Das Zentralkomitee der Generalföderation der Gewerkschaften Koreas (GFGK) richtete am 30. März einen Appell an die Arbeiterklasse und die Gewerkschaftsmitglieder der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) mit dem Titel Lasst uns den starken Geist der heldenhaften koreanischen Arbeiterklasse für den geheiligten Kampf für die umfassende Entwicklung des Sozialismus voll demonstrieren und das grosse Vertrauen des Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas als Lebensnerv wertschätzen!

Der Appell ruft alle Arbeiter und Gewerkschaftsmitglieder der DVRK auf, den vom 9. Parteitag der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) angenommenen Fünfjahrplan zu erfüllen.

Der Appell richtet sich namentlich an die Arbeiter der Metallindustrie, der chemischen Industrie, der Elektro- und Kohlenindustrie, des Eisenbahnwesens, der Leichtindustrie und der Fischereiindustrie mit dem Aufruf, auf ihrem jeweiligen Fachgebiet gute Leistungen zu vollbringen und die patriotische Idee und Erwartung des hochverehrten Generalsekretärs KIM JONG UN zu erfüllen.

Im Appell wird die Ueberzeugung geäussert, dass die Ideale und das Streben des koreanischen Volkes bestimmt wahr werden und der neue Fünfjahrplan erfüllt wird, wenn der hochverehrte Genosse KIM JONG UN, der unvergleichliche grosse Mann, als oberster Führer der Partei und des Staates in höchsten Ehren gehalten wird. 

Wir unterstützen und begrüssen den patriotischen Appell des Zentralkomitees der GFGK an die Arbeiterklasse und die Gewerkschaftsmitglieder der DVRK und wünschen seiner Erfüllung einen vollen Erfolg.

Jahrestages der Wahl des grossen Führers Genossen KIM JONG IL zum Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Verteidigungskomitees der DVR Korea

Vor 33 Jahren, am 9. April 1993, wurde der grosse Führer Genosse KIM JONG IL zum Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Verteidigungskomitees (NVK) der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) gewählt.

Mit dieser historischen Wahl brachten die Partei, die Streitkräfte und das Volk ihr grenzenloses Vertrauen in ihn zum Ausdruck.

Der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL half dem Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG bei der Leitung der militärischen Angelegenheiten, die zur Priorität erklärt wurden.

Mit seiner Militärbevorzugungs-Politik (Songun) stärkte der Vorsitzende KIM JONG IL die Streitkräfte der DVRK und baute sie zur uneinnehmbaren Festung aus.

Er schuf die Grundlagen für den Aufbau der atomaren Abschreckungsmacht, mit der die USA-Imperialisten von einer weiteren Aggression gegen die DVRK abgehalten wurden.

Er wurde nach seinem Ableben (17. Dezember 2011) auf Veranlassung des hochverehrten Marschalls KIM JONG UN zum ewigen Vorsitzenden des NVK der DVRK proklamiert.

Damit wurden seine unsterblichen Verdienste um die militärische Stärke und Verteidigungsmacht des sozialistischen Korea gepriesen.

Ruhm und Ehre dem grossen Führer Genossen KIM JONG IL, dem ewigen Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Verteidigungskomitees der DVR Korea!

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Oversees Ground Jet Test of High-Thrust Carbon Fiber Solid-Fuel Engine

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, oversaw a ground jet test of high-thrust solid-fuel engine using the composite carbon fiber material.

The maximum thrust of the newly upgraded solid-fuel engine is 2 500kN and the test is a part of the national defence development plan in the period of the new five-year plan which set the steady upgrading of strategic strike means as a major goal.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by Jo Chun Ryong, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK.

He referred to the strategic significance of the upgraded engine's test.

He said that the test of great significance in putting the country's strategic military muscle on the highest level fully conforms with the national strategy and the military demand for modernizing the strategic forces.

He affirmed that the development trend of the DPRK's defence capabilities, which has already entered a significant phase of change in the building of the strategic forces, would be further transformed and accelerated by the development and introduction of better components with superior economic and technical effectiveness as proven in the test.

He referred to the major tasks for further stepping up the development of the state strategic forces both in quality and quantity.

Present there were Kim Jong Sik, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Jang Chang Ha, general director of the Missile Administration of the DPRK, officials of the Missile Administration and the missile research sector and scientists, technicians and officials of the relevant sector including the Institute of Solid-fuel Engine and the Missile Engine Production Factory.

 

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Oversees Test Organized by Armored Weapons Institute of Academy of Defence Sciences

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, oversaw a test of assessing the tank performance organized by the Armored Weapons Institute of the Academy of Defence Sciences.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed great satisfaction over the relevant test as it served as an occasion to show well how excellent our new-type MBT is and how dependable combat means it is through actual action, not words.

