offizieren.

Der Schiesswettbewerb fand im westlichen Gebiet der Republik statt.

Die Rangliste war folgende:

1. Platz: Artillerie-Unterenheit des Hauptstadt-Verteidigungskorps,

2. Platz: 4. Korps der KVA,

3. Platz: 2. Korps der KVA,

4. Platz: 8. Korps der KVA,

5. Platz: 3. Korps der KVA.

Marschall KIM JONG UN äusserte seine Zufriedenheit und sagte, dass der am höchsten nationalen Feiertag durchgeführte Artillerie-Schiesswettbewerb den Enthusiasmus der Artilleristen und deren militanten Geist gezeigt habe.

Es sei wichtig, an nationalen Feiertagen und anderen bedeutenden Anlässen und Jahrestagen Trainingswettbewerbe zu organisieren. Das entspreche dem Wunsch des Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG zu dessen Lebzeiten für den Aufbau einer starken Armee und sei ein Ausdruck der Loyalität zur Partei, zur Revolution, zum Land und zum Volk und zur Mission der Armee.

Die Siegereinheit wurde mit einem Diplom, einer Medaille und einem Abzeichen ausgezeichnet.

Marschall KIM JONG UN liess sich mit den beteiligten Offizieren und Soldaten fotografieren.

Der Schiesswettbewerb zum festlichen Anlass des Tages der Sonne war ein posthumes Geschenk für den grossen Führer Genossen KIM IL SUNG und veranschaulichte die Kampfkraft der Artillerie der KVA, die in einem realen Krieg eine zentrale Rolle spielen würde.

Peerlessly Great Man Opens up and Glorifies Era of Independence

Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The immortal revolutionary hymn "Song of General Kim Il Sung" sung by artistes of different countries is resounding at the stages of the 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival.

Watching art performances which reflected boundless reverence for President    Kim Il Sung, the Korean people and the world progressives are recollecting with deep emotion the immortal exploits the President performed for the times and the revolution and for the human cause of independence.

The President founded the Juche idea and put forward the oppressed and maltreated popular masses as the masters of history and led them to hew out their destiny by their own efforts, at the centre of the times and history.

In October 1972 the President met a friendly government delegation of Burkina Faso on a visit to the DPRK. He told its members that they should increase their economic strength in order to defend their political independence, and if they worship big countries and depend on them, they will have an idea that their own things are bad and the others' things are good.

Hearing the teachings given by the President, the members of the delegation cherished the truth that independence in politics can be realized only through self-support in the economy.

The members of a Guinean party and government delegation, who met the President, came to know the truth of independence while hearing his teachings.

Whenever he met many personages of political and public circles around the world who visited the DPRK, the President said that to maintain independence in the party and state activities is the most just policy that meets the requirements of the present era and that all the matters arising in the revolutionary struggle should be solved in conformity with the actual conditions of their countries by relying on the efforts of their people.

Indeed, President Kim Il Sung is a peerless sage who devoted his all to accomplishing the human cause of independence under the uplifted banner of independence all his life.

 

Press Statement of Policy Section Chief of Institute for Japan Studies under DPRK Foreign Ministry

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The policy section chief of the Institute for Japan Studies under the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK issued a press statement titled "Japan's diplomatic blue book is a tricky document to beautify its extreme militarist moves with 'threat from the neighboring countries'" on April 14.

The press statement is as follows:

Shortly ago, Japan announced the "2026 diplomatic blue book" woven with conventional gangster-like logic and absurdity.

I do not care whether Japan announced the diplomatic blue book or not, but I can never overlook the fact that it called into question the DPRK's exercise of right to legitimate self-defence, in an absurd attempt to shake the position of a nuclear weapons state specified in the Constitution of the DPRK.

Japan termed the DPRK's measures for bolstering up its defence capabilities, which belong to the right to self-defence, "grave and urgent threat" and "clear and serious challenge" and made an anachronistic and evasive assertion like "complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement" and "complete implementation of the resolution of the UN Security Council".

This is a grave provocation encroaching upon the sovereign rights, security interests and development rights of our sacred state and, at the same time, it fully reveals Japan's deep-rooted hostility and confrontational intention toward the DPRK.

In the diplomatic blue book, Japan talked about the "international order based on rules" and "governing by law", but refused to mention its master's top-class rogue act of unhesitatingly resorting to aggression and use of armed forces against sovereign states to hold its unilateral hegemony.

Japan, a vassal state of the U.S., which has neither clear political view nor independence, is making desperate efforts to deny the position of the DPRK as a nuclear weapons state. This is impudent and ridiculous act not quite fit for it.

Whenever an opportunity presents itself, Japan is letting loose rhetoric about the exercise of the right to self-defence by neighboring countries. Such move is aimed at covering up its criminal nature of shaking the keynote of security in the region while pursuing legal and institutional completion as a war state and expansion of its aggressive attack capability.

Japan's diplomatic blue book is a tricky and confrontation document from A to Z to beautify the militarist moves of the Japanese authorities who are dreaming of bringing about the second imperial era and rushing headlong into its realization with "threat from the neighboring countries" as an excuse.

 

DPRK Foreign Ministry Sportsperson on General Election of Parliament in Myanmar

Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on April 14 as regards the fact that the general election of the parliament was recently held in Myanmar and that a new president was elected and inaugurated:

We pay regard to the fact that the five-year-long political transition has been ended and the country has entered a new phase of the development of the state and the society as the general election of the parliament was held in Myanmar and the president, elected through constitutional procedures, was inaugurated.

