Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- All the people and service personnel across the DPRK pay the highest tribute, with boundless yearning and ardent loyalty, to Chairman Kim Jong Il, looking back with deep emotion on the sacred revolutionary career and eternal exploits of the peerlessly great man, who set it as his lifelong cause to build on this land a country which will always be powerful and prosperous and devoted his all to its realization, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of his demise.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun at 00:00 on December 17, the greatest memorial day for our Party, state and people.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and other senior officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs and officials of the WPK Central Committee, leading officials of the Cabinet, commissions, ministries and national agencies, the commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and the commanding officers of the large combined units of the Korean People's Army.

Flower baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un, together with other visitors, bowed before the statues as an expression of noble respects to the great leaders.

At the hall, where the Chairman lies in state, Kim Jong Un, together with other visitors, paid high tribute to him, praying for his immortality.

All the visitors made a firm pledge to remain true, with their whole heart and loyalty, to the ideology and leadership of Kim Jong Un who is glorifying the patriotic exploits of Kim Jong Il by opening up a new glorious history of comprehensive national rejuvenation.

 

Floral baskets sent to bronze statues of great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il

Foreign personages and families of those abroad related to the anti-Japanese revolution sent floral baskets to the bronze statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the demise of Kim Jong Il.
Floral baskets were laid before the bronze statues of the great leaders on the 15th in the name of foreign personages and families of those abroad related to the anti-Japanese revolution including Vice-Chairman Sai Tiejun and Director Cui Tongwen of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, the family of Ryang Song Ryong, a China-resident Korean related to the anti-Japanese revolution, the family of Kim Sun Ok related to the anti-Japanese revolution and the family of Zhang Weihua, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolution.