He said today's test proved that the functionality of our new-type MBT's interceptor system is fully equipped with a thorough capability for destroying almost all existing anti-tank means.

Commenting on the new-type MBT which demonstrated remarkable combat performance, he said it has been confirmed again that there is no doubt in our view, already declared, that no tank in the world is comparable to this tank.

The test, conducted in various aspects on the day to check the active protection system of the new-type MBT, examined in detail the combat effectiveness of the protection system against anti-tank means attacking in different directions and confirmed the perfect defensive function with 100 percent probability.

 

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Acquaints Himself with Training of Special Operations Sub-units at All Levels of KPA

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the special operations training base directly under the authority of the Operations Bureau of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army to acquaint himself with the training of special operations sub-units at all levels.

The training base was overflowing with the high spirit of combatants of special operations sub-units, full of ardent mind to give pleasure and satisfaction to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ceaselessly visiting the frontline posts for bolstering up the military capabilities to defend the security of the state and the people, through demonstration of the strongest fighting efficiency.

Kim Jong Un was greeted on the spot by No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Ri Yong Gil, chief of the KPA General Staff, Kim Song Gi, director of the KPA General Political Bureau, and other military and political commanding officers of the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence and all services and large combined units.

All the participants broke into enthusiastic cheers, looking up to the ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander who is ushering in a great heyday of building a powerful army with his outstanding military strategic ideology and extraordinary commanding art.

The training of the day was aimed at estimating the capabilities of physical and military action of the combatants of special operations sub-units at all levels.

The training was observed by major leading officials of the Party and the government.

The special operations sub-units of services and large combined units at all levels, which have further strengthened the matchless combat efficiency, leaving vivid footprints of loyalty and patriotism in the difficult and arduous training course, true to the Party's training-first policy, fully displayed their crack-shot marksmanship and military technical and physical ability in a competitive way.

Kim Jong Un said that our army at all levels should get fully prepared in conformity with the trend of modern warfare by thoroughly implementing and applying the Juche-oriented policy of bringing about a radical turn in training, well aware of the iron truth that much more sweat in the peacetime training leads to less blood in the battlefield.

He expressed his views on the programme for reorganizing the special operations forces of our army, to be implemented in the future, and the follow-up measures.

On the same day, there was a demonstration performance of ace combatants of special operations sub-units.

The soldiers in the demonstration performance strikingly showed the physical and technical ability they have prepared to be a-match-for-a hundred combatants with iron fists.

While watching with pleasure the training of women special warfare soldiers full of self-confidence, Kim Jong Un warmly encouraged them.

The leading officials extended warm applause and high praise to the soldiers, watching their training pulsating with the fighting spirit and heroic stamina of our invincible army to unconditionally annihilate the enemy.

Expressing great satisfaction at the absolute might and dauntless courage of the special operations forces, the pivotal component of the KPA reliably defending the sovereignty of the DPRK and the wellbeing of its people, Kim Jong Un had a meaningful photo taken with the reliable and admirable officers and soldiers.

At the end of the photo session, the passionate guards broke into thunderous cheers of absolute loyalty in token of their will to devotedly defend the Party Central Committee headed by Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un expressed belief that our army at all levels, directly entrusted with the task of fighting a war as the main force of national defence, would as ever remain faithful to the sacred mission of defending the country, the revolution and the people and reliably guarantee the victorious advance of our country and our cause with the powerful military strength.

 

Agreement on Cooperation between KCNA and TASS Signed

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- An agreement on exchange of news articles and cooperation between the Korean Central News Agency and TASS was signed here on March 28.

Present at the signing ceremony from the DPRK side were Kim Pyong Ho, general director of the Korean Central News Agency, and officials concerned, and from the Russian side a delegation of TASS led by its Director General Andrei Kondrashov and Vladimir Topeha, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Russian embassy here, and staff members of his embassy.

Kim Pyong Ho and Andrei Kondrashov signed the agreement.

Ein Abkommen über den Austausch von Nachrichtenartikeln und die Kooperation zwischen der Koreanischen Zentralen Nachrichtenagentur (Korean Central News Agency - KCNA, www.kcna.kp) und der russischen Nachrichtenagentur TASS wurde am 28. März in Pyongyang unterzeichnet.

Kim Pyong Ho, Generaldirektor der KCNA, und Andrej Kondraschow, Generaldirektor der TASS, unterzeichneten das Abkommen.

