Unprecedented Order of Supreme Commander
One day in January 2014, the respected General Secretary
He said that the aim of his visit was to discuss the possibility of providing fish to all the baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes in the country.
Stressing it is the firm determination and will of the Workers' Party of Korea to make all the orphans grow up happily and healthily as successors to the revolution and backbones of the revolution without knowing the sorrow of having no parents, he calculated in his pocketbook how many fishes should be supplied to them in a year if each of them eats 300 grams of fish per day.
He said that the KPA should take charge of the work to supply fish to the baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes all the year round. And he issued on the spot an order of the KPA Supreme Commander on setting up a KPA fishery station in charge of the fish supply exclusively for them.
Noting that the fishery station should be built into a model one with the highest level, he chose the site for the station and the design and construction units and took all measures to supply materials and equipment, recruit fishermen and provide fishing boats and fishing tackle.
The story about the order issued by the Supreme Commander on the spot while looking round a fish-freezing facility on the distant shore is a legendary story of love that could be created only in our socialist country led by the father of the people. -0-

In the aftermath of unprecedented rainfall on July 27, which caused the Yalu River to exceed dangerous levels, around 5,000 residents faced the imminent risk of flooding in several areas. Leader KIM JONG UN took personal command of the rescue and evacuation efforts, overseeing the deployment of rescue units and military personnel.
Leader KIM JONG UN's relentless oversight included multiple helicopter flights under challenging conditions to ensure the safe evacuation of residents. The successful rescue of over 200 individuals was met with profound gratitude from the affected populace. Kim Jong Un praised the aviation units for their extraordinary efforts, highlighting their swift and effective response as a testament to the strength and pride of our military.
