Eine Festkonferenz zur Feier des 80. Jahrestages der Gründung des Sozialistischen Patriotischen Jugendverbands (SPJV) fand am 16. Januar im KIM-IL-SUNG-Stadion in Pyongyang statt.

Der Oberste Führer KIM JONG UN, Generalsekretär der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und Vorsitzender für Staatsangelegenheiten der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK), wohnte der Konferenz bei  und hielt eine Festrede.

Er beglückwünschte die Jugendlichen Koreas mit herzlichen Worten zum Jubiläum und sagte einleitend:

"Als erstes Ereignis auf nationaler Ebene in diesem wichtigen Jahr, in dem der 9. Parteitag unserer Partei stattfinden wird, haben wir die grosse Zusammenkunft der jungen Menschen zur Feier des 80. Jahrestages der Gründung des Jugendverbands arrangiert."

Es sei sehr bedeutend, dass der Jugendverband, der eine loyale Avantgarde der PdAK und eine mächtige Organisation der patriotischen Jugend sei, den 80. Jahrestag seiner Gründung in diesem grossen Stil auf dem Weg zum 9. Parteitag der PdAK feiere.

Der väterliche Marschall KIM JONG UN sagte:

"Die Geschichte der Jugendbewegung Koreas ist so ehrenvoll und ihre Verdienste von Generation zu Generation sind so enorm."

Er lobte den Jugendverband als verlässliche Stütze und Hauptkraft des Aufbaus des Sozialismus und der nationalen Verteidigung.

In den 1950er-Jahren hätten die Mitglieder des Demokratischen Jugendverbands (damaliger Name des SPJV) ihr Land in den Flammen des Krieges verteidigt und als Pioniere der Chollima-Bewegung (Chollima = legendäres geflügeltes Pferd) das Land wieder aufgebaut.

Die Elterngeneration habe in der schweren Zeit, in der der Sozialismus schwere Prüfungen zu bestehen gehabt habe, das Land und sein Gesellschaftssystem verteidigt.

Die Jugendbewegung Koreas habe die Tradition der Reinheit, des Patriotismus und der Loyalität hochgehalten.

Marschall KIM JONG UN unterstrich:

"In den Tagen voller Träume und Ambitionen zeigen unsere jungen Leute den originalen Charakter als junge Koreaner und erfüllten treu ihre Mission als Nachfolger, indem sie ihre kostbare Jugend dem Ruf der Zeit und ihres Landes widmen."

Die Jugend habe das Recht auf Freude und solle schöne Träume haben, doch solle es diese in die Praxis umsetzen und ihr reines Bewusstsein dem Mutterland widmen.

Marschall KIM JONG UN sagte dazu:

"Das ist eine inspirierende Geschichte, die nur mit den noblen ideologischen und geistigen Zügen unserer jungen Leute erklärt werden kann."

Zurückblickend könne festgestellt werden, dass die revolutionäre Ideologie und die Ideale der Partei immer auch jene der Jugend gewesen seien.

Marschall KIM JONG UN stellte dieser glanzvollen Geschichte der koreanischen Jugend die Geldanbetung, den Pessimismus und das Missgeschick der Jugend in anderen Weltgegenden gegenüber. Das sei die Realität der heutigen Welt.

Die DVRK könne deshalb stolz sein auf die zuverlässigen und starken jungen Revolutionäre, die ihr Schicksal mit jenem der Partei und des Mutterlandes teilen.

Marschall KIM JONG UN lobte auch die jungen Soldaten, die die Würde und Ehre ihres Landes in den überseeischen militärischen Operationen heroisch und aufopferungsvoll verteidigt hätten.

Niemand auf der Welt finde solche treuen Soldaten. Er stellte dazu fest:

"Es sind nur die Koreaner, nur junge Koreaner, die das können. Und so versteht die Welt ihre geistige Welt.

........

Solche jungen Leute zu haben, ist der Quell des Stolzes unseres Staates, der mit nichts zu vergleichen ist."

Die 80-jährige Geschichte des Jugendverbands sei von sozialistischen Idealen, noblem Patriotismus und Gerechtigkeitssinn erfüllt.

Die revolutionäre Sache sei unbesiegbar, weil der Jugendverband stark sei und seine Mitglieder hohe Ideale hätten und voller revolutionärem Enthusiasmus seien.

Marschall KIM JONG UN gab bekannt, dass das Land beschlossen habe, den SPJV mit dem KIM-JONG-IL-Orden, einem der höchsten Orden des Staates, auszuzeichen, um die Verdienste des Verbands in den letzten 80 Jahren zu ehren.

Er schloss seine Rede mit folgenden warmen Worten der Ermutigung:

"Der Traum Koreas, die Zukunft Koreas, ruft unsere jungen Leute.

Für das ewige Gedeihen unseres Mutterlandes.

Für unser schönes Morgen, und 

Für die Ehre der jungen Menschen Koreas, 

Lasst uns noch kühner und dynamischer kämpfen!

Lang lebe die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea!"

Mit seiner mitreissenden, schwungvollen und begeisternden Rede drückte der väterliche Marschall KIM JONG UN sein grenzenloses Vertrauen in die junge Generation des sozialistischen Korea und seinen Stolz auf sie aus.

