Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Myong Chol, a commentator on international affairs of the DPRK, issued the following article titled "The present external crisis facing the U.S. reflects the failed domestic and foreign policies of its administration":
Shortly ago, Jake Sullivan, national security advisor of the White House, made public a contribution of the policy "achievements" of the Biden administration.
The contribution noted that the U.S. political situation which had been disturbed after the present U.S. administration took office was put right and the U.S. influence in the international arena began to recover. It is clear to everyone that this contribution is aimed to emphasize that its domestic and foreign policies are "successful".
No one will sympathize with this assertion if he knows the situation and result of the U.S. domestic and foreign policies to a certain degree except officials of the present U.S. administration.
It is three years since the present U.S. administration took office, but the political and economic confusion in the U.S. has reached an extreme and the negative influence caused by the reactionary foreign policies of the U.S. is so serious that it can hardly judge the scale.
First of all, the economic situation in the U.S. which Sullivan reckoned as the biggest achievement of Biden is getting darker with each passing day.
This year alone, large banks such as Silicon Valley Bank and First Republic Bank went bankrupt one after another and shortly ago, the U.S. automobile trade union launched a strike against three large auto industrial complexes, including General Motors.
Against this backdrop, on August 1, the White House and the secretary of Treasury staged a tragic farce which had to turn out in placating public opinion as the international credit assessment institution Fitch Ratings estimated the U.S. credit rating to its lowest level for the first time in 12 years as regards state debt and even suggested the possibility of domestic economic stagnation.
More than 50 percent of respondents in the recent U.S. opinion polls are severely criticizing the economic policy of the Biden administration, saying that its economy has become more difficult. Increased inflation rate, rising prices and lack of state response are becoming an endemic disease of the U.S. economy.
Next, the vulnerability of industrial foundations to support the U.S. military muscle is fully revealed.
Due to the persistent deterioration of the U.S. economy, the Congress has reduced or postponed the defense budget required by the Ministry of Defense and the development of arms and equipment of the U.S. military and the plan for producing munitions faced not a few difficulties.
Military experts of the U.S. hardly concealed their concern over the reduction of the munitions production capacity of the U.S., saying that the defense budget is not keeping pace with increasing inflation rate.
According to a report by the U.S. Department of Defense, the life of ammunition-producing infrastructures in the U.S. is usually over 80 years, and most of ammunitions are produced at buildings and facilities used in the Second World War.
After the U.S provided more than 1 400 Stinger portable anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine, missile production has stopped due to the shortage of spare parts and, as a result, delivery to Taiwan and other countries has been delayed. This is just a short story showing the poor military industry of the U.S.
It is by no means fortuitous that a member of the U.S. House of Representatives compared the present situation to the period of 1957 when the former Soviet Union launched the first artificial satellite Sputnik 1, saying that the limitations of the existing U.S. weapons production capacity was revealed due to the Ukrainian situation and that it has been fully proved that how fragile and unstable the supply chain is.
All these are a natural result of the reckless arms support moves of the U.S. administration to its allies with the purpose to maintain its hegemonic position while advocating the advantage of strength.
What is more weighty is that the reactionary alliance policy which the present U.S. administration praises becomes a main factor driving the U.S. into a strategic dilemma.
The Ukrainian situation which has been making the U.S. spend up its state coffer is an inevitable product of the reckless schemes of the present U.S. administration for tightening relations with allies.
The U.S. which rendered distinguished service to the outbreak of the Ukrainian situation with NATO's reckless policy of advance to the East is spending an astronomical amount of money under the pretext of aiding the ally but it was a foolish option like pouring water into a bottomless jar.
The U.S. has offered military support worth about 46.6 billion US dollars, but the Ukrainian army's counterattack ended in an advertisement and the U.S. has become unable to pull itself out of the mire that it fell in crying out for tightening its alliance.
Against this backdrop, the Middle East policy of the U.S. to establish an alliance in the region against anti-U.S. independent countries including Iran while pursuing the one-sided policy for Israel under the pretext of "peace in the Middle East" has driven its situation floundering in Ukrainian situation into a greater dilemma by sparking an armed conflict.
The move for tightening the U.S.-Japan-puppet south Korea triangular military alliance which Sullivan lauded as the present U.S. administration's distinguished achievement this time, is a potential factor which can put the situation on the Korean peninsula into an uncontrollable phase.
It is reasonable that the international community is predicting that the U.S. may bear a strategic burden hard to remove if the situation on the Korean peninsula gets worse following the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East.
The relations between the U.S. and its allies are also heading for the point of explosion with irreconcilable contradiction.
The sudden withdrawal of the U.S. forces from Afghanistan, the establishment of AUKUS which drove a knife on the back of France, the increase of uneasiness of Europe and puppet south Korea due to the adoption of the "Inflation Reduction Act" and other instances that the Biden administration has damaged the interests of its allies are countless.