We respect the aspiration and choice of the people of Myanmar to achieve solid socio-political stability and create a peaceful and sustainable development environment in Myanmar.

We expect the development of the new situation in Myanmar will bring about the country's socio-political stability, promote the economic development and lead to the regional peace and stability of the situation.

Destroyer Choe Hyon Conducts Test-fire of Weapon Systems

Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The test-fire of strategic cruise missiles and anti-warship missiles was conducted again in the operational efficiency test system of destroyer Choe Hyon of the Navy of the Korean People's Army on April 12.

Comrade Kim Jong Un, together with leading officials in the field of national defence and commanding officers of the Navy, observed the test-fire.

The test-fire was aimed at checking the launching control line of the warship's integrated weapon commanding system and familiarizing the seamen with the missile firing action, as well as confirming the accuracy and the rate of hits of the improved active anti-jamming navigation system.

Two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-warship missiles were test-fired from destroyer Choe Hyon.

The launched strategic cruise missiles flew for 7 869s to 7 920s and anti-warship missiles for 1 960s to 1 973s along the flight orbits set in the sky above the West Sea of Korea and struck the targets with ultra-precision hit accuracy.

On the same day, Comrade Kim Jong Un heard a report on the examined formation plan of weapon systems for the destroyers Nos. 3 and 4 under construction and made an important conclusion.

He expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the preparedness of our army's strategic action has been strengthened in a qualitative way with various achievements recently made in the field of defence science.

Saying that it is our Party's invariable national defence line and most important priority task to steadily and unlimitedly bolster up the powerful and reliable nuclear war deterrent, he clarified the important tasks for further strengthening the strategic and tactical attack capability, a key component of the nuclear war deterrent, and for improving and sophisticating the prompt response posture.

 

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Educational Aid Fund, Stipends to Korean Children in Japan

Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan the educational aid fund and stipends amounting to 316.36 million yen in Japanese currency for the democratic national education of the children of Koreans in Japan on the occasion of the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The educational aid fund and stipends, sent by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the children of Korean residents in Japan in 172 installments so far, total to 50 304 950 390 yen in Japanese currency.

Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- The 15th of April this year is the 114th birthday of President Kim Il Sung.

Pyongyang in April is always wrapped up in an atmosphere of boundless reverence of the Korean people and the world progressives for the President, the founder of socialist Korea.

Performances of Foreign Art Troupes Given for 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The desire of the world progressives to celebrate the April holiday as a great auspicious event common to mankind is expressed with the songs of friendship.

Russian, Vietnamese and Lao artistes, who took part in the 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival, put colorful art pieces on the stage to enliven the atmosphere of the festival.

The Russian art troupes, including the light music band of the Maritime Territory Music Association, well represented the Korean people's favorite songs to clearly show the Russian people's deep reverence for the peerlessly great man.

Die Marine der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) führte am 12. April einen Test einer strategischen Cruise Missile und von Anti-Kriegsschiff-Raketen durch.

Die Geschosse wurden vom Zerstörer Choe Hyon aus abgefeuert.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), beobachtete den Test und leitete ihn an.

Mit dem Test sollte das Abfeuern von Raketen an Bord von Kriegsschiffen geübt werden.

Die strategische Cruise Missile und die Anti-Kriegsschiff-Raketen trafen ihre Ziele im Koreanischen Westmeer.

Marschall KIM JONG UN hörte einen Bericht über den Plan von Waffensystemen für die sich im Bau befindlichen Zerstörer Nr. 3 und 4 und erteilte eine wichtige Weisung.

Wie er betonte, sei die Stärkung der atomaren Abschreckungsmacht die Priorität der Linie der PdAK für die nationale Verteidigung.

Wir unterstützen die Stärkung der nationalen Verteidigung des sozialistischen Korea. Nur so kann die Souveränität und die Sicherheit der DVRK wirksam gegen feindliche Aggressionsmanöver geschützt werden.

April - Tag der Sonne) sandte der hochverehrte Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), Bildungshilfefonds und Stipendien an die Generalvereinigung der Koreaner in Japan (Chongryon) im Wert von 316,36 Mio. Yen in japanischer Währung für die demokratische nationale Erziehung der koreanischen Kinder in Japan.

Die vom Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG, vom Vorsitzenden KIM JONG IL und vom Generalsekretär KIM JONG UN den koreanischen Kindern in Japan 172-mal zugesandten Bildungshilfefonds und Stipendien belaufen sich auf 50 304 950 390 Yen.

Damit bekundeten die väterlichen grossen Führer Koreas ihre Liebe zu den koreanischen Kindern in Japan.

Die Chongryon setzt diese Hilfsgüter dafür ein, dass die in Japan lebenden koreanischen Kinder eine demokratische nationale Erziehung erhalten und patriotisch zu Koreanern erzogen werden.

Der Aussenminister der Volksrepublik China, Wang Yi, stattete der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) am 9./10. April einen Bersuch ab.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der DVRK, empfing am 10. April den chinesischen Aussenminister Wang Yi zu Gesprächen, die in einer herzlichen Athmosphäre verliefen.

Von seiten der DVRK nahm teil: Kim Song Nam, Mitglied des Politbüros und Sekretär des Zentralkomitees der PdAK und Direktor für Internationale Verbindungen.