Wir beglückwünschen den väterlichen Marschall KIM JONG UN zu seiner festlichen Rede und den SPJV zum 80. Jahrestag seiner Gründung.

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made public the following press statement "Pipe dream can never change the current situation of the DPRK-ROK relations" on January 13:

I saw the ROK Ministry of Unification commenting on my statement on Tuesday. It said that there exists room for "communication" and "détente".

What a poor one it is.

In conclusion, it has already gone wrong in their expectation.

As far as Seoul's various hope-filled wild dreams called "repair of DPRK-ROK relations" are concerned, they all can never come true.

The chief executive is so busy with his solicitation diplomacy abroad and the authorities are going so earnest to pretend that they are to show goodwill, harboring a daydream. But the present address of the DPRK-ROK relations can never change.

Actually, the ROK has committed a grave provocation by infringing upon the sovereignty of the DPRK recently.

This is just the deed done by the enemy only.

I make it clear once again to the hooligans of the enemy state.

The Seoul authorities should admit and apologize for having violated the sovereignty of the DPRK and take a measure for preventing reoccurrence.

They should not forget that if such provocation of encroaching upon the inviolable sovereignty of the DPRK is repeated, they will be forced to pay the price they cannot deal with.

This is not a mere rhetorical threat or extension of a wordy war.

Our reaction to the infringement on sovereignty and our will to defend the sovereignty will not be confined to the proportional response or announcement of our position.

 

Press Statement of Permanent Representative of DPRK to UN

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Kim Song, permanent representative of the DPRK to the UN, issued the following press statement on Jan. 13:

Another unusual meeting was convened in the UN arena today, undermining and sacrificing the sacred name and noble mission of the UN, a signpost and an absolute symbol of justice and equality.

The retaliatory blow of Russia was called into question.

The emergency meeting of the UN Security Council convened under Ukraine's unilateral claims never means the international support for the appeal of a "victim".

It is just an extension of the customary practice of the Western cavilers who used to groundlessly slander the just exercise of the right to self-defence of a sovereign state.

The target of denunciation and rejection is the Kiev authorities who committed illegal military terrorist attacks on Russia and those forces who actively patronized them.

I express serious concern and strongly denounce and reject the shameless acts of Ukraine which covered up its heinous terrorism against Russia and took issue with Russia over its legitimate measures against it.

The Ukrainian crisis was obviously caused by the confrontation policy of the U.S. and the West which have violated Russia's reasonable and legitimate security interests and escalated NATO's eastward advance.

The responsibility for all the incidents lies entirely with the parties who created the preconditions for them.

The terrorist act targeting the absolute sovereignty of a country can never be justified, and retaliation of justice can never be demonized by any assertion.

The use of military means by the armed forces of the Russian Federation is an expression of its absolute will not to tolerate threats to its national sovereignty and a just exercise of the right for defending its legitimate rights and interests.

Consistent and invariable is the DPRK's stand to fully support the just cause of the Russian Federation for defending the national sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and interests.

The international community should heighten vigilance over the West's sinister attempt to turn black and white, distort the facts and change the victim and perpetrator, and should make responsible efforts to defend genuine international justice, peace and stability.

Vor 80 Jahren, am 17. Januar 1946, wurde auf Initiative des grossen Führers Genossen KIM IL SUNG der Sozialistische Patriotische Jugendverband (SPJV) gegründet.

Er ist bis heute die revolutionäre Avantgardeorganisation der Jugend der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) und die Reserve der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK).

Der Jugendverband lässt sich von der vom Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG begründeten Juche-Ideologie leiten.

Der SPJV leitet die gesellschaftlichen Aktivitäten der Jugendlichen beim Aufbau des Sozialismus an.

Im Lauf seiner Geschichte wechselte der Verband mehrmals seinen Namen, entsprechend den gesellschaftlichen Realitäten.

Gegründet als Demokratischer Jugendverband Koreas (DJVK) im neuen demokratischen Korea kurz nach der Befreiung (15. August 1945), wurde er 1964 in Verband der Sozialistischen Jugend der Arbeit Koreas (VSJAK) umbennannt, um der neuen Aufgabe des Verbands beim Aufbau des Sozialismus in der DVRK Rechnung zu tragen.

Zum 50. Jahrestag seiner Gründung im Januar 1996 erhielt der Verband den Namen Sozialistischer Jugendverband KIM IL SUNG, im Jahr 2016 den Namen Kimilsungistisch-Kimjongilistischer Jugendverband, um schliesslich am 10. Kongress des Jugendverbands im Jahr 2021 seinen heutigen Namen Sozialistischer Patriotischer Jugendverband (SPJV) zu erhalten.

Nach dem Ableben des Präsidenten KIM IL SUNG (8. Juli 1994) wurde der SPJV vom Vorsitzenden KIM JONG IL angeleitet, und seit dessen Ableben (17. Dezember 2011) vom hochverehrten Marschall KIM JONG UN.

Unter der Leitung des Jugendverbands vollbrachte die Jugend der DVRK grosse Leistungen des Patriotismus. Im Vaterländischen Befreiungskrieg (Korea-Krieg, 1950-1953) kämpfte sie heldenhaft an der Seite der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA) gegen die USA-Aggressoren.

Der SPJV gehört dem Weltbund der Demokratischen Jugend (WBDJ) an.