As the reality shows, the U.S. status is eroding, not recovering, and its national power is declining, not growing strong.
This is the present address of the U.S.
As Sullivan eagerly disregarded such situation, he praised himself in his contribution that the Middle East region has become more stable thanks to the efforts of the Biden administration but he was under a pelting rain of kicks and blows of media and became a butt for ridicule of the international community after a large-scale armed conflict broke out in only five days.
The status of the U.S. is not defined by an individual's opinion but judged by the world public.
The international community is vividly seeing the empire of evils going to ruin inside and outside and became further convinced of it through the contribution of Sullivan.
The more the U.S. talks about "leadership", the more horrible "destructive force" it will be, and it will plunge the world into a greater mess.

Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- A commentator Kim Yun Mi on Wednesday published the following article titled "It will act as 'detonator' of the end of the 'Republic of Korea'":
The decision that the "law on the prohibition of scattering leaflets against the north" is unconstitutional has been forcibly adopted and the procedure for repealing the "guidelines" related to it is being stepped up in the region of south Korean puppets.
The "defectors from the north", who did not hesitate to commit even violence in defiance to the public mindset against the leaflet scattering, are openly touring the area along the Military Demarcation Line while blaring that "there is no reason that they should not fly balloons with leaflets against the north" and that "the scattering of leaflets will be revitalized from the next year's spring when the north wind turns to the south wind."
What is clear is that terming the anti-DPRK leaflet scattering of human scum the "actions of civic organizations" talking about "freedom" and "human rights" was nothing but a deceptive trick and a psychological campaign against the DPRK planned and led by the puppet group.
The gravity of the situation lies in the fact that the anti-DPRK leaflet scattering which had been conducted by the stooges under the mask of "civilians" through the connivance of the south Korean puppet authorities is now going to be staged by the group of traitors in an undisguised way just like military operation.
The leaflet-scattering is a high-level psychological warfare launched by a warring side to neutralize the other side and, in fact, a preemptive attack conducted before the start of war.
The situation is getting ever more serious as it is being committed at the time when the U.S. nuclear strategic assets are deployed, huge armed forces are increased and the largest-ever war drills for a war of aggression are staged against the DPRK to deteriorate the situation on the Korean peninsula.
The group of traitors may still remember the fact that the scattering of anti-DPRK leaflets conducted by the scum "defectors from the north" resulted in a clash of arms in 2014 and a total destruction of the north-south joint liaison office in 2020.
The DPRK could have patience with the puppet group's mischief so far as there was the "law on the prohibition of scattering leaflets against the north".
The DPRK people have already reached the highest pitch of anger as they suffered a great upheaval for the first time since the foundation of the country due to the inroad of the malignant infectious disease caused by shabby things of human scum.
It is the stand of the enraged revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to pour a shower of shells into the bulwark of the region of south Korean puppets as well as the base of leaflet-scattering by surpassing the previous counteraction.
When a hostile psychological warfare malignantly hurting the existence and development of the DPRK is conducted in the area near the DPRK under the present situation where a spark may lead to explosion, there is no guarantee that such military conflicts as in Europe and the Middle East would not break out on the Korean peninsula.
The U.S. and the puppet group of traitors will be held totally responsible for consequences to be entailed by it.

Shortly ago, I stressed that the reactionary alliance policy boasted by the U.S. administration might be a key factor driving the U.S. into a strategic dilemma.
However, the U.S. is being wrapped in mystery unreservedly, persistently seeking the tightened confrontational alliance targeting the third party.
It is a typical example that high-ranking officials of the U.S. administration are touring the Asia-Pacific region amid the protracted Ukrainian situation and the uncontrollable armed conflict in the Middle East region.
Anybody with a view of the world political situation and the Indo-Pacific strategy pursued by the U.S. can clearly tell about what is the aim of the visits of the U.S. secretaries of State and Defense and there is no need for any other interpretation.
The present situation clearly proves that the real intention of the U.S. advocating "dialogue" and "maintenance of stable relations" with a hostile country is to implement the line of confrontation and deterrence at will by minimizing the rebound of its other party who may put it in a tight corner.
What should not be overlooked is that uninvited guests from across ocean will seek the extreme confrontation on the Korean peninsula which is the biggest hotspot in the world and has reached the height of explosion.
In the region of the south Korean puppets, U.S. Secretary of State Blinken is to hold a confab with the puppets over the issue of the DPRK's sovereignty. U.S. Secretary of Defense Austin is to host a U.S.-puppet south Korea annual security consultative meeting and the defense ministerial talks of the puppet south Korea- "UN Command" membership to discuss proposals for the military confrontation with the DPRK.