Von seiten Chinas nahmen teil: der chinesische Botschafter Wang Yajun und die Vizeaussenministerin Hua Chunying.

Aussenminister Wang Yi überbrachte dem Vorsitzenden KIM JONG UN warme Grüsse des chinesischen Präsidenten Xi Jinping.

Der Vorsitzende KIM JONG UN liess seinerseits dem Präsidenten Xi Jinping Grüsse übermitteln.

Der Vorsitzende KIM JONG UN hob die Wichtigkeit regelmässiger Kontakte zwischen Vertretern beider Staaten hervor, um über ihre gemeinsamen Interessen und ihre Kooperation zu beraten.

Er erläuterte den Standpunkt der PdAK und der Regierung der DVRK zu regionalen und internationalen Fragen.

Wang Yi sagte, dass die Partei und die Regierung Chinas den Freundschaftsbeziehungen China-DVRK eine grosse Bedeutung beimessen würden, und erinnerte an das Treffen der beiden Staatsoberhäupter in Beijing im September des Vorjahres.

Der Vorsitzende KIM JONG UN nannte die Freundschaftsbeziehungen DVRK-China eine Toppriorität der Aussenpolitik der PdAK und der Regierung der DVRK.

Der Sozialismus sei das gemeinsame Ideal beider Länder.

Die PdAK und die Regierung der DVRK würden die Innen- und Aussenpolitik Chinas unterstützen und das "Ein-China"-Prinzip verteidigen.

Auch die Aussenministerin der DVRK, Choe Son Hui, traf mit ihrem chinesischen Amtskollegen zu Gesprächen zusammen, an denen auch der Vizeaussenminister Kim Myong Su teilnahm.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Meets Chinese FM

Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, met Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and foreign minister of the People's Republic of China, on a visit to the DPRK, on April 10.

Present there was Kim Song Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee and director of its International Department.

Also present were Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and Hua Chunying, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC.

Comrade Kim Jong Un gladly received Wang Yi and exchanged warm greetings and had a talk with him in a comradely atmosphere.

At the talk, Wang Yi courteously conveyed the warm greetings from Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and president of the PRC, to Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed deep thanks for it and asked the Chinese foreign minister to convey his greetings to Comrade Xi Jinping.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it is important for the DPRK and China to further intensify the visits and contacts at different levels and boost mutual support and cooperation for the protection of the common interests and the multi-faceted and sustained development of the bilateral relations, in view of the present international geopolitical situation and the long-term strategic interests of the two countries. And he expressed the stand of the WPK and the DPRK government on the issues of regional and international situation of mutual concern.

Wang Yi expressed the steadfast stand of the Chinese party and government to successfully develop the China-DPRK friendly relations, which have greeted a new phase of development in accordance with the important common understanding reached at the summit meeting and talks between the top leaders of the two countries held in Beijing last September, in keeping with the desire and interests of the peoples of the two countries, and the view on the regional and international issues.

Affirming that it is the steadfast stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to place the greatest value on, give top priority to and further develop the DPRK-China friendly relations with socialism as their core, Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the WPK and the DPRK government would fully support all the internal and external policies of the Chinese party and government for realizing the territorial integrity of the country on the basis of the "one-China" principle and building a fair and just multi-polar world.

Comrade Kim Jong Un exchanged warm farewells with Wang Yi, wishing the Chinese party, government and people greater success in the course of accomplishing the cause of socialist modernization and national prosperity under the outstanding leadership of Comrade Xi Jinping.

 

Chinese FM and His Party Visit Cemetery of CPV Fallen Soldiers

Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and foreign minister of the People's Republic of China, and his party on a visit to the DPRK laid a flower basket at the Cemetery of the Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers in Kangdong County on April 10.

Accompanying them were Kim Myong Su, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.

The guards of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the cemetery.

The national anthems of the People's Republic of China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were played.

A flower basket in the name of the Chinese foreign minister and his party was placed at the monument to the cemetery.

Written on the ribbon of the flower basket were letters "The fallen soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers will be immortal".

The participants paid silent tribute to the CPV martyrs, who fought bravely in the sacred war to repel the invasion by the imperialist allied forces, and went round the cemetery.

DPRK Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Her Chinese Counterpart

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had talks with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and foreign minister of the People's Republic of China, at the Kumsusan State Guest House on Thursday.

Recalling that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and China are developing with vitality at a new high stage, under the important agreement reached by the top leaders of the two countries, Choe Son Hui expressed the stand of the DPRK government to further strengthen the DPRK-China friendship with the common idea of socialism as its cornerstone in conformity with the desire and interests of the peoples of the two countries.

Wang Yi noted that Comrade Xi Jinping and Comrade Kim Jong Un had a historic meeting and talks in Beijing last September and set forth the fundamental guidelines of landmark significance in putting the China-DPRK friendly relations on a new stage of development. And he said that it is the steadfast stand of the Chinese party and government to successfully defend, consolidate and develop the China-DPRK friendship no matter how the international situation may change.

The two sides agreed to further deepen the multi-faceted exchange and collaboration and boost the strategic communication and support and cooperation between the external policy organs of the two countries this year marking the 65th anniversary of the DPRK-China treaty on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Vice-Minister Kim Myong Su and other officials of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, and from the Chinese side were the entourage of the foreign minister and Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Wang Yajun.

 

DPRK Government Hosts Reception for Chinese FM

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea hosted a reception on Thursday evening for Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and foreign minister of the People's Republic of China, on a visit to the DPRK.