Im Jahre 1989 war er Gastgeber der 13. Weltfestspiele der Jugend und Studenten, die in Pyongyang stattfanden. Dabei vermittelte er der progressiven und friedliebenden Jugend der Welt ein wahrheitsgetreues Bild des sozialistischen Korea und seiner beispielhaften Errungenschaften.

Der SPJV kämpft auf internationaler Ebene für den Weltfrieden und gegen die Kriegs- und Konfrontationspolitik des Imperialismus.

Wir beglückwünschen den SPJV herzlich zum 80. Jahrestag seiner Gründung und wünschen ihm weitere grosse Erfolge beim Aufbau und der Verteidigung des Sozialismus.

Kim Song, ständiger Vertreter der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) in der UNO, gab heute eine Presseerklärung ab.

Er verurteilte die von der westlichen Staatengruppe auf Bitten der Ukraine einberufene Sitzung des UNO-Sicherheitsrats zur Ukraine-Krise.

Die Ukraine habe sich als "Opfer" aufgespielt.

In der Presseerklärung wurden die militärischen terroristischen Angriffe des Kiewer Regimes auf Russland verurteilt.

Die Ukraine-Krise sei von der Konfrontationspolitik der USA und des Westens, die die legitimen Sicherheitsinteressen Russlands verletze und die Osterweiterung der NATO vorantreibe, angestiftet worden.

Die militärische Reaktion der Streitkräfte der Russischen Föderation sei eine Antwort auf die Bedrohung ihrer nationalen Souveränität.

Die DVRK unterstütze konsequent und unabänderlich die gerechte Sache der Russischen Föderation für die Verteidigung ihrer nationalen Souveränität, territorialen Integrität und Sicherheitsinteressen.

Der Westen solle aufhüren, aus Schwarz Weiss zu machen und die Fakten zu verfälschen.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Guides Fourth-stage Construction Project in Hwasong Area Nearing Completion

Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave field guidance over the fourth-stage construction project in the Hwasong area nearing completion on Jan. 10.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and other senior party and government officials.

He was greeted on the spot by Vice-Premier Kim Jong Gwan and officials of the headquarters for building 50 000 flats in Pyongyang and designing organs.

Thanks to Kim Jong Un's grand plan for the capital city construction and energetic guidance to turn the capital city of the DPRK into a world-class civilized city, a large architectural group of another style different from the past embodying a good harmony of architectural formative and artistic beauty and advanced nature has sprung up in the Hwasong area to demonstrate its majestic and peculiar appearance.

The construction of 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area, pushed forward under the 2025 capital city construction plan decided by the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, is now under way at 99 percent of the total project.

Kim Jong Un first looked at the layout of buildings and a general map showing the bird's-eye view of housing construction area in Hwasong to learn in detail about the construction project.

Through the struggle for building 50 000 flats in Pyongyang, which has been pushed ahead with in the period of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, our architectural field is making remarkable progress and the potential of our state is being redoubled, he said, adding this is great progress that vividly shows the prosperity and development of the country along with the success in remarkably enhancing the strategic function and position of the capital city.

He referred to the important feature of the fact that the construction of the Hwasong area, planned and started for the solution of the housing problem in the capital city, has been converted into the one of attaining all components and functions as a full-fledged urban administrative district.

He said that in the last two years we have put main stress on improving the rational arrangement and function of urban components in the capital city construction and focused great attention and guidance on it, adding that the function and appearance of the capital city are undergoing signal change accordingly and that we have formulated a theory and set a model example and result in the combination of urban formation and architectural elements.

Expressing satisfaction over the correct implementation of the Party's decision on building the Hwasong area as a functional prototype of administrative district, he said that if the construction plan for 2026 is carried out, the Hwasong area will be the most developed area in the capital city which perfectly embodies the political, economic and cultural functions as an urban administrative district, and this will powerfully lead the construction, to be carried out across the country in the future, as experience like a textbook and standard in not only prosperity and history of construction of our capital city but also the field of architecture, especially in the urban formation.

He expressed his view on drawing up a plan for the capital city construction to be submitted to the 9th Congress of the WPK.

He went round Saeppyol Street newly built in the Hwasong area.

Thanks to his direct initiative and guidance, another architectural group, in which high-rise, medium- and low-storied apartment houses, commercial and service facilities and other public buildings are in ideal harmony, is presenting a spectacular sight in the Hwasong area, apart from the construction plan of 10 000 flats at the fourth stage.

He said that the capital city should always play a leading role in promoting the steady cultural development of the country, adding that for this purpose it is necessary to regularize the construction law in detail, build in a peculiar way standardized facilities with the function for welfare and sports service essential to residential districts and actively develop and arrange new service occupations capable of satisfying the cultural needs and demands of citizens.

Going round houses in Saeppyol Street, he expressed satisfaction.

Watching with pleasure the Hwasong area which has become a brilliant landscape of socialist civilization, he said with pride that the capital city has really changed and that the five-year hard-fought struggle is worthwhile. The scope and goal of our struggle are being further expanded and raised and the eye-opening changes are becoming a sure trend representing today's Korea, along with the construction projects being widely conducted on a nationwide scale, he added.

