President Kim Il Sung's "Theses on Socialist Education"
Today marks the 35th anniversary of the immortal famous work of President Kim Il Sung "The Theses on Socialist Education".
President
Kim Il Sung always paid his big efforts and deep attention to education
for its great significance while energetically leading revolution and
construction.
Under
his wise leadership the universal compulsory eleven-year education was
enforced after the enforcement of the universal compulsory nine-year
technical education in the DPRK. The Korean revolution had further
developed on new higher stage of modeling the whole society on the Juche
idea.
It urgently demanded education to be further developed in requirement of the practical reality.
After
clearly understanding the requirement, the President published the work
on September 5, 1977 based on the noble exploits he performed for the
development of the Juche-oriented education and the rich experience he
gained in education.
Clarified
in the work are all issues arising in socialist education from its aim
and mission to the issue on party guidance to education and state
ensuring and social support for it such as the main principle of
socialist pedagogy, the socialist education system of the DPRK and
duties and roles of educational organs.
Leader
Kim Jong Il, same as the President, deepened and developed the
outstanding idea of education of the President and his cause of building
the Juche-oriented education with the noble view of younger generation.
He issued a famous work "On Further Developing Educational Work" in July 1984.
Therefore,
a revolution of education had been conducted across the country and an
epochal turn had been brought about in implementing the theses of
education.
The
immortal exploits performed by the generalissimos for the development
of education have been further glorified by the respected Kim Jong Un.
Having
had Kim Jong Un in highest esteem the future of Kim Il Sung and Kim
Jong Il's Korea will be more bright and the socialist education theses
further fully display its great vitality with the building a thriving
nation of Juche.
