Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to Russian President
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a reply message to Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, on September 14.
The message said:
Comrade Vladimir Putin, dear friend of the Korean people,
All the Korean people and I express deep thanks to you for your warm congratulations on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea that gave boundless encouragement.
Today the two countries and peoples of the DPRK and Russia are continuously writing a new biography of the great history of alliance, consolidating the faith and unity and protecting justice and peace together in the face of the uneven historical storm.
Steadfast without doubt is the will of mine and the DPRK government to expand and deepen in an overall way the common work with the Russian Federation, proceeding from the shared understanding of the rosy future of the DPRK-Russia relations based on the tradition of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual assistance and the solid relations of alliance between the two countries.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to President of PRC
Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a reply message to Comrade Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, on Sept. 12.
The message said:
Esteemed Comrade General Secretary,
I express deep thanks to you for sending warm congratulations and sincere wishes on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Your warm congratulations and best wishes serve as great strength and encouragement to all the members of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK people who are making all-out efforts to usher in a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation, regarding socialism as their faith.
We will always join hands with the Chinese comrades in the course of firmly defending and advancing the common cause of socialism and better cultivating, strengthening and developing the traditional DPRK-China relations of friendship and cooperation in conformity with the requirements of the new era and the aspirations and wishes of the peoples of the two countries.

Joint Firepower Attack Drill of Long-range Artillery and Missile Units of Combined Units at All Levels of KPA Held
Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- A joint firepower attack drill of long-range artillery and missile units of the combined units at all levels of the Korean People's Army took place on Sept. 12.
KPA Marshal Pak Jong Chon, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Major General Yu Chang Son, director of the Artillery Bureau of the General Staff of the KPA, guided the joint firepower attack drill.
Subunits selected from the five artillery and missile joint units participated in the drill. The drill involved new combat systems such as attack drones of various kinds, tactical cruise missile, large-caliber thermal-pressure multiple rocket launcher and tactical ballistic missile.
Marshal Pak Jong Chon said that the drill is aimed at making the army do what it should do.
Director of the Artillery Bureau Yu Chang Son said that it is one of the training tasks prioritized by the army to get familiar with the procedure for the operation of the integrated firepower control system, the systematic component of the strategic weapons combined management system, improve the specialty of the integrated automatic firepower control of various combat systems and increase the efficiency of destroying the targets with concentrated fire.
He also stressed that such drills are very helpful to qualitatively enhancing the strategic counteraction posture of striking units at all levels and acquiring the rapid reaction capabilities of sub-units at all levels in case of emergency.
He said that the joint concentrated fire drill of the major missile subunits and the long-range artillery subunits would boost the militant morale of the soldiers and improve the level of specialization to bring down the enemy's armed forces organizationally and structurally once an order is issued. We will, in the future, too, steadily master the procedures for counterattack posture on the enemy through practical drills, he added.
All strike weapon systems demonstrated the huge destructive power of concentration fire by hitting the targets with 100 percent hit accuracy at a stroke, ensuring the unity and simultaneity of firepower attack.
DPRK Team Advances to Round of 16 for 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup is under way in Poland.
The DPRK team belonging to Group E beat the Portuguese team 2:0 and the Costa Rican team 4:0 and played the last group league match with the Colombian team on Sept. 13 (local time).
The DPRK team beat the Colombian team 3:0.
As a result, the DPRK team scored nine points in total to take the first place in the group and advanced to the Round of 16.