He stressed that the speed of such changes should be defined as the speed of advance of the Korean revolution and it should be turned into the custom of Korean-style socialism to have a new miracle in the season when every year ends, saying that the Hwasong area is a symbol of the times convincing one of the bright future of our cause making a more dynamic advance and making a leap forward day by day towards the goal of building a highly civilized state with far-reaching ideal.

Saying that construction is a revolution disallowing self-congratulation or satisfaction even a moment and that architecture should be steadily oriented to new things and constantly developed as a visual expression of the contemporary ideology and cultural level, he stressed the need to steadily boost the potential capability of designing and construction work. And he set forth the important tasks that would serve as guidelines for implementing the construction policy.

Stressing that it is a major principle of the Party's policy on the capital city construction to set new standards in urban management and pay deep attention to cultural environmental management including greening, he indicated the orientation and ways for implementing it.

He expressed belief that the builders of the capital city would successfully complete the new streets for the people as monumental edifices of the times with their redoubled wisdom, enthusiasm and fighting spirit, cherishing the unusual honor and pride of being worthwhile creators and pioneers writing a new history of prosperity and development of the country.

Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued the following press statement "The ROK authorities can not evade their responsibility for the grave violation of our sovereignty" on January 10:

On January 10, the ROK Ministry of Defence repeatedly stressed that the recent drone infiltration was not a military operation and expressed its will to thoroughly investigate the possibility as a civilian deed. We pay attention to the publication of such stand.

I, personally, appreciate that the ROK Ministry of Defence took a wise choice for survival when it made public its official stand never to provoke or irritate us.

If the ROK opts for provocation against us again in the future, it will never be able to deal with the terrible consequences to be entailed by it.

The present authorities of Seoul are not entitled to treat the past case of drone infiltration into Pyongyang, committed by the former rogue Yoon regime, as other's deed.

Which regime committed the case is a matter of debate within the same family. To us, the case is a grave infringement upon the DPRK's inviolable sovereignty committed by the ROK, no matter whether Yoon or Ree did.

Fortunately, the ROK's military expressed an official stand that it was not done by itself and that it has no intention to provoke or irritate us. But a detailed explanation should be made about the actual case of a drone that crossed the southern border of our Republic from the ROK.

Now in the ROK there exists an attempt to gloss the grave border-crossing infiltration as a "civilian case", alongside the assertion that "the drone was composed of low-cost conventional components that can be easily purchased" and "it is a type sold for recreational, commercial and industrial purposes." But the essence of the situation lies not in whether its manipulator is from the military or civilians.

We don't care whether it is a type that can be easily purchased and made or not, whether it is for military use or civilian use, whether its parts are low-cost or high-cost ones, and whether it is a military or civilian deed, as that is not the one we want to know.

Clear is just the fact that the drone from the ROK violated the airspace of our country.

It is undeniable that video data collected by the drone are related to the uranium mine and its settling pond, the former Kaesong industrial zone and our border guard posts, which they may have interest in. Furthermore, there actually existed the flight plan and records in the drone. This requires explicit explanation.

Given their assertion that it is not a military drone, it seems that they are seeking to argue that it is not a sovereignty violation.

No matter who is the perpetrator and whether it is a deed by any civilian organization or individual, the authorities responsible for national security can never evade their responsibility for it.

The ROK military once bragged about "real-time drone detection and response system based on latest technology", "multi-layer defence system based on the cooperation between citizens, government, military and police" and "dense anti-air defence network". They are insisting they were "ignorant" of the flying object crossing the border at a low altitude after taking off in broad daylight in an area near the border with our country. This is really unreasonable and will invite criticism from their population.

The ROK already earned a "reputation" for its sheer impudence and unreasonable insistence when it committed a provocation by infiltrating a drone into the sky above Pyongyang in 2024.

The ROK authorities can never evade the responsibility for infringing upon our sovereignty and would be well advised to seriously consider a dear price for it.

If they brand it as a deed of a civilian organization and then try to assert a theory that it is not an infringement upon the sovereignty, they will see a lot of UAVs by the DPRK's civilian organizations.

Anyhow, the recent drone infiltration helped us to have clearer understanding of the ROK, a group of hooligans and scrap, once again.

Kim Yo Jong, Vizedepartementsdirektorin des Zentralkomitees der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK), gab am 10. Januar folgende Presseerklärung ab: Die ROK-Behörden können sich nicht vor ihrer Verantwortung für die gravierende Verletzung unserer Souveränität drücken.

Wie sie feststellte, habe das Verteidigungsministerium der ROK am 10. Januar behauptet, dass die jüngste Drohneninfiltration in die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) keine militärische Operation gewesen sei und dass die Möglichkeit, dass ein Zivilist dafür verantwortlich sein könnte, untersucht werde.

Kim Yo Jong sagte dazu: "Ich persönlich schätze es, dass das Verteidigungsministerium der ROK eine weise Entscheidung für das Ueberleben getroffen hat, als es den offiziellen Standpunkt, uns nie provozieren oder irritieren zu wollen, bekanntgegeben hat.

Falls die ROK dafür optiert, uns in Zukunft wieder zu provozieren, wird sie nicht imstande sein, den schrecklichen Konsequenzen zu entgehen."

Der Fall sei eine gravierende Verletzung der Souveränität der DVRK durch die ROK, egal ob das Regime von Yun oder das von Ri sie begangen hat.

Gegenwärtig gebe es in der ROK die Tendenz, die grenzüberschreitende Infiltration als "zivilen Fall" zu bezeichnen.

