National Farm Machine Exhibition and Meeting of Inventors Held
A
national farm machine exhibition and meeting of inventors took place in
Sukchon County, South Phyongan Province between Sept. 4 and 6.
On
display at the exhibition were more than 220 types of farm machines,
tractors, spare parts of farm implements and jigs and equipment of 74
kinds contrived and manufactured by officials, scientists, technicians
and working people in the field of agriculture.
Drawing
the attention of visitors were Chollima tractor which realized rice
chaff gasification, well-nourished rice seedling transplanter,
hand-driven rice-seedling digger, motor-driven weeding machine in paddy
fields, multipurpose harvester, pedal sprayer, rice harvesting combine
and deep layer plough, etc.
The
inventors' meeting exchanged the achievements and experience gained in
the course of contriving, manufacturing and introducing efficient farm
machines helpful to developing the country's agriculture and discussed
scientific and technological issues arising in agricultural production.