Invited to the reception were the entourage of the Chinese foreign minister and Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Wang Yajun and his embassy officials.

Present were Choe Son Hui, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and foreign minister of the DPRK, and officials of the Foreign Ministry.

Choe Son Hui made a speech at the reception.

Warmly welcoming Wang Yi and his party on behalf of the DPRK government, she said that the visit is a manifestation of the firm stand of the Chinese party and government to revitalize the high-level visits and communication between the two sides and further consolidate the ties of friendship by thoroughly implementing the important agreement reached at the historic DPRK-China summit meeting and talks held last September.

It is the consistent policy of the WPK and the DPRK government to value and steadily develop the friendly relations with China, which have given steady continuity to the good traditions of unity and cooperation with socialism as their core, overcoming all the tempests of history, she said.

She wished the Chinese people fresh and bigger successes in the struggle for accomplishing the cause of national prosperity by stepping up the Chinese-style modernization under the leadership of the CPC with Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping as its core.

Then, Wang Yi made a speech.

Expressing thanks for the warm hospitality, he said that the new successes made by the DPRK in socialist construction despite the ever-escalating moves of the U.S. and other Western forces to isolate and stifle it are the fruition of diligence and wisdom displayed by the Korean people under the wise leadership of Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Noting that the traditional China-DPRK friendship is a common precious asset as it was forged in the revolutionary struggle and has constantly developed in the course of socialist construction, he stressed that the historic meeting between Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping and Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un last September opened up a new phase of the China-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations.

He expressed the belief that the bilateral cooperation would further develop, sincerely hoping that the Korean people would achieve fresh victories ceaselessly in socialist construction and create a happier life under the firm leadership of the WPK headed by Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The participants in the reception toasted the health of the respected Comrade      Kim Jong Un and the esteemed Comrade Xi Jinping and the steady development and beautiful future of the invincible DPRK-China friendly relations.

The reception proceeded in a friendly and amicable atmosphere.

 

DPRK Defence Science Research Institutes Conduct Tests of Important Weapon Systems

Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Defence Science and the Missile Administration of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea conducted the tests of electromagnetic weapon system, carbon fiber sham bombs scattering, verifying combat reliability of mobile short-range anti-aircraft missile system and estimating combat application and power of cluster bomb warhead of tactical ballistic missile on April 6, 7 and 8.

The tests were guided by Full General Kim Jong Sik, member of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and first vice department director of the WPK Central Committee.

He said that the electromagnetic weapon and carbon fiber bomb are special assets of strategic nature to be combined with and applied to various military means in different spheres.

The Anti-Air Weapon System Research Bureau of the Missile Administration conducted a test to verify the combat reliability of the mobile short-range anti-aircraft missile system.

The Ballistic Missile System Institute and the Warhead Institute of the Missile Administration conducted a test of estimating the combat application and cluster munitions power of tactical ballistic missile warhead, and confirmed that the surface-to-surface tactical ballistic missile Hwasongpho-11 Ka tipped with the cluster bomb warhead can reduce to ashes any target covering an area of 6.5~7 hectares with the highest-density power.

There was a firing for testing the maximum workload of engine using low-cost materials.

The Missile Administration said that the above tests are of great significance in the development of the armed forces of the DPRK and are a part of the regular activities of the administration and its affiliated defence scientific research institutes to constantly develop and upgrade weapon systems.

Kim Yo Jong, Departementsdirektorin des Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK), gab am 6. April eine Presseerklärung ab.

Sie sagte, dass Ri Jae Myung, Präsident der ROK, am gleichen Tag bedauert habe, dass Drohnen der ROK in den Luftraum der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) eingedrungen seien und damit die militärischen Spannungen verschärft hätten.

Der Präsident der ROK habe versichert, dass Massnahmen zur Verhinderung von Wiederholungen eingeleitet würden.

Die Regierung der DVRK habe dies als eine sehr weise Entscheidung beurteilt.

Kim Yo Jong sagte: "Unser Staatsoberhaupt hat dies als Ausdruck des Verhaltens eines aufrichtigen und aufgeschlossenen Mannes kommentiert."

Wie Kim Yo Jong betonte, sollte die ROK im Interesse ihrer eigenen Sicherheit auf solche Anti-DVRK-Provokationen verzichten, anstatt Lippenbekenntnisse für Frieden und Sicherheit abzugeben.

Andernfals müsse die ROK einen hohen Preis dafür bezahlen.

Die Presseerklärung der Departementsdirektorin Kim Yo Jong, die wir voll und ganz unterstützen, ist eine unmissverständliche Warnung an die Adresse des ROK-Regimes.

Ri Jae Myung, der unserer Meinung nach auch ein naiver Mann ist, sollte die konzilianten Worte von Kim Yo Jong nicht missverstehen. Er scheint den Ernst der Lage nicht begriffen zu haben.

Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Department Director of C.C., WPK

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued the following press statement on April 6:

Lee Jae Myung, president of the ROK, said on April 6 that he felt sorry about causing unnecessary military tensions through an irresponsible and reckless act, as regards the ROK-borne drone's violation of the DPRK's airspace.

The ROK president personally expressed regret and talked about a measure for preventing recurrence. Our government appreciated it as a very fortunate and wise behavior for its own sake.

Our head of state commented it as a manifestation of frank and broad-minded man's attitude.