Kim Yo Jong unterstrich: "Klar ist der Fakt, dass die Drohne aus der ROK den Luftraum unseres Landes verletzt hat."

Die verantwortlichen Behörden der ROK könnten sich nicht vor ihrer Verantwortung drücken.

In der Presseerklärung wurde an die schwerwiegende Provokation der Infiltration einer Drohne in den Luftraum über Pyongyang im Jahre 2024 erinnert.

Wenn die ROK behaupte, es sei eine zivile Organisation gewesen und es stelle keine Verletzung der Souveränität dar, würden zivile Organisationen der DVRK viele unbemannte Luftfahrzeuge in die ROK fliegen lassen.

Kim Yo Jong sagte abschliessend: "Jedenfalls hat uns die jüngste Drohneninfiltration erneut gezeigt, dass die ROK eine Bande von Hooligans und Schrott ist."

Wir unterstützen entschieden die warnende Presseerklärung der Vizedepartementsdirektorin Kim Yo Jong. Auch wir betrachten die ROK als eine kriminelle Bande von Kriegsbrandstiftern, die die DVRK liquidieren wollen. Doch das wird ihnen nie gelingen. Für weitere Provokationen werden sie einen hohen Preis bezahlen müssen.

Wenn die ROK als "Staat" überleben will, muss sie auf weitere Provokationen gegen die DVRK verzichten.

Statement of Spokesman for General Staff of Korean People's Army

Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army made public a statement "The Republic of Korea should be ready to pay a high price for having committed another provocation of infringing on the sovereignty of the DPRK with a drone" on January 9.

The following is the full text of the statement:

The Republic of Korea, a group of hooligans who stunned the world by causing an incident in which their drone violated the airspace of Pyongyang in October 2024, committed another grave infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK by making its drone violate the DPRK's airspace from the outset of the year.

On January 4, the Korean People's Army sub-units on duty for border air surveillance detected and tracked an air target moving northward in the sky over the area of Hado-ri, Songhae-myon, Kanghwa County of Inchon City. They tactically allowed it to fly 8 km into the DPRK's airspace and struck it with special electronic warfare assets and forced it to fall to a place 1 200 meters away from Height 101.5 in Muksan-ri, Kaephung District of Kaesong Municipality.

The crashed drone was equipped with surveillance devices.

Relevant intelligence and specialized investigation organs took away the remains of the fallen drone to analyze its flight plan, flight history and video data.

According to the analysis result, the drone, which took off in an area of Kanghwa County, Inchon City of the ROK, at around 12:50 on January 4, was set to film the DPRK's major objects while flying a total distance of 156 km at a height of 100~300 meters at the speed of 50 km an hour for three hours and ten minutes, entering Kaephung District of Kaesong Municipality and the areas of Phyongsan and Kumchon counties of North Hwanghae Province under the DPRK's territory and then returning to Joksong-myon, Phaju City, Kyonggi Province of the ROK, via Kaephung and Phanmun districts and Jangphung County, Kaesong Municipality.

The two cameras of the drone before its crash had videos of the DPRK's areas recorded for 6 minutes 59 seconds and 6 minutes 58 seconds.

The relevant video data are a clear proof that the drone violated the territorial air of the DPRK for surveillance and reconnaissance of its area.

Even after the change of a regime of hooligans in Seoul, the ROK has continued to committee such acts of provocation by drones near the border.

Availing ourselves of this opportunity, we cannot but mention about the fact that the ROK committed a provocative act of conducting surveillance and reconnaissance of our major objects by flying a drone into the territorial air of the DPRK in September last.

The enemy's drone, which took off in the area of Joksong-myon, Phaju City, Kyonggi Province of the ROK, at around 11:15 on September 27 last year, was dropped by the electronic strike by the special military technology means of our 2nd Corps to a paddy field in the area of Sasi-ri, Jangphung County, Kaesong Municipality at around 14:25 while returning via Kaesong Municipality after infiltrating into the sky above Phyongsan County, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

According to the analysis of its flight plan and recorded flight history, this drone took off at Jangjwa-ri, Joksong-myon, Phaju City, Kyonggi Province, and it was set to film our side's major objects, including some in Phyongsan County of North Hwanghae Province, Mt Janam in Kaesong Municipality, Panmunjom, former Kaesong Industrial Zone and military posts near the border line, while flying a total distance of 167 km at an altitude of 300 meters at the speed of 50 km an hour for three hours and twenty minutes in the sky over Kaephung District of Kaesong Municipality, Phyongsan County of North Hwanghae Province and then Kaephung and Phanmun districts of Kaesong Municipality under the DPRK's territory before returning to its base.

Like the recently crashed drone, the then fallen drone was a small fixed-wing drone, a clear surveillance and reconnaissance mean capable of flying at a height of less than 500 meters for a maximum of six hours and of capturing ground objects with a high-resolution optical camera tipped at the bottom of its body.

Its communication and navigation mode, flight plan, flight history, video data, etc., go to prove that the drone conducted an air reconnaissance and was specially made for it.

Recorded on the camera of the then drone was 5-hour and 47-minute video data on major objects of our region.