The U.S. is going to hold even a meeting of military chiefs of the "UN Command" membership, a product of the Korean war in the 1950s, not content with discussing the confrontation proposals for politically doing harm to the DPRK and militarily pressurizing the DPRK. This provocative act reminds one of the visits of the warmongers for field inspection to ignite the second Korean war.
Given the historic precedents in which the political and military confrontation and conflict have been escalated in the places where the U.S. footprints are left, there is no doubt that the recent visits of the U.S. secretaries of State and Defense will bring about a new war cloud in the Asia-Pacific region, too.
What is clear is that any rhetoric and adventurous act can not cover up the miserable position of the U.S. which is plunging into a strategic crisis in different parts of the world and halt the decline of the "only superpower" becoming more evident day by day.
The failure of the domestic and foreign policies and the subsequent strategic crisis have already become an inevitable fate of the U.S., and such scenery is being unfolded vividly in Europe and Middle East.
Whether or not a new geopolitical crisis hastening the end of the U.S. will be created in the Asia-Pacific region entirely depends on the U.S. behavior.
The U.S. moves to strengthen the alliance against the anti-U.S., independent countries will accelerate the just international community's punishment power and conclusion of counteraction and serve as a catalyst for totally destroying the hegemonic position of the empire of evils.
The present international crisis is the one of the U.S. and its strategic defeat is a matter of time.
Amid the ever-increasing gun-related crimes - the malignant tumor inherent in American society - another shooting spree recently occurred in the United States (U.S.), much to the consternation of the international society.
It is reported that on October 25, a criminal armed with a rifle rushed into a bowling alley, a restaurant and other public places in Lewiston, Maine of the U.S. and blindly fired, killing at least 22 people and injuring more than 60.
The criminal had reportedly been a shooting instructor trained in a defense corps and was given antipsychotic treatment in August this year.
One could easily guess what could have happened when the criminal himself was a psychopath well-versed in weaponry.
Such large-scale shooting incidents are everyday occurrence in the U.S., making people tremble with anxiety and fear.
According to data, over 560 shooting incidents with the casualty of more than 4 people have been recorded this year, and it is worth noting that the number one cause of child death is the gun-related crime.
The Americans are antagonistic and hostile to each other for such reasons as widening gap between the rich and the poor and prevailing racism. It is therefore common case for them to take out guns first when dealing with the people of their dislike, and it is a social trend to vie each other in purchasing guns for their personal safety.
In the U.S., the possession of guns is allowed by law and its purchase is so simple that women also buy guns, resulting in the flood of more than 400 million guns within the country. When it comes to the per capita possession of guns and the total number of guns as well as the number of deaths caused by gun-related crimes, no other country in the world can compete with the U.S.
Not only the international society but also the majority of Americans stand staunchly for the establishment of strict gun control regulations, but the U.S. administration is simply saying that they will make a try to prevent the gun-related crimes whenever horrible shooting incident occurs.
Worse still, the National Rifle Association (NRA) backed by the U.S. politicians and other organizations insist on individual possession of guns to protect oneself, in response to the public opinions calling for urgent need to address the ever-increasing gun-related violence, a mockery of public sentiment.
Unless the U.S. administration formulates and enforces a strict law on the individual sale, possession and use of guns, the number of gun-related crimes would never decrease. This is the unanimous opinion of the international society.
Recently, EU Agency for Fundamental Rights published a shocking report that ill-treatment, violation and other racial discrimination against black people have increased in Europe in the period of 2016 - 2022. This report is based on the opinion poll of more than 6, 750 people in 13 member states of the EU.
According to the report, discrimination against black people in Austria and Germany were previously 42% and 33% respectively but have now increased to 64 %. Likewise, discrimination is rampant in schools, workplaces and all other fields of social life.
In several EU countries including Ireland and Finland, black parents expressed their indignation that they witnessed in person their children being scolded with threatening remarks. The ratio of Afro-Europeans who give up education halfway is three times higher than other races.
Meanwhile one out of four black people were arrested by the police in Europe during the last five years, with more than half of them being arrested with the mere reason of being different in skin color.
Human rights are independent rights exercised by people in all fields of their social life including politics, the economy, ideology and culture.
However, the nonwhites are being subjected to discrimination, maltreatment and violence for the mere reason of being different race. This is the stark reality of the Western society which hypes up “public equality” and “public welfare”.
The Western countries, while turning a blind eye to the human rights violations prevalent at home, are being engrossed in interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, talking out loud about human rights situation in other countries in such international arenas like the United Nations. Such hypocritical behavior is being criticized by many countries.
No wonder that many countries showed their rejection of the “Western values” and raised their voices of denunciation in the recent 54th session of the UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva with regard to the Western acts of using the human rights issue as the means for pursuing their geopolitical interests.
The West had better put its house in order before taking issue with other countries’ human rights situation in a bid to realize its dishonest political purposes.
