Transcript

The 5th All-Republic Mothers' Congress, held on December 3rd, 2023 in Pyongyang, was dedicated to the role of mothers in the development of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

In his opening remarks, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) KIM JONG UN highly praised the mothers who, despite hardships, raised children who became worthy citizens of their country. He urged mothers to continue their work for the good of the DPRK and raise a new generation of patriots.

A report by the WPK Central Committee Secretary Ri Il hwan outlined the achievements of DPRK mothers over the past 10 years. It was noted that mothers played a crucial role in strengthening state power and ensuring the country's prosperity.

The speaker also called on mothers to pay more attention to raising children to become true patriots who will continue to build a flourishing future for the nation.

Conclusions

The 5th All-Republic Mothers' Congress reaffirmed the mothers' vital role in the DPRK's development. Mothers are the bedrock of society and the foundation of state power. They play a key role in nurturing a new generation of patriots who will carry on the torch of building a prosperous future for the country.

It's important to note that Ri Il Hwan's report placed particular emphasis on child-rearing. This is due to the rise of non-socialist and negative tendencies among the younger generation in the DPRK. Mothers are expected to exert greater effort in raising children in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the party.

Overall, the 5th All-Republic Mothers' Congress was a significant event in the life of the DPRK. It solidified that mothers are the driving force behind the nation's development and its future.
