Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Pays Congratulatory Visit to KPA Navy Command
Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The Juche-based naval force, which has won great fame, making the immortal history of heroic combats to defend the sea of the country along the immutable course of loyalty under the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea, is significantly celebrating the day of its foundation.
The Navy of the Korean People's Army (KPA), which declared its solemn start with the foundation of a new Korea fleet on August 28, Juche 38 (1949), has firmly defended the territorial waters and dignity of the DPRK for more than 70 years, glorifying its militant course of victory and glory full of matchless heroism and courage.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the KPA Navy Command on August 27, with the Navy Day just ahead, to congratulate and encourage all the service personnel of the valiant People's Navy.
Accompanying him were KPA Marshals Ri Pyong Chol and Pak Jong Chon and Minister of National Defence Kang Sun Nam.
When the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un arrived at the Navy Command together with his beloved daughter, the officers and men of the Navy there broke into enthusiastic cheers, full of the emotion and joy of coming to high glory and privilege on its significant foundation day.
There took place a ceremony of greeting the Supreme Commander of the armed forces of the DPRK.
After receiving a salute from the head of the guard of honor of the KPA Navy, Kim Jong Un reviewed the guard.
Sailors presented him with fragrant bouquets carrying the unanimous loyalty and reverence of all the service personnel of the Navy.
Kim Jong Un was greeted by Admiral Kim Myong Sik, commander of the KPA Navy, Vice-admiral Kim Chang Guk, political commissar, and other military and political commanding officers of the Navy Command, and commanders of east and west sea fleets of the Navy and heads of their surface and underwater warship flotillas and commanding officers of the special operation units with deepest reverence.
There was a march-past of the Navy guard of honor.
Kim Jong Un had a photo session, to be eternally recorded in the history of army founding, with major commanding officers of the naval force in commemoration of his congratulatory visit to the Navy Command.
He sat together with service personnel of the Navy at the servicepersons' hall of the command.
Kim Jong Un conveyed a floral basket carrying warm congratulations and militant salute on behalf of the Party and the government to all the stalwart officers and soldiers of the People's Navy on the occasion of the Navy Day, and made an important speech.
He paid high tribute to the sacred 70-odd years of the KPA Navy which has continued the course of loyalty, holding fast to the helm of faith without any veering in the raging waves, and advanced the Party's idea of attaching importance to the Navy and the strategic and tactical issues arising in strengthening the naval force into an invincible service.
Expressing belief that all the service personnel of the Navy would surely usher in a golden age of the development of the Juche-based naval force in perfect unity, he ardently called for fully demonstrating as ever the mightiness of the heroic People's Navy and waging courageous and stubborn struggle to the last to add more luster to its honor.
When he finished his speech, all the participants broke into enthusiastic cheers of "Hurrah!" with the deep emotion of greeting the historic time when a great new era of strengthening the naval force begins, and with an oath of faith to carry forward the tradition of victory of the heroic People's Navy from generation to generation.
He congratulated the holiday of the Navy once again, warmly acknowledging their enthusiastic cheers.
Guided by the commander of the Navy, he visited the operation command headquarters.
He heard a report on the enemy movements and on the operation situation of the Navy from the commander.
Going round several elements of the headquarters, he learned in detail about the actuality of the operation command and degree of IT-based situation control.
After hearing a report on the naval operation plan from the Navy commander, he set forth the Juche-based naval operational and tactical policies for definitely taking the initiative in any sudden armed conflict and war and overwhelmingly containing the enemies with preemptive and resolute offensive, in accordance with the strategic and tactical intention of the Party Central Committee.
Then, he watched a volleyball game between teams of the Navy and the Air Force held to mark the Navy Day.
The stadium was full of joy and optimism of players and supporters who came to enjoy a significant sports game in the presence of the respected Supreme Commander whom they have longed to see.
The navy team beat the air force team in the sharp game that went on amid the strong competitiveness of players for the honor of their services and enthusiastic cheering of supporters.
Kim Jong Un had a significant photo session with the officers and soldiers of the KPA Navy Command on the occasion of the Navy Day.
All the service personnel of the Navy extended gratitude to the great teacher and benevolent father who spent all day long together with them, even though he was very busy with the Party and state affairs, and provided important guidelines for developing the Navy into a group of the powerful Juche-based service and clearly indicated the course to eternal victory with great love, trust and fervent affection.
Kim Jong Un expressed great expectation and belief that all the service personnel of the brave KPA Navy would hold higher the militant slogan "We wait only for the order of the Party to set sail!", cherish the unshakable faith and confidence to overwhelm any formidable enemy, make full combat readiness for a war and thus create another new myth of victory of the heroic Navy in the life-and-death battle.