For its own security, the ROK side should stop any reckless provocation against the DPRK and refrain from any attempt at contact, instead of paying lip-service to the utmost importance of peace and security.

The ROK side should be mindful that it will be forced to pay a price too much for it, as already warned, if such a provocation as violating the inalienable sovereignty of our state occurs again.

 

Performances of Foreign Artistes Participating in 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival

Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- The 34th April Spring Friendship Art Festival is going on every day.

Artistes of different countries are staging songs of praising the peerlessly great men and art pieces of various themes on the stage of the festival.

Through male chorus revolutionary hymn "Ode to General Kim Jong Un" and other numbers, artistes of the Academy Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation showed well the boundless trust of the Russian people in the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who made contributions to the development of the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship and cooperation.

The National Dance Theatre of the "Cossacks of Russia" and the Ryazan State Academic People's Chorus Named after E. Popov artistically depicted the noble mental world, national emotion and romantic life of the Russian people, as befitting authorized art troupes.

The performance of Russian artistes who depicted Korean songs such as "Ardent Desire" and "Ardent Wish" with high artistic skill gave a deep impression to the audience.

Artistes of Chinese art troupe prepared and put on the stage such numbers as the mixed chorus immortal revolutionary hymn "Song of General Kim Il Sung" which ardently praised the exploits of the peerlessly great men and reflected the desire of the DPRK people.

The Song and Dance Ensemble of the Mongolian Army decorated the festival stage with female solo "Song about the Country", a song loved and enjoyed by the DPRK people.

The performances of artistes of different countries are revving up the festive atmosphere of Pyongyang greeting the April spring holiday.

 

KCNA Commentary on Japan's Dangerous Military Attempt

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- Against the backdrop of massive structural reorganization among the Japanese armed forces this spring, the "Space Operations Group" under the Air "Self-Defense Force" was recently raised to the status of the "Space Operations Squadron".

At the same time, the number of persons has increased more than twice.

A small unit in full charge of the space was formed in 2020, and the number of service personnel has increased dozens of times in just a few years. And its name and formation changed into the said names every two to three years, arousing a serious concern of the international community about the reality of the rapidly growing Japanese space force.

Not content with this, the "Space Operations Squadron" will become the "Space Operations Corps" within this year and the Japan Air "Self-Defense Force" will be reportedly renamed the aerospace "Self-Defense Force".

The rapid expansion of the space operations force cannot be seen merely as part of the structural reorganization of the expanded military force as a whole.

As recognized by the public at home and abroad, Japan has long laid legal, material and technical foundations with the ambition to expand the operations scope of the "Self-Defense Forces" into space.

Behind the deceptive "bill" on the use of space for peaceful purposes, Japan had been secretly conducting spy satellite research since the late 1970s. It adopted the "Basic Law on Space" in 2008 to allow military use of outer space under the signboard of "defense" and in 2012 it amended even the clause specifying that aerospace development shall be limited to the peaceful purpose, thus eliminating the legal obstacles hindering the weaponization of outer space.

In 2018, Japan officially declared space to be a new sphere of defense through the new "defense program" and "Midterm Defence Capability Buildup Outline", thus further consolidating the legal foundation for weaponization of outer space.

Japan has established an information gathering satellite system capable of monitoring the whole earth for 24 hours through spy satellites. And it has expanded into a force capable of fighting even a space war by equipping itself even with missile technology and missile interception system.

Against this backdrop, the Japanese reactionaries openly made bellicose remarks that "the exercise of the right to collective self-defense is possible even in space."

What merits more serious attention is that a neo-militarist force has recently become influential in the Japanese political circles, which encourages the ill-boding move to gain the position for preemptive attack even in outer space, while the deployment of the overall military muscle is being changed into an offensive form.

In July last year, the Japanese Defense Ministry adopted for the first time the "Guidelines for Defending Outer Space" for bolstering up the defense capability in outer space. Pulling up China and Russia over its satellite development as a threat to Japan, it clearly specified that it would accelerate the use of space for establishing the so-called "Stand-off Defense Capability" capable of attacking out of the enemy's range of fire.

At a meeting of the aerospace development strategy headquarters in December, it decided on a new process table of the space main plan stipulating that it shall conduct a verification test to cope with a hypersonic glide weapon in outer space, and engage in the launch of a satellite capable of grasping the trend of satellites of other countries.

This shows that the Japanese reactionaries are pushing ahead with the move to develop the space operations force into the one next to the ground, naval and air forces and into a typical preemptive attack force in order to hold a military edge in the outer space.

This is evidenced by the fact that the Japan Air "Self-Defense Force" has worked out an operations plan and staged actual drills for completing a military posture in space in separate drills or in U.S.-led bilateral and multilateral military drills in a few years.

Japan, a war criminal state deprived of the right to have an army, participate in a war and to belligerency, has turned the SDF into a full-fledged offensive force by challenging the international community. Not content with this, it is making desperate efforts to seize outer space as its sphere of activity. This reality clearly shows the dangerous ambition for reinvasion and endless belligerence of the reactionaries of the island country.

The international community is strictly watching Japan's reckless moves for weaponization of outer space that violates the calmness of the universe and the peace of the planet.

Der Sozialistische Patriotische Jugendverband (SPJV) hielt am 2. April die 17. erweiterte Plenartagung seines 10. Zentralkomitees ab.