Those drones freely passed through the sky over the area, where the ROK army has intensively deployed various radars for detecting low-altitude targets and anti-drone equipment, after making a daytime takeoff at a sensitive frontline area of the ROK where civilian access is strictly prohibited. The fact makes it easy to guess who is behind the drones' infiltration.

Saying in public that it is necessary to drill even a hole like a needle point in order to communicate with the DPRK, the ROK does not stop committing provocative acts against it. It helped us again to have hostility toward the ROK.

Our stand is clear.

The ROK is the enemy, the most hostile towards us, that remains unchanged in its nature and it is the target to be certainly destroyed by us if it attacks.

The ROK is a perfect copy of Kiev's lunatics.

The international community should clearly understand who is the root cause of escalating tension on the Korean peninsula and inviting the danger of armed conflict.

We strongly denounce the hooligans' serial outrageous encroachment upon our sovereignty and undisguised provocative acts against us and seriously warn the ROK authorities who revealed once again their black-hearted intention to have a showdown with us.

They should immediately stop an act of inviting their destruction.

The ROK military warmongers will be surely forced to pay a dear price for their unpardonable hysteria.

In den letzten 35-36 Jahren seit dem Kollaps des Sozialismus in Mittel- und Osteuropa und dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion wurde der USA-Imperialismus immer aggressiver.

Er griff eine Vielzahl souveräner Staaten an, darunter Jugoslawien, Irak, Afghanistan, Libyen, Syrien und Iran.

Unter der gegenwärtigen Administration kennt der Grössenwahn des USA-Imperialismus keine Grenzen mehr.

Am 3. Januar dieses Jahres überfielen die USA-Imperialisten die Bolivarianische Republik Venezuela, nahmen deren Präsidenten Nicolas Maduro und seine Frau gefangen und verschleppten sie nach New York, um dort eine zynische und illegale Prozessfarce gegen sie zu eröffnen - für etwas, was sie gar nicht getan haben.

Damit nicht genug, drohen die USA auch Kuba und Kolumbien mit einem Angriff.

Und sie schrecken nicht einmal davor zurück, mit der Annexion Grönlands, Kanadas und Mexikos und deren Eingliederung in die USA zu drohen.

Sie drohen auch Iran mit einer weiteren Aggression, nachdem sie das Land im letzten Jahr mit Unterstützung Israels angegriffen und bombardiert hatten.

Der grössenwahnsinnige USA-Imperialismus stellt gegenwärtig die ganze Welt auf den Kopf und ist daran, einen dritten Weltkrieg zu provozieren.

Doch es gibt glücklicherweise ein Land, das die USA-Imperialisten nicht anzugreifen und zu besetzen wagen: die Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK).

Die USA-Imperialisten versuchen seit 1953, sich für ihre Niederlage im Korea-Krieg zu rächen. Sie bereiten seither mit einer langen Serie von politischen, militärischen und ideologischen Provokationen einen neuen Korea-Krieg vor.

Doch alle Aggressions- und "Regimewechsel"-Verschwörungen Washingtons sind gescheitert und werden auch in Zukunft scheitern!

Die vom Genossen KIM IL SUNG begründete und vom Genossen KIM JONG IL und vom Genossen KIM JONG UN weiterentwickelte Juche-Ideologie und ihre Songun-Politik (Priorität der militärischen Angelegenheiten) versperren den unersättlichen Yankees den Weg zu einem erneuten Ueberfall auf die DVRK.

Die Juche-Ideologie und die Songun-Politik sind die besten Waffen gegen eine imperialistische Aggression und gegen den "Regimewechsel".

Die Juche-Ideologie bedeutet: ideologische Revolution, unabhängige Politik, selbstgenügsame Wirtschaft und Self-reliance in der Verteidigung.

Eine weitere unbesiegbare Waffe der DVRK ist die einmütige Geschlossenheit des koreanischen Volkes um die Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) und den geliebten obersten Führer, der sich unermüdlich für das Glück und Wohl der Nation und des Volkes einsetzt.

Alle diese Elemente machen die DVRK von aussen wie von innen unangreifbar.

Die vom USA-Imperialismus in den letzten 3-4 Jahrzehnten angegriffenen und besetzten Länder hatten nichts Vergleichbares und wurden deshalb zu einer mehr oder weniger leichten Beute.

Eines steht fest: Auch wenn sich die Welt noch so dramatisch und brutal ändert und Washington noch weitere Länder angreift und besetzt, werden es die USA-Imperialisten auch in Zukunft nicht wagen, die DVRK anzugreifen.

Mit den Atomwaffen und ballistischen Interkontinentalraketen (ICBM), über die die DVRK zu ihrer Selbstverteidigung verfügt, wäre es ein Leichtes, auch das Territorium der USA anzugreifen und damit Vergeltung zu üben. Das weiss man in Washington und lässt deshalb die Finger von der DVRK.

Und man weiss in Washington auch, dass ein Angriff auf die DVRK das Ende des arroganten, selbstherrlichen und grössenwahnsinnigen "American Empire" wäre.

Mit der Juche-Ideologie, der Songun-Politik und der einmütigen Geschlossenheit der ganzen Gesellschaft verteidigt das sozialistische Korea seine Souveränität und Sicherheit und den Weltfrieden.

Hypersonic Missile Launching Drill Conducted in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- A sub-unit under a major firing strike group of the Korean People's Army conducted a missile launching drill on January 4.