When the photo session was over, shouts of "Kim Jong Un" and "Devoted defence" by the maritime death-defying corps ready to brave even the death once they are ordered by the Party Central Committee, a-match-for-a-hundred seamen determined to annihilate those who make little of the inviolable territorial waters of the country even 0.001 mm, resounded throughout the sky of August.
Kim Jong Un warmly encouraged the reliable naval officers and men full of strong will to firmly defend the sea of the beloved homeland by successfully carrying forward the great spirit of the seamen of the preceding generations.
All the service personnel of the Navy pledged to prepare themselves more firmly to become frontline soldiers of the national defence and warriors of the sea, keeping deep in their minds the great love and feeling of blood ties shown by Kim Jong Un.
The KPA Navy gave a send-off with highest respect for Kim Jong Un who had finished his congratulatory visit to its command.
His congratulatory visit to the KPA Navy Command will be brilliantly recorded in the history of the building of the Juche-based revolutionary armed forces as an important landmark for a radical turn in bolstering up the naval force.

Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- The Institute of International Studies of the DPRK on Sunday made public the following commentary titled "Touchdown point of U.S.-made fighters is only slough of downfall":
The Ukrainian situation is falling deeper into the maze of war, as the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway have recently decided to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighters.
The U.S., which had deliberately taken a cautious attitude towards the Zelenskiy puppet regime's request for the supply of U.S.-made fighters from the very beginning of the Ukrainian crisis, finally turned its mask off and gave a green light to western European countries' offer of F-16 fighters.
The Zelenskiy group, which regards U.S. weapons more precious than gold even though they are scrap iron, has begged the U.S. to approve the delivery of fighters from European countries if it cannot personally take part in the supply of its combat fighters, absurdly calculating that the possession of such fighters may reverse the situation in battlefields.
The U.S. had taken an ambiguous stand on the issue of providing fighters under the pretext of not wishing for the expansion of war. But it buckled down to the process of offering F-16 fighters as the Ukrainian "fierce counterattack" operation resulted in numerous casualties and destruction of Western weapons.
In May, Biden first suggested that F-16 fighters could be handed over to Ukraine through a third country. And some days ago, Secretary of the U.S. Department of State Blinken took another step forward and promised to deliver the fighters quickly to Ukraine.
On August 24, Biden and the U.S. Department of Defense announced that they would start the training of Ukrainian pilots at the U.S. mainland air force base from October and approve the offer of F-16 fighters by a third country as soon as the pilot's training is over.
The decision is a desperate measure chosen by the confrontation maniacs against Russia, taken aback by repeated defeats of the Zelenskiy group's counterattack. It goes to prove that the U.S. and the West remain unchanged in their sinister intention to bring a strategic defeat to Russia at any cost in the Ukrainian battlefield.
Some European countries are taking the lead in supporting the Ukrainian military in the "spirit of chivalry". This is a reckless act based on the blind "trust" in the U.S. security umbrella.
It is no secret that the U.S., not content with pressurizing European countries to provide the Zelenskiy authorities with Soviet-made fighters since the outbreak of the Ukrainian crisis, recently formed an "alliance of providing fighters" by rallying its allies and allotted a large amount of funds to the training of Ukrainian pilots for steering the U.S.-made fighters.
The U.S. and the West have systematically increased the degree of support for Ukraine through the supply of their MBTs, depleted uranium bombs and cruise missiles. Their decision to supply even fighters is an anti-peace act of inciting a long war and totally destroying the regional peace and stability.
Considering that the fighters of NATO allies, tasked to strike Russia's territory with the U.S. nuclear bombs under the "nuclear sharing" agreement, are just F-16, the U.S. and Western countries' supply of F-16 fighters is a great step towards a nuclear war against Russia.
The reality clearly proves that the U.S. is the arch criminal blocking the peaceful settlement of disputes and pushing the whole of Europe into the crucible of a horrible nuclear war by inciting its followers to provide Ukraine with various kinds of lethal weapons.
The righteous international community including the DPRK strongly denounces and rejects the U.S. and the West's supply of lethal weapons for the Zelenskiy puppet authorities as an unethical act.
The U.S. and the West, not awakened from the wild dream about "Russia's strategic defeat", are trying to reverse the war situation in Ukraine with the mere supply of fighters, but their attempts will inevitably expose themselves to the powerful retaliation of Russia.
Predictably, with the landing of F-16 on Ukraine, the familiar word "strategic defeat" will follow the name of the U.S. and the West, creating a new term "strategic defeat of the U.S. and the West".
It is a matter of time that F-16 fighters, the U.S. and the West place their big hope on, are displayed as another exhibit at Russia's victory museums.