An allen erweiterten Plenartagungen wurde über die Umsetzung der vom Vorsitzenden KIM JONG UN in seiner politischen Rede an der 1. Tagung der 15. Obersten Volksversammlung der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) am 23. März gesteckten Ziele debattiert und die Entschlossenheit ausgedrückt, diese zu erfüllen (siehe unser Kommuniqué vom 24. März).

Die Tagungen berieten auch über die Erfüllung des neuen Fünfjahrplans.

Alle Partei- und Volksorganisationen der DVRK halten nacheinander Plenartagungen ab, um über diese wichtigen Fragen der Zukunft des Aufbaus des Sozialismus zu beraten.

Präsident KIM IL SUNG, dessen 114. Geburtstag am diesjährigen 15. April gefeiert wird, entstammte einer patriotischen und revolutionären Familie.

Er wurde am 15. April 1912 in Mangyongdae bei Pyongyang geboren.

Alle seine Familienangehörigen und Verwandten, angefangen vom Urgrossvater, waren flammende und leidenschaftliche Patrioten, die für die Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit Koreas und für das Glück und Wohl des koreanischen Volkes kämpften.

Sein Urgrossvater Kim Ung U leitete im Jahre 1866 die Einwohner Mangyongdaes und Pyongyangs an, das auf dem Taedong-Fluss in Korea eingedrungene USA-Piratenschiff General Sherman zu versenken. Er leitete auch den Angriff auf das USA-Kriegsschiff Shenandoah an.

Der Grossvater Kim Po Hyon (1871-1955) und die Grossmutter Ri Po Ik (1876-1959) erzogen ihre Söhne und Enkel zum patriotischen Kampf gegen die japanischen Imperialisten, die Korea im Jahre 1910 unterworfen und versklavt hatten.

Der Vater KIm Hyong Jik (1894-1926) war ein Führer der antijapanischen nationalen Befreiungsbewegung Koreas, dessen Leitmotiv Jiwon (nach höchsten Zielen strebend) lautete.

Die Mutter Kang Pan Sok (1892-1932) war die Führerin der Frauenbewegung Koreas, die sie in die kommunistische Richtung führte.

Der Onkel Kim Hyong Gwon (1905-1936) und der jüngere Bruder Kim Chol Ju (1916-1935) kämpften heldenhaft und unerschrocken gegen die verhassten japanischen Okkupanten und gaben dafür ihr junges Leben.

Auch der Grossvater mütterlicherseits, Kang Ton Uk (1871-1943), und der Onkel mütterlicherseits, Kang Jin Sok (1890-1942) sowie der jüngere Vetter Kim Won Ju (1927-1957) waren antijapanische Kämpfer, letzterer auch ein Kämpfer gegen den USA-Imperialismus im Vaterländischen Befreiungskrieg (Korea-Krieg, 1950-1953).

Erzogen von seinen Eltern und Grosseltern, kämpfte Generalissimus KIM IL SUNG unermüdlich gegen die japanischen Imperialisten und für die Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit Koreas.

Er sagte dazu später:

"Ich wurde von klein auf von den Eltern zum Patriotismus erzogen und revolutionär beeinflusst. Ich suchte eifrig nach der Wahrheit und sah mit eigenen Augen die ungerechten und widerspruchsvollen gesellschaftlichen Erscheinungen. Dabei empfand ich Sympathie für das misshandelte Volk und Hass auf die Imperialisten und die Klasse der Grundbesitzer und Kapitalisten, die das Volk unterdrückten und ausbeuteten. Ich war fest entschlossen, mich das ganze Leben lang für die Befreiung und Freiheit des Volkes einzusetzen.

Mit dreizehn Jahren überquerte ich den Fluss Amnok, fest entschlossen, nicht eher zurückzukehren, bis Korea unabhängig ist. Damals sang ich das von einem Unbekannten geschriebene 'Lied vom Fluss Amnok' vor mich hin und dachte: Wann werde ich wieder diesen Boden betreten können, wann werde ich erneut in das Land zurückkehren, wo ich aufgewachsen bin und wo meine Vorfahren ihre letzte Ruhestätte gefunden haben? Bei diesem Gedanken presste sich mein kindliches Herz vor Trauer zusammen."

Kein anderer revolutionärer Führer der Menscheitsgeschichte kann auf eine derart alte und weit zurückreichende Familiengeschichte revolutionärer Tradition zurückblicken wie Präsident KIM IL SUNG.

Was seine Eltern und Grosseltern  sehnlichst gewünscht hatten - die Befreiung Koreas vom Kolonialjoch des japanischen Imperialismus -, verwirklichte der grosse Generalissimus KIM IL SUNG am 15. August 1945.

Präsident KIM IL SUNG wird vom koreanischen Volk zu recht als die Sonne Koreas und sein Geburtstag als Tag der Sonne gefeiert. Er hatte dem koreanischen Volk die strahlende Sonne der Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit gebracht.

Nachdem die japanischen Imperialisten im Jahre 1905 den illegalen Ulsa-5-Punkte-Vertrag zur kolonialen Versklavung und Unterwerfung Koreas fabriziert hatten, setzten sie im Jahre 1906 eine Generalresidenz in Korea ein.

Der erste Generalresident war Hirobumi Ito, ein berüchtigter und grausamer Eroberer und Feudalherr.

Die japanischen Imperialisten verboten den Koreanern den "freien Eintritt" in den Königspalast, um zu verhindern, dass diese sich beim König über die Okkupanten beschweren können.