The drill was conducted as part of the operational evaluation of the sustainability, effectiveness and operation of the DPRK's war deterrent while evaluating the readiness of the hypersonic weapon system, verifying and confirming its capability for fulfilling mission and developing the missile soldiers' firing capability.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, oversaw the launching drill.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it is a very important strategic task to maintain and expand a powerful and reliable nuclear deterrent through the sustained verification of key components of war deterrence and the improvement of its performance and the mastering of operational capabilities.

He said, appreciating the drill:

"Through today's launching drill, we can confirm that a very important technology task for national defence has been carried out.

The missile soldiers showed the readiness of the DPRK's nuclear forces without regret and gave confidence in it.

Important achievements have been recently made in putting our nuclear forces on a practical basis and preparing them for an actual war. This potential is an outcome of the Party's line on building up the national defence and its policy on attaching importance to defence science and technology and a valuable result of our outstanding scientific and technological group.

We must continuously upgrade the military means, especially offensive weapon systems. It is just an essential undertaking for self-defence. In addition, to make the rivals recognize the constant mobilization of our strategic offensive means and their fatality itself in a steady and repeated way is an important and effective mode of exercising war deterrence.

To be honest, our such activity is clearly aimed at gradually putting the nuclear war deterrent on a highly developed basis. The reason why it is necessary is exemplified by the recent geopolitical crisis and complicated international events."

The hypersonic missiles, launched from Ryokpho District, Pyongyang Municipality, to the northeast direction, hit the targets 1 000 km away from the East Sea of Korea.

Kim Jong Un expressed thanks to the sub-unit participating in the drill for opening the prelude of the first combat drill in the new year with amazing launching and fully displaying the striking capability of the strong army, and extended New Year greeting to all the officers and men of the missile forces doing their best in carrying out their combat duty across the country and devoting themselves to their responsible duty for national defence.

He expressed expectation and belief that all the missile forces would remain faithful to their sacred mission as a reliable shield for defending the sovereignty and security of the DPRK by fulfilling their consistent and responsible combat duty under iron discipline.

Among the spectators were Kim Jong Sik, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK and Jang Chang Ha, general director of the Missile Administration of the DPRK.

 

DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesperson on Venezuelan Situation

Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on January 4 as regards the fact that the U.S. wildly violated the sovereignty of Venezuela:

We are paying attention to the gravity of the present Venezuelan situation caused by the U.S. high-handed act, in connection with the increase of instability to be added to the already weakened regional situation.

The incident is another example that clearly confirms once again the rogue and brutal nature of the U.S. which the international community has so frequently witnessed for a long time.

The Foreign Ministry of the DPRK strongly denounces the U.S. hegemony-seeking act committed in Venezuela as the most serious form of encroachment on sovereignty and as a wanton violation of the UN Charter and international laws with respect for sovereignty, non-interference an2026-0d territorial integrity as their main purpose.

The days constitute the most valuable wealth in your life that cannot be bartered for a mountain of gold.

Witnessing the soaring spirit of our young people and seeing every creation associated with the passion and sincerity of our young generation, our people are picturing in their mind their motherland that will prosper forever; and seeing your vigorous growth, they are assured that our style of socialism is being succeeded.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Major Munitions Factory

Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, visited a major munitions factory on Jan. 3 to learn about the production of tactical guided weapons.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by Jo Chun Ryong, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Kim Jong Sik, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK.

He first looked round the technically updated production areas to learn in detail about the modernization.

Expressing the view that a more innovative plan and establishment of rational system are necessary for the flexible manufacturing system and production areas, he said that, from a practical point of view, there are still some deficiencies in the modernization of assembly process and that the design of the process and the arrangement of equipment based on it are important in eliminating them. And he gave instructions to reexamine the overall plans for the new construction and modernization of munitions industry enterprises in 2026 and propose again good plans for obtaining optimum results taking into account the above aspects.

He stressed that our munitions industry should conduct economic organization and direct production and technical upgrading in a scrupulous way so as to suit the special characteristics and the present situation where the current munitions production and the modernization project should be pushed ahead with simultaneously.

He appraised multi-purpose precision guided weapons produced by the factory.

Saying that the potential military and technological power and effectiveness of our excellent tactical guided weapon system have military effective value great enough to replace even the multiple launch rocket system in the future, he stressed that major units will be equipped with this weapon system in an organized way from the first half of this year. And he underscored the need to decisively expand the current production capacity by about 2.5 times in order to meet the unit-specific demand for equipment planned by the Ministry of National Defence and the General Staff.

He stressed the need to pay deep attention to improving the quality of products under contract.

He expressed belief that all the officials, technicians and workers of the factory would take the lead in upholding the Party's policy on munitions industry with greater technological innovation and production results.

Vor 5 Jahren, am 10. Januar 2021, wurde Genosse KIM JONG UN am 8. Parteitag der Partei der Arbeit Koreas (PdAK) zum Generalsekretär der PdAK gewählt.

Seit diesem historischen Ereignis wurden in der Entwicklung der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea (DVRK) grosse Erfolge erzielt.

Generalsekretär KIM JONG UN baute die militärische Macht der DVRK massiv aus. Ihre Position als Atomwaffenstaat wurde in der Verfassung festgeschrieben.

