Truth of Dangerous Trip for Nuclear War Disclosed: KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- Recently, Yoon Suk Yeol, the puppet traitor, traveled across the Atlantic to the U.S.
This trip, aimed to draw up a sinister plan between the master and the stooge to annihilate the DPRK, is the most hostile, aggressive and provocative, dangerous trip for a nuclear war.
The U.S. and the south Korean puppets regarded the proposal for raising the practicality of the U.S. "extended deterrence" as the main topic for discussion at the so-called "summit talks" and plotted the issue of strengthening conspiracy against the DPRK. Then, they fabricated and announced "Washington Declaration" and a "joint statement".
The "Washington Declaration" on raising the practicality of the "extended deterrence" provided by the U.S. is a typical product of the heinous hostile policy towards the DPRK.
A scrutiny into the two main contents being the essential part of the "Washington Declaration" clearly reveals the cunning scheme of the U.S.
With such contents as the establishment of a "Nuclear Consultative Group" to allow the south Korean puppets to take an active part in consultations on "nuclear weapons employment" and the strengthening of "extended deterrence" through extending the deployment of U.S. strategic assets to the Korean Peninsula including a strategic nuclear submarine and improving combined military exercises and simulation training, anyone can know well that they are making a nuclear war against the DPRK a fait accompli.
Until now, confidential and many other talks have been held between the U.S. and the puppets and every time they took place, documents filled with bellicose phrases have been published. But, there is no precedent that they designated the DPRK as a target for a nuclear attack publicly to the world and nakedly stated regular and sustained deployment of strategic nuclear assets to the Korean Peninsula, like this time.
The "joint statement", too, is absolutely identical with a dangerous nuclear war plot putting up the signboard of security, as it documents the Strategic Cybersecurity Cooperation Framework between the U.S. and the puppets and confirms the "strengthened trilateral cooperation" among the U.S., the south Korean puppets and Japan and their real-time sharing of information on the DPRK and the regular military drills for more effectively "deterring and responding" to "nuclear and missile threats" of the DPRK.
Through this, the U.S. and the south Korean puppets made their scheme for invasion against the DPRK more clear.
So far, the U.S. has staged large-scale combined military exercises and all sorts of war drills against the DPRK together with its vassal forces, introducing diverse strategic assets and colossal numbers of aggression forces into the Korean Peninsula and its vicinities.
This time, it stipulated that it deploys strategic nuclear bombers, nuclear carrier task forces and even strategic nuclear submarines near the territorial waters of the DPRK and makes it public, talking about further enhancing "regular visibility", which means regular and sustained deployment and active disclosure of nuclear strategic assets. This is a situation that can never be overlooked.
What is more serious is that U.S. president Biden dared to make frantic and reckless remarks about "the end of regime" towards the DPRK while becoming vociferous about a "swift, overwhelming and decisive response" at a press conference after the talks.
The above-said utterance made under the very eyes of the world to destroy a sovereign state is a savage act that can be done only by the U.S., a hooligan state of a rare kind and an empire of evil.
By doing so, the U.S. revealed by itself the falsity and impudence of the gibberish about "dialogue" that it has "no hostile intents" to the DPRK, and its inveterate hostility towards the DPRK that has reached its marrow.
The unstable military and political situation on the Korean Peninsula created by ceaseless war drills and regular and sustained deployment of U.S. strategic assets from the outset of this year has reached a more dangerous phase due to the recent "declaration", "statement" and reckless remarks.
As shown by the very hostile rhetorical expressions and evident actions of the U.S. and the puppets, they, in the future, too, are scheming to persist in nuclear war moves against the DPRK under the pretext of "providing extended deterrence" and "strengthened alliance". Under such situation, it is quite natural for the DPRK to bolster up its military deterrence corresponding to the grave security environment of the present and the future.
The traitor Yoon's visit to the U.S. made it possible to reconfirm the hostile intention of the U.S. and the puppets which can never be changed but has become more reckless. This shows that the DPRK should neither hesitate nor stop for even a little and even a moment to become stronger and more thoroughly prepared.
We cannot but talk about the shameful and disgusting behavior of the puppet traitor Yoon Suk Yeol who made during his cowardly visit to the U.S.
The traitor made such foolish acts of subordinating south Korea's economy to the U.S., impudently interfering in the acute issues of Taiwan and Ukraine which are related to the core interests of neighboring countries and getting frantic in the efforts to build the triangular military alliance while letting loose reckless remarks that there is no need to examine the past of Japan. All these facts clearly show the slavish nature of a servant who seeks to curry favor with his master at any cost.
The true colors of the top-class traitor obsessed with confrontation with fellow countrymen have been fully revealed.
The traitor let loose a string of rhetoric that "the united determination with the U.S." is important to contain the DPRK, "he has full confidence in U.S. extended deterrence commitments" and "he will decisively respond to the threat from the north on the basis of stronger combined defence posture", sparking off the resentment of not only the people of the DPRK but all the fellow countrymen.
The puppet traitor Yoon Suk Yeol's treacherous and submissive acts to the U.S. are turning south Korea into a U.S. arsenal and advanced base for a nuclear war and hurting the security and interests of not only the Korean Peninsula but also the region.
The dangerous nuclear war moves of the U.S. and the puppet group running amuck in stifling the DPRK while denying its existence can never be pardoned, and they will have to pay dearly for their rash acts.

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Choe Ju Hyon, an international security analyst of the DPRK, released the following article on May 1:
The international community is getting vocal criticizing the "Washington Declaration" that stipulates the most hostile and aggressive action will against the DPRK.