Auf Befehl Hirobumi Itos wurden alle Koreaner, die patriotischen Widerstand gegen die japanischen Imperialisten leisteten, massakriert.

Nach den vier Jahren der Herrschaft des japanischen Generalresidenten kollabierte das feudale Joson (Korea) und wurde 1910 die faschistische Kolonialherrschaft Japans über Korea eingesetzt.

Damit begann die grausame Kolonialherrschaft des japanischen Imperialismus über Korea, die bis 1945 dauerte.

Schande über die Verbrechen Japans, des geschworenen Feindes der koreanischen Nation!

Eine erweiterte Plenartagung des Kabinetts-Komitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) fand am 1. April statt, um die Umsetzung der vom Vorsitzenden KIM JONG UN in seiner wichtigen politischen Rede an der 1. Tagung der 15. Obersten Volksversammlung der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) gesteckten Ziele zu beraten (siehe unser Kommuniqué vom 24. März).

An der Plenartagung nahmen Ministerpräsident Pak Thae Song, der erste Vizeministerpräsident Kim Tok Hun, Vizeministerpräsident Pak Jong Gun, der gleichzeitig Vorsitzender der Staatlichen Plankommission ist, und Ri Yong Sik, Chefsekretär des Kabinetts-Komitees der PdAK, sowie Mitglieder und alternierende Mitglieder des Zentralkomitees der PdAK teil.

Der von der Plenartagung einstimmig angenommene Beschluss rief alle Parteikomitees des Kabinetts, Ministerien und nationale Institutionen auf, die organisatorische und politische Arbeit für die Konsolidierung der politischen und ideologischen Einheit der ganzen Gesellschaft und des ganzen Volkes gut zu realisieren.

Der Beschluss rief ferner zur erfolgreichen Erfüllung des neuen Fünfjahrplans sowie zur Einhaltung des sozialistischen Lebensstils und der moralischen Disziplin auf.

Er unterstrich die Notwendigkeit der einheitlichen staatlichen Führung über die wirtschaftliche Arbeit.

Wir wünschen der PdAK und der Regierung der DVRK eine erfolgreiche Erfüllung der vom hochverehrten Vorsitzenden KIM JONG UN gesteckten Ziele und des neuen Fünfjahrplans.

des Schweizerischen Korea-Komitees und der Schweizerischen Juche-Ideologie-Studiengruppe zur Unterstützung der Presseerklärung des Sprechers des Aussenministeriums der DVR Korea zur Verurteilung der Anti-DVRK-"Menschenrechtsresolution" des UNO-Menschenrechtsrats

Ein Sprecher des Aussenministeriums der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) gab heute eine Presseerklärung ab, in der er gegen die Annahme einer Anti-DVRK-"Menschenrechtsresolution" des UNO-Menschenrechtsrats protestierte.

Diese "Resolution" sei illegal und ein falsches politisches Dokument voller Fälschungen und Verleumdungen.

Das Aussenministerium der DVRK weise diese "Resolution" als schwerwiegende politische Provokation, welche die Würde und Souveränität der DVRK verletze, in aller Schärfe zurück.

In der DVRK seien alle Rechte des Volkes vollumfänglich garantiert und geschützt.

Die Anti-DVRK-"Menschenrechtsresolutionen" der UNO-Gremien würden nicht die Meinungen der internationalen Gemeinschaft, welche die Gerechtigkeit und die Gleichberechtigung unterstützen, widerspiegeln.

Schon seit rund 20 Jahren würden in der UNO-Arena dauernd solche Anti-DVRK-"Menschenrechtsresolutionen" fabriziert.

Die Presseerklärung verurteilte die im Mittleren Osten von den Aggressoren begangenen Massaker, die die Massaker des Zweiten Weltkrieges in den Schatten stellten und denen Hunderte von Kindern, die besonderen Schutzes bedürften, zum Opfer gefallen seien.

Wie der Aussenministeriums-Sprecher weiter betonte, werde die DVRK die Würde und Souveränität des Staates sowie die Rechte und Interessen ihres Volkes verteidigen.

Die DVRK werde den Frieden, das Wohl und das Lebensrecht ihres Volkes verteidigen.

Auch wir betonen mit Nachdruck, dass es in der DVRK  kein "Menschenrechtsproblem" gibt. Sämtliche Menschenrechte des Volkes, einschliesslich der Rede-, Versammlung- und Religionsfreiheit, sind garantiert und geschützt.

Wir verurteilen mit Zorn und Empörung die unverschämte, kriminelle und illegale Anti-DVRK-"Menschenrechtsresolution" des von feindlichen Kräften gekauften UNO-Menschenrechtsrats. Hinter diesen verleumderischen Schmutz- und Lügenkampagnen steht der Imperialismus, der das sozialistische Korea zerschlagen will. Doch das wird ihm niemals gelingen.

Die UNO-Gremien sollten stattdessen die himmelschreienden Verbrechen der USA-Imperialisten und der israelischen Zionisten an den Völkern Irans und Palästinas anprangern und verurteilen. Das wäre notwendig und gerecht.

Schluss mit allen Anti-DVRK-"Menschenrechts"-Kampagnen!

Für die Verurteilung der Verbrechen der USA und Israels in Iran und Palästina!

Press Statement of DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesperson

Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea issued the following press statement on Thursday:

Shortly ago, the UN Human Rights Council adopted another illegal "resolution" malignantly pulling up the DPRK over its human rights situation.