Die 20 x 10-Politik der regionalen Entwicklung (neue Betriebe in 20 Städten und Kreisen innert 10 Jahren) wird energisch und kraftvoll vorangetrieben.

Der vom 8. Parteitag der PdAK angenommene Fünfjahrplan geht seiner erfolgreichen Erfüllung entgegen.

Gegenwärtig wird unter der Führung des Generalsekretärs KIM JONG UN der 9. Parteitag der PdAK, der eine stolze Bilanz wird ziehen können, vorbereitet.

In der Aussenpolitik wurde die Freundschaft und Kooperation mit Russland mit dem Vertrag über Umfassende Strategische Partnerschaft zwischen der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Korea und der Russischen Föderation (Juni 2024) auf eine höhere Stufe gehoben.

Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made a speech at a New Year celebration.

Dear Pyongyang citizens,

Labour innovators and meritorious persons, who are invited to this meaningful new year celebration as representatives of our industrious and patriotic working people,

Faithful and courageous officers and soldiers of the Korean People’s Army,

Our students and artistes, who are adding more to the air of festivity of this night,

Comrades,

Happy New Year.

Availing myself of this opportunity, I extend new year greetings to the working people in all sectors, including the industrial and devoted agricultural workers and intellectuals, and other people across the country, who are greeting this meaningful moment at their workplaces, posts and streets, in their villages and houses, with high dignity and hopes.

And I send congratulations to the generals and other officers and soldiers of our heroic army, who are greeting the new year filled with the pride in having glorified the previous year with invaluable feats and with a pledge of sacred service. My militant salute goes to the officers and soldiers of the overseas operations units, who will be greeting the new year in the far-away alien land with deep yearning for their homeland.

I also convey warm greetings to the overseas compatriots, who are devoting themselves to the patriotic work for the development and prosperity of their motherland.

We have just seen off the unforgettable year 2025 with deep emotion.

It was a year filled with so fervent hopes and dear efforts.

We can feel proud that we boosted the strength and dignity of our country that year.

We rounded off everything perfectly, writing great events in every page of the year.

The civilization of the capital city transformed the regions, the transformation of the regions gave a spur to the development of the capital city, and all the regions, sectors and units across the country made progress in a competitive, balanced and simultaneous way. In this way, the historic cause aspiring to overall development of socialist construction has successfully passed its first stage.

Certainly, this is an honour that has resulted from our ideals and faith, our strength and strenuous efforts, and at the same time, it is clear proof that we are following the right path.

The year 2025 was a golden period of epochal significance and transformation that added value to the precious lives of our excellent people and their children, and it was a year, in which we saw in our mind’s eye the future of our state that will grow more powerful and beautiful thanks to their affection, wisdom and sweat.

I really appreciate everyone in this country for having worked hard all year round.

Last year, too, the service personnel of the People’s Army, who have always stood in the vanguard of our cause, went against heavy odds to lead the drive for creation and transformation and achieve amazing successes; they won precious victory even at the cost of their lives, thereby creating a heroic age to be revered by the coming generations.

We will always remember that the glory of this night has been brought by the ennobling sacrifice and exploits of the great sons of our country, and in the annals of our eternal victory, we will etch their names and images as ever-shining stars.

We entered the year 2025 with a heavy heart as we were confronted with huge tasks; what we believed in was nothing but our people’s patriotism and loyalty, and they were the real driving force that propelled our unprecedented struggle throughout the year.

So trustworthy were the workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex, who raised the torch of increased production ahead of others true to the Party’s intentions, so commendable were the agricultural workers, who reaped a bumper harvest by tilling their fields by the sweat of their brow in a display of patriotism, and really admirable were our young women footballers, who had the national flag of our Republic hoisted by winning international competitions.

All our people, irrespective of job or workplace – be it deep pit, construction site of a power station, school or scientific research institute –, gave full play to their self-respect, resourcefulness, strength and enthusiasm befitting Koreans, and they thus filled the pages of the chronicle for the great year with sincerity for the development and prosperity of their country.

Only a great people can write such a great chronicle for the times and history.

As this great people throw in their lot with the country and find their greatest honour and joy of life in devoting themselves to its victory and glory, our Party is invincible and our socialism is ever-prosperous.

I will never exchange for anything else the dignity and glory of living for our great people and waging the revolution for them, and live up to the expectations of all the people in the new year, too, by always remaining faithful to the socialism of their choice, to the sacred ideal of the people-first principle and to the dignity, rights and interests of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- All the people across the DPRK are paying the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, eternal leaders of the Party, state and people and great sages of the revolution, greeting the hopeful New Year with the great pride and honor of having successfully concluded the historic struggle of 2025 for the overall development of socialist construction, rallied close around the Workers' Party of Korea.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on January 1 on the occasion of the New Year 2026.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by leading officials of the Party and the government and senior officials of the Party Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Cabinet and ministries.

Also accompanying him were commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.

Flower baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un, together with other visitors, paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un on January 1 met with the schoolchildren participating in the New Year performance and warmly wished them the bright future.

Dezember 2025 eine Glückwunschbotschaft zum neuen Jahr an die Offiziere und Soldaten der Ueberseeoperations-Einheiten der Koreanischen Volksarmee (KVA).

Er würdigte deren heroischen Einsatz zur Verteidigung der Würde und Ehre der DVRK.