Das Kooperationsabkommen ist ein wichtiger Beitrag zur Konsolidierung und Festigung der Freundschaft und Solidarität zwischen der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) und der Russischen Föderation.

Mit dem Abkommen wird dem imperialistischen Propagandakrieg gegen beide Länder die Stirn geboten.

Talks Held between Kim Jong Un, President of State Affairs of DPRK, and Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of Republic of Belarus

Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between DPRK and Belarus Signed

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had talks with Comrade Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, on an official visit to the DPRK, on March 26.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Choe Son Hui, minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Song Nam, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Tok Hun, first vice-premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations, and Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs.

Present from the Belarusian side were Yuri Shuleiko, deputy prime minister of the government of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, minister of Foreign Affairs, Aleksandr Khodzhayev, minister of Public Health, Andrei Ivanets, minister of Education, and Andrei Kuznetsov, minister of Industry.

Welcoming Aleksandr Lukashenko who is visiting the DPRK for the first time since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, Kim Jong Un expressed support to and solidarity with the policy of the Belarusian leadership for achieving the socio-political stability and economic development of the country and defending the sovereign right in the international arena.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un for kindly inviting him to visit Pyongyang and said that although the two countries are geographically far apart, the bilateral relations based on the long-standing traditions of friendship and common feelings have entered a new development stage today.

The talks discussed a series of plans for boosting exchange and cooperation in various fields including high-level visits between the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus and exchanged opinions on international and regional issues of mutual concern.

Expressing satisfaction with the meeting and the talks, the top leaders of the two countries expressed belief that the bilateral cooperative relations between Pyongyang and Minsk would grow stronger in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

At the end of the talks, the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Belarus was signed with due ceremony.

Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, together with Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, signed the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Belarus.

Kim Jong Un had a meaningful photo taken with Aleksandr Lukashenko in commemoration of the conclusion of the inter-state treaty between the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus.

And then the two sides signed agreements on cooperation in various fields including diplomacy, information, agriculture, education and public health.

Aleksandr Lukashenko presented a gift to Kim Jong Un in commemoration of his visit to the DPRK.

Kim Jong Un expressed thanks for it and handed over the gift he prepared to Aleksandr Lukashenko.

 

Reception Given in Welcome of Belarusian President

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, hosted a reception on March 26 in welcome of the visit of Comrade Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, to the DPRK.

Present at the reception on invitation were Yuri Shuleiko, deputy prime minister of the government of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, minister of Foreign Affairs, Aleksandr Khodzhayev, minister of Public Health, Andrei Ivanets, minister of Education, Andrei Kuznetsov, minister of Industry, and other suite members.

Kim Jong Un made a speech in welcome of Aleksandr Lukashenko's visit to the DPRK.

He appreciated that the visit of President Aleksandr Lukashenko to the DPRK serves as a step of important significance in putting the traditional relations of friendship between the DPRK and Belarus on a new high stage.

He said that he was pleased to confirm the will of the leaderships of the two countries to further boost and develop the bilateral relations of friendship and get the confidence that they can do many things beneficial to promoting the prosperity and development of the two countries and the wellbeing of the two peoples in the future, through the meeting and talks of today.

Aleksandr Lukashenko made a reply speech.

He extended thanks to Kim Jong Un for inviting him to visit the beautiful DPRK and according warm hospitality to the delegation of the Republic of Belarus.

Saying that the friendly relations between the two countries are now developing in a very fast speed, he added that through the visit, the Republic of Belarus and the DPRK agreed on boosting efforts to expand and intensify the comprehensive cooperation with each other and the leaderships of the two countries confirmed that they have the same opinion on international affairs.

The participants in the reception toasted the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus.

The reception proceeded in an amicable and warm atmosphere.

 

Belarusian President Leaves Pyongyang

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Comrade Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, left here by his private plane on March 26 after paying an official visit to the DPRK at the invitation of Comrade Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron of Pyongyang International Airport where the national flags of the two countries were fluttering.

Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, came to the airport to see off the president of the Republic of Belarus.

Seen at the airport were Jo Yong Won, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Kim Jae Ryong, Ri Il Hwan and Kim Song Nam, secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, Kim Tok Hun, first vice-premier of the Cabinet, and Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs.

Kim Jong Un greeted Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The Belarusian president exchanged farewells with senior officials of the DPRK.

He expressed his heartfelt thanks for the warm hospitality Kim Jong Un and the government and people of the DPRK accorded during his visit.

Kim Jong Un exchanged warm farewells with Aleksandr Lukashenko, wishing him good health and greater success in the state affairs and the friendly Belarusian people happiness.

The private plane carrying the Belarusian president took off amid warm send-off.