The "resolution", cooked up actively by those countries habituated to inveterate repugnancy toward the DPRK, is a political fraud document full of false data that totally distorted the DPRK's policy for ensuring genuine human rights and its actual situation.

The DPRK Foreign Ministry brands the adoption of this anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" as a grave political provocation to the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK and denounces and rejects it in the strongest tone.

In the DPRK where the state has promoted the people's rights and well-being in an entirely responsible manner, genuine human rights are guaranteed in full accord with the independent demand and interests of the working masses.

The "human rights" racket, frequently kicked up at the UN arena by the hostile forces obsessed with prejudice and malignant viewpoint on the DPRK, does never represent the mindset of the international community aspiring after justice and equality. And the selective human rights discussion system targeting individual countries is a hostile act contrary to the spirit of the UN Charter which stipulates the principles of sovereignty equality and non-interference in internal affairs.

The practice of adopting such anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" which has lasted for 20-odd years is epitome fully showing the deplorable present situation of the UN human rights arena extremely polluted by politicization, selectivity and double standards.

The urgent task facing the UN Human Rights Council at present is to thoroughly investigate the hideous unethical crimes caused by the hegemonic forces' state-sponsored terrorism and infringement upon sovereignty and take practical measures for calling them to account.

In the Middle East, massacres are being committed one after another to put the crimes against humanity committed during the Second World War into the shade. Even, more than a hundred of children, to be specially protected in any case, became the targets of precisely guided weapons to be killed. Such a tragedy has been a daily occurrence in that region.

The cold reality, in which the international law and norms and order are mercilessly violated and the encroachment on national sovereignty is led to human rights abuses due to the hegemonic forces' ambition for aggression, implants deep in the world people the iron truth that to defend the national sovereignty precisely means the defending of human rights.

The DPRK remains unchanged in its stand to defend in every way the dignity and sovereignty of the state and the rights and interests of the people from any threat and smear campaign of the hostile forces.

The recent malicious behavior of those countries, who were involved in slandering and insulting the most popular and righteous state and social system of the DPRK while blindly following the hostile forces, will be surely taken into account.

The DPRK will as ever remain faithful to its responsibility and mission to thoroughly guarantee the peace, wellbeing and genuine right to life of its people.

Das Zentralkomitee der Generalföderation der Gewerkschaften Koreas (GFGK) richtete am 30. März einen Appell an die Arbeiterklasse und die Gewerkschaftsmitglieder der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) mit dem Titel Lasst uns den starken Geist der heldenhaften koreanischen Arbeiterklasse für den geheiligten Kampf für die umfassende Entwicklung des Sozialismus voll demonstrieren und das grosse Vertrauen des Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas als Lebensnerv wertschätzen!

Der Appell ruft alle Arbeiter und Gewerkschaftsmitglieder der DVRK auf, den vom 9. Parteitag der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) angenommenen Fünfjahrplan zu erfüllen.

Der Appell richtet sich namentlich an die Arbeiter der Metallindustrie, der chemischen Industrie, der Elektro- und Kohlenindustrie, des Eisenbahnwesens, der Leichtindustrie und der Fischereiindustrie mit dem Aufruf, auf ihrem jeweiligen Fachgebiet gute Leistungen zu vollbringen und die patriotische Idee und Erwartung des hochverehrten Generalsekretärs KIM JONG UN zu erfüllen.

Im Appell wird die Ueberzeugung geäussert, dass die Ideale und das Streben des koreanischen Volkes bestimmt wahr werden und der neue Fünfjahrplan erfüllt wird, wenn der hochverehrte Genosse KIM JONG UN, der unvergleichliche grosse Mann, als oberster Führer der Partei und des Staates in höchsten Ehren gehalten wird. 

Wir unterstützen und begrüssen den patriotischen Appell des Zentralkomitees der GFGK an die Arbeiterklasse und die Gewerkschaftsmitglieder der DVRK und wünschen seiner Erfüllung einen vollen Erfolg.

Für die Erfüllung des neuen Fünfjahrplans!

Jahrestages der Wahl des grossen Führers Genossen KIM JONG IL zum Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Verteidigungskomitees der DVR Korea

Vor 33 Jahren, am 9. April 1993, wurde der grosse Führer Genosse KIM JONG IL zum Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Verteidigungskomitees (NVK) der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) gewählt.

Mit dieser historischen Wahl brachten die Partei, die Streitkräfte und das Volk ihr grenzenloses Vertrauen in ihn zum Ausdruck.

Der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL half dem Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG bei der Leitung der militärischen Angelegenheiten, die zur Priorität erklärt wurden.

Mit seiner Militärbevorzugungs-Politik (Songun) stärkte der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL die Streitkräfte der DVRK und baute sie zur uneinnehmbaren Festung aus.

Er schuf die Grundlagen für den Aufbau der atomaren Abschreckungsmacht, mit der die USA-Imperialisten von einer weiteren Aggression gegen die DVRK abgehalten wurden.

Er wurde nach seinem Ableben (17. Dezember 2011) auf Veranlassung des hochverehrten Marschalls KIM JONG UN zum ewigen Vorsitzenden des NVK der DVRK proklamiert.

Damit wurden seine unsterblichen Verdienste um die militärische Stärke und Verteidigungsmacht des sozialistischen Korea gepriesen.

Ruhm und Ehre dem grossen Führer Genossen KIM JONG IL, dem ewigen Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Verteidigungskomitees der DVR Korea!