Nothing can block the advance of the brave Russian army and people out in defending justice and peace, and the U.S. and the West are doomed to ruin.
Illegal and Fraudulent Document Fabricated by Japanese Imperialists: MinjuJoson
Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- MinjuJoson Tuesday in an article says that in the past the Japanese imperialists seized the diplomatic right and the right of home administration of Korea by fabricating the "Ulsa Five-point Treaty", "Jongmi Seven-point Treaty" and others one after another, but not content with this, they made desperate efforts to completely wipe out Korea as a state entity on the earth.
The "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty" is a completely illegal and fraudulent document the Japanese imperialists unilaterally fabricated and published to the world, the article says, adding:
It was proven that Korean and Japanese versions of the "treaty" were written in a single style of writing. This clearly shows that the Residency-General took the lead in fabricating the "treaty" and its related documents under the instructions of the Japanese imperialist rulers and the feudal government of Korea was never involved in drawing up the "treaty".
The absence of Emperor Sunjong's signature, in the royal mandate document promulgated on August 29 to announce the "annexation", goes to clearly prove that the "treaty" was illegal and invalid.
The most important condition for validity of a treaty is to get endorsement from a state ruler. But, the royal mandate document had no signature of the emperor, except mark of the emperor's seal.
This fact also proves that Emperor Sunjong did not sign the royal mandate document to oppose the "annexation" of Korea by the Japanese imperialists.
All the facts clearly show that the "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty", cooked up by the Japanese imperialists, was a hideous state terrorism based on means of threats, blackmail and high-handedness and a fraud document without elementary appearance as an international treaty.
The Korean people will surely settle accounts with the Japanese imperialists for their heinous crimes.
We are now greeting the significant occasion, the Youth Day at an exciting time when the dignity and prestige of Juche Korea is being exalted before the whole world. The Youth Day is a proud holiday of the young vanguards of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the trustworthy successors of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Since the historic day of August 28, 1927, when President Kim Il Sung founded the Young Communist League of Korea, the Korean youth movement has advanced steadily along the road of Juche without the slightest hesitation or deviation and has firmly carried forward the glorious history and tradition of struggle.
President Kim Il Sung formulated a unique idea on the position and role of the young people as early as at the dawn of Korean revolution, and brought up the Korean youth full of enthusiasm as true revolutionaries during the early days of his revolutionary activities and the armed struggle against the Japanese imperialists. It was by dint of their strength that he accomplished the historic cause of national liberation and after the liberation, he went on to rally the patriotic youth from all walks of life around a mass youth organization and they, in turn, became the pillars of the new country during its construction.
During the periods of the fierce Fatherland Liberation War, the arduous post-war reconstruction and the gigantic socialist construction, President Kim Il Sung always maintained the firm faith in young people and enabled them to lead the trend of the times, and also led them wisely so that the Korean youth movement could advance along the road of victory and glory without suspension.
Carrying on the noble ideas of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il also gave priority to the youth movement and raised our young people to be the loyal and reliable youth vanguard of our Party, who faithfully upheld the revolutionary cause of Juche.
He also proclaimed August 28 – a meaningful day when the Korean youth movement had started – as the Youth Day and put forward the slogan “Love the youth!”, thus making the climate of giving importance to the youth pervade the whole society.
Thanks to the love of Chairman Kim Jong Il, our young people could create the legends of heroic youth one after another on major fronts of socialist construction including the construction of Youth Hero Road by firmly holding the baton of revolution, the torchlight of faith entrusted to them by our Party.
President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il provided a firm guarantee for the lifeline of the revolutionary cause of Juche and developed our country into a youth power with a bright prospect with their wise guidance on the youth movement. Their exploits stand out as immortal feats in the history of our country.
Juche-oriented youth movement is now in the heyday of its development under the wise leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put forward the unique idea of modeling the Youth League on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and laid an eternal foundation for glorifying the youth power of Juche as Kim Il Sung’s and Kim Jong Il’s youth power from generation to generation.
He also set forth the militant slogans for our youth movement to uphold, i.e. “Let us rush ahead along the course of the Korean revolution, sailing with the blizzards of Paektu!” and wisely led our Youth League to fully demonstrate its dignity and honour as the reliable scout and flank of our Party.
Our passionate young people wonderfully constructed Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station in the severe cold under adverse conditions. They are demonstrating matchless heroism in the fields of socialist construction including the new street constructions, fully displaying the spirit and courage of Korean youth. We see our proud young people, the reliable youth brought up by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the far-off defense lines protecting the welfare of the fatherland and people and in the vibrant socialist construction fields.
There will always be victory and glory on the road ahead of our young people who advance vigorously towards accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
