Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Vice Department Director of C.C., WPK
Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), released the following press statement on Nov. 24:
On Nov. 22, the foreign ministry of south Korea described the DPRK's exercise of the right to self-defence as "provocation", announcing that it is examining its additional "independent sanctions" as the "provocation" continues.
As soon as the U.S. talked about its "independent sanctions" against the DPRK, south Korea parroted what the former said. This disgusting act shows more clearly that the south Korean group is a "faithful dog" and stooge of the U.S.
Such frequent acts of the south Korean stooges dumbfound me.
I wonder what "sanctions" the south Korean group, no more than a running wild dog on a bone given by the U.S., impudently impose on the DPRK. What a spectacle sight!
If the master and the servant still attach themselves to the useless "sanctions", we will let them do that one hundred or thousand times.
If they think that they can escape from the present dangerous situation through "sanctions", they must be really idiots as they do not know how to live in peace and comfort.
I wonder why the south Korean people still remain a passive onlooker to such acts of the "government" of Yoon Suk Yeol and other idiots who continue creating the dangerous situation.
Anyhow, Seoul had not been our target at least when Moon Jae In was in power.
We warn the impudent and stupid once again that the desperate sanctions and pressure of the U.S. and its south Korean stooges against the DPRK will add fuel to the latter's hostility and anger and they will serve as a noose for them.
Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Vice Department Director of C.C., WPK
Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued the following press statement on Tuesday:
At the prodding of the U.S., the UNSC held an open meeting on Nov. 21 in order to pull up the DPRK over the test-fire of its new-type intercontinental ballistic missile, Hwasongpho-17.
The UNSC has turned blind eyes to the very dangerous military drills of the U.S. and south Korea and their greedy arms buildup aiming at the DPRK and taken issue with the DPRK's exercise of its inviolable right to self-defence corresponding to them. This is evidently the application of double-standards.
Great irony is that as soon as the UNSC opening meeting was over, the U.S. vented its anger on failure in realizing its sinister intention while making public a disgusting "joint statement" together with such rabbles as Britain, France, Australia, Japan and south Korea, not concealing its bad mood.
It reminds one of a barking dog seized with fear.
The DPRK government strongly denounces such reckless moves of the U.S. and the group of reactionaries following it as a wanton violation of our sovereignty and a grave political provocation to drive the situation of the Korean peninsula to a new phase of crisis.
We will never tolerate anyone who slanders our exercise of the right to self-defence to protect the security of the state but will take the toughest counteraction to the last.
The U.S. should be mindful that no matter how desperately it may seek to disarm the DPRK, it can never deprive the DPRK of its right to self-defence and that the more hell-bent it gets on the anti-DPRK acts, it will face a more fatal security crisis.
True Colors of Kingdom of Human Rights Violation
Recently in the U.S., a video was posted where a white female student commits outrage at black female students uttering racist curses. It brought on public criticism. It shocked the world once again as it brought to light the horrible human rights situation of the U.S. which professes itself to be an “exemplary state of human rights”.
Racial discrimination is an incurable malignant tumor of the American society.
In the American society, individualism serves as mental mainstay of the country and as the only mode of existence. So it is just natural that all sorts of inhumane crime are rampant there. These include extreme human hatred, money-is-almighty principle and the prevalent deformed and decadent life style, murder, robbery, rape and prostitution.
In recent days alone, sexual assaults brazenly took place in broad daylight even at Stanford University which is known to be a prestigious one and a bare-handed 15-year-old black boy was shot dead by the police in Mississippi under the pretext of “execution of the duties”.
Moreover, a horrifying incident occurred in Chicago where only 5-month-old baby was dead after being hit in the head by a bullet fired from a passing vehicle.
Crimes of human rights violations such as political violation and blackmailing, racial discrimination and persecution, and indecent assaults and gun-related cases are becoming ever more serious in the U.S. Thus people are in mortal fear lest they should be killed at any time.
Even the U.S. “Declaration of Independence” which pledged to pursue right to life and happiness cannot stop the human rights violations rampant in the American society.
It is quite absurd for such a country to pose as a “human rights defender”, a “human rights sympathizer” of the world who speaks for so-called “justice” and “truth”, and to viciously slander the anti-imperialist, independent countries by releasing so called “country reports on human rights”.
The U.S., the kingdom of crimes and the world’s biggest obliterator of human rights, has no right to talk about human rights.