The majority of the world public, including neighboring countries, term the declaration the "trigger for another nuclear crisis on the Korean Peninsula", "an act of inviting a wolf into Northeast Asia" and "a dangerous decision that will plunge the region into a further escalation of tensions and an evil cycle of arms race", warning of the significantly negative consequences to be entailed by it.
This is a fair comment of the international community on the act of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet warmongers to throw the present entire region deep into a terrible thermo-nuclear war, being not content with fomenting constant instability on the Korean Peninsula through their threatening rhetoric and greed-driven hostile military acts.
Against this backdrop, the U.S. egged on the south Korean puppet defence minister on April 28 to let out such paradox that deployment of U.S. strategic nuclear submarines does not go against the "joint declaration of the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" and has no legal problems.
This is just the height of impudence and shamelessness peculiar to the U.S. that is no slouch at lies and plots.
Before debating on "legitimacy", it is necessary to recall the well-known fact that the farce of deploying nuclear strategic assets orchestrated by the U.S. has been a main evil source of ever-escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
This is clearly proven by the fact that the regional situation aggravates explosively whenever nuclear-capable strategic bombers buzz around the sky above Korean Peninsula and nuclear carrier and subs make their unwanted appearances in the waters around it.
Specifically, the U.S. has deployed different nuclear strategic assets targeted at the DPRK since the outset of this year, making the military and political situation of the peninsula still drown in the quagmire of instability. Worse still, a timer is now ticking to ignite the fuse of detonating a nuclear war.
Too obvious is the intention sought by the U.S. in encouraging its stooge to paint its reckless confrontational nuclear asset deployment as "legal one", despite of the fact that it admits of neither excuse nor disguise.
It is just aimed to dodge the responsibility for the worst-ever nuclear-related crimes it has committed by systematically destroying and violating the nuclear non-proliferation system, and in particular, pushing the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a nuclear war through the establishment of aggressive and exclusive military blocs and frantic nuclear proliferation threatening human existence.
Lurking behind it is also a black-hearted design to hype the "legitimacy" of the regular deployment of its strategic nuclear submarine near the Korean Peninsula and thus invent the "legal justification" for openly bringing its huge strategic assets there in the future.
It is the hegemonic sinister aim pursued by the U.S. to turn the whole of south Korea into its biggest nuclear war outpost in the Far East and effectively use it for attaining its strategy for dominating the world.
The U.S. is sadly mistaken if it thinks that it can twist the truth with petty verbal tricks and turn black into white.
Such sophistry as "legitimacy" touted by the U.S. can never help it hide its true colors as the chief culprit of aggression against peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and the region.
Ordinary Workers Tell a Story of Love
Today, we celebrate the May Day – the international holiday of the working people around the globe.
Ever since 1890 when we started to commemorate the May Day, the working masses in every part of the world have made strenuous efforts to eradicate all sorts of exploitation and pressure and to enhance their social status. However, they have yet to realize their desire to fully enjoy the right to existence, democratic freedom, and independent life.
But the situation in our country is different. Thanks to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and his great policy of loving the people, all working people are taking active part in social and political activities as masters of the state and society, enjoying the right to labour to their hearts’ content, as well as being preferentially ensured every conditions for living.
Through the story of love received by the ordinary workers at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, we can know what a dignified life the working people of the DPRK are leading.
Mun Kang Sun, who was a weaver at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, accomplished the annual plans ahead of schedule every year and also completed 2-year and 3-year tasks early. She has now become a labour innovator, Labour Heroine and deputy to the Supreme People’s Assembly known throughout the country.
When Changjon Street was built in the centre of the capital city, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw to it that a new fine apartment is allocated for her before anyone else though she just got married at that time. He also visited her new house and blessed the future of the newly married couple. He visited the house even before their parents, presenting them with many gifts including household goods necessary for them.
They enjoyed the day with respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who meticulously took care of their newlywed life. It was indeed an atmosphere of a sweet family with father and mother.
Not just the Mun Kang Sun couple, but all the workers of the Textile Mill received the blessings of love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
One day in October 2013, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill. Before hearing about the production, he first acquainted himself with the living conditions of the factory workers including their housing and hostel to the last detail. He then said that he would personally take responsibility for building a wonderful hostel, and dispatched a powerful construction team of the KPA and solved all problems arising in the construction.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the workers’ hostel which was built within just a six-month-period and said with affection that this hostel is not a workers’ hostel but a “workers’ hotel” and “workers’ palace”. He also saw to it that a grand banquet for workers was held in this hostel in celebration of the May Day.
Under the exceptional attention of the Party and government, a workers’ banquet, unparalleled in the world, was held in the “workers’ palace” on the meaningful May Day and ordinary weavers received congratulations from all people. This dreamlike story clearly proves the high position of our workers under the socialist system of our country which regards the popular masses as the masters.
Every year in many countries, on the occasion of the May Day, people continuously stage public protests calling for an end to the society which only serves for the rich, 1% of the population and for the creation of the society which serves for the working masses, 99% of the population. However, our people significantly commemorate this day with an exceptional pride of being a socialist worker who do not spare their efforts for the prosperity and development of the state and society.
The Ryonggang hot spring, the only hot spring of sea water in Korea, is in Onchon County in the city of Nampho, not far away from Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The total content of minerals of the natural monument is 24-26g/L, which is the largest of the mineral springs and waters in Korea in terms of mineral content.
It also contains brome ion.
The radon gas content of 175Bq/L, effective for treatment of diseases, does not affect the human body even though you bathe or wade in the water for a long time.
The water is slightly alkaline and its temperature is 55℃. It is efficacious for treating high blood pressure, arthritis, neuralgia, lumbago, sequela of operation, gynecological disorders, chronic gastritis, chronic enterocolitis, eczema and skin itching.