There is a saying that it’s easier to see the faults of others than to detect one’s own. The U.S. would be well-advised to worry about its own dismal human rights situation first.
Maintaining the Juche-oriented Standpoint
After the Fatherland Liberation War (June 1950–July 1953) was over, President Kim Il Sung talked with the leaders of socialist countries about the theses he had prepared.
What he stressed importantly in the theses was the problem of agricultural cooperativization.
At first, his foreign counterparts kept silence as all the lines he indicated in the theses were new ones that could not be found in any classics.
They said with difficulty that socialist cooperativization had not yet been carried out in the developed socialist countries in East Europe and they opposed the enforcement of socialist cooperativization in Korea, saying how the country, where everything was razed to the ground, could carry it out first. And they wondered about cooperativization of medium and small-sized commerce and manufacture in the country, citing an example in a big country.
This made Kim Il Sung further consolidate his determination on waging the socialist revolution and socialist construction in the Korean way.
In April Juche 44 (1955) he made public the historic theses Every Effort for the Country’s Reunification and Independence and for Socialist Construction in the Northern Half of Korea, in which he defined the character of the Korean revolution and indicated tasks for its implementation.
There was no change to his Juche-oriented conviction whatever the established theory and experiences of others were and whatever others said.
In the theses he indicated that the decisive factor for carrying out agricultural cooperativization was not whether modern technology was provided but whether the people demanded it as a vital need for their living and whether the internal forces capable of carrying out the undertaking were prepared. He stressed that the postwar period was the opportune time for the undertaking, when everything was destroyed owing to the war and private peasants, traders and manufacturers needed to join efforts because of the actual conditions of the country.
Several decades later, Kim Il Sung, looking back upon the period, said: Our postwar reconstruction could be finished quickly as socialist cooperativization had been enforced in time; if we had not carried it out in time, our country could not have developed as we see it today.
Single-hearted Unity of the DPRK and Its Strength
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is a country, the cornerstone of whose state political system is single-hearted unity of its national leader, its ruling Party and the masses.
This unity is a key factor that makes the country remain unperturbed in any political upheavals.
In the closing years of the last century, when several socialist countries collapsed and the allied imperialist forces turned the spearhead of their anti-socialist attack to the DPRK, the Korean people defended the banner of socialism without the slightest vacillation; they consolidated the socio-political foundation of their state in the face of all manner of trials, in which others may must have collapsed easily. The credit for this must go to the single-hearted unity, in which the leader and the people are firmly united with one mind and purpose.
The hostile forces are now making persistent attempts to create difficulties in the living of the Korean people and undermine their country from within, but to no avail. This is only making the country’s political foundation based on single-hearted unity further consolidated.
Single-hearted unity serves as a fundamental source for the country to bring about miraculous victories and great changes in socialist construction.
The Korean people are performing world-startling miraculous achievements in succession: In recent years, the chemical industry sector, one of the two pillars in the self-supporting economy, splendidly built the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory, and is now giving an impetus to establishing a C1 chemical industry; those reclaiming tidelands have reclaimed vast areas of tidelands by inventing and applying new methods of construction, extending the boundaries of the country; workers in the light-industry sector are developing products favoured by the people; the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm was built in North Hamgyong Province, followed by a large-scale greenhouse farm in the Ryonpho area of South Hamgyong Province; the city of Samjiyon underwent a sea change; the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort and other bases for cultural and leisure activities were built; modern houses sprang up in different parts of the country; and the country is maintaining a stable anti-epidemic situation.
All these successes are the fruition of the might of the single-hearted unity, in which the leader devotes his all for the people’s sake and the people carry out his plans and intentions with a single mind.
This single-hearted unity is a source of the inexhaustible strength of the country that is not afraid of any formidable enemy.
The country boasts of its army possessed of a powerful war deterrent, to say nothing of modern means of both attack and defence and determined with the will to implement unto death the orders and instructions of its Supreme Commander. The service personnel of the Korean People’s Army achieved unity with the civilians in ideology and fighting spirit in supporting their leader. This great army-people unity, peculiar to the country, assures it of victory only.
The might of the single-hearted unity finds its expression in the universal practice of the people who make sure that the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, rather than their own property and lives, are safe when they are faced with sudden natural disasters and accidents. It is not difficult for everyone to guess how these people will display heroism and self-sacrificing spirit for the sake of their leader and country if war breaks out.
Single-hearted unity is a national trait and strength peculiar to the DPRK.
