Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Makes Commemorative Speech
Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School have significantly marked the 75th anniversaries of their founding. They have become established as the seat for education of children of revolutionary martyrs and as the base for training the backbones of our revolution decade after decade and century after century under the care of the great Party injecting eternal vitality to the lifeline of the Juche revolution that started on Mt Paektu.
Along the course of their development associated with the noble revolutionary obligation of and outlook on the future generations of the peerlessly great men, the schools have brought up a large contingent of the indomitable revolutionaries and patriotic loyalists firmly inheriting the lineage of Mangyongdae and Paektu to promote the growth of our Party, state and revolutionary armed forces, and consolidated the cornerstone guaranteeing the eternity of the country and the revolution. This is a proud review of the long history of the schools.
A grand commemoration ceremony took place at Mangyongdae Revolutionary School Wednesday.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, attended the ceremony.
The teaching staff, students and graduates were wrapped in immense passion and excitement as they were bestowed the greatest honor of commemorating the significant founding anniversaries of their schools in the presence of the respected Marshal whom they wished to see even in a dream.
Amid the playing of the welcome music, Kim Jong Un arrived at Mangyongdae Revolutionary School,
All the participants raised stormy cheers of "Hurrah!" for the great teacher and the kind-hearted Marshal leading step by step for the steady continuation of the lineage of the Juche revolution while holding the children of revolutionary martyrs in his broad bosom and looking after them with sunny love and affection.
He was greeted by senior officials of the schools.
Students of the schools presented Kim Jong Un with fragrant bouquets and put red ties around his neck.
Kim Jong Un waved back to the cheering participants, warmly congratulating the teaching staff, students and graduates of the schools on the anniversary day.
He was accompanied by Jo Yong Won, Choe Ryong Hae, Pak Jong Chon and Ri Pyong Chol, who are members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee.
Officials of the Party, government and military affairs who graduated from the schools attended the commemoration ceremony, together with officials, teaching staff, students and graduates of the schools.
Kim Jong Un made a significant commemorative speech.
He highly appreciated the brilliant feats performed in the sacred long road of the schools equivalent to the histories of our Republic and the regular revolutionary armed forces, saying that the 75-year-long histories of the schools are the ones that our Party has remained boundlessly loyal to the moral obligation to the revolutionary forerunners and devoted sincerity to training revolutionary reserves by staking its fate on the succession of the revolutionary cause.
He expressed his great trust that the revolutionary schools would take the lead as the models of teaching and education in the whole country in conformity with their important missions and basic duties as main pillars of the Juche revolution and pedigree establishments training the core backbones shouldering the sacred cause of our Party and powerfully pull the cause of Korean-style socialism in the forefront of the revolutionary ranks.
All the participants raised stormy cheers and applauded for the Marshal who provided immortal guidelines for the schools to firmly preserve and glorify their character and nature as the schools of the Workers' Party of Korea and reliably guarantee the dignity and prosperity of the eternal future of the nation and the revolution.
There was a march-past of the students of the schools commemorating their 75th founding anniversary.
Greatly satisfied and delighted to see the undaunted look full of passion of loyalty and spirit of the students of the schools ready to invariably uphold and follow our Party only and devotedly defend the revolutionary cause of Juche, Kim Jong Un raised his hands as a sign of encouragement.
Kim Jong Un went round the Revolutionary Museum of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School.
He said that it is the greatest treasure which cannot be bartered for anything and utmost pride for our Party, state and people to have such house of the great revolution guaranteeing the eternal bright future of our cause, the supreme seat of educating children of the revolutionary martyrs, the second to none center in the world, and giving steady continuity to the original blood vessel of the revolution.
He asserted that it is the idea of training revolutionary reserves by the Party Central Committee to faithfully bring up the children of the revolutionary martyrs as the resolute fighters reliably carrying forward the idea, faith and tradition of loyalty possessed by the forerunners and to become hardcore members of our revolution and pioneers in the progress and development.
He had a significant photo taken with teaching staff and students of the schools, voicing his expectation and conviction that they would always cherish their origin of the children of revolutionary martyrs and perform pivotal roles in accomplishing the Party's cause, as befits true sons and daughters of the Workers' Party of Korea who are raised with the water, air and soul of Mangyongdae.
At the end of the photo session, thunderous cheers of "Hurrah!" broke out again and fireworks were displayed and chanting of "Kim Jong Un" and "devoted defence" reverberated far and wide.
The commemoration ceremony became a significant occasion that strikingly demonstrated the high enthusiasm of the successors to cherish the Marshal's boundless trust and loving care for the children of the revolutionary martyrs getting deeper day by day as the bloodline of their destinies, remain absolutely loyal to the idea and leadership of the Party Central Committee and make dedication to the overall development of the Korean-style socialism in the van of the struggle, and the continuance and invincibility of the revolutionary cause of Juche getting all the more firm despite the replacement of generations.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Guides Test-Fire of Long-Range
Strategic Cruise Missiles
Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- A test-fire of long-range strategic cruise missiles was successfully conducted on October 12 amid powerful practical measures being taken to signally bolster up the national war deterrent as required by the prevailing situation and revolution.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, guided the test-fire of the long-range strategic cruise missiles on the spot.
Members of the Party Central Military Commission watched the test-fire.
The test-fire was aimed at further enhancing the combat efficiency and might of the long-range strategic cruise missiles deployed at the units of the Korean People's Army for the operation of tactical nukes and reconfirming the reliability and technical safety of the overall operational application system.
Two long-range strategic cruise missiles flew for 10 234 s along an oval and pattern-8 flight orbits in the sky above the West Sea of Korea and clearly hit the target 2 000 km away.
The successful test-fire clearly proved the correctness, technical advantages and actual war efficiency of the overall weapon system.
Expressing great satisfaction over the result of the test-fire, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un highly appreciated the high reaction capabilities of our nuclear combat forces which proved again their full preparedness for actual war to bring the enemies under their control at a blow through the unconditional, mobile, precise and powerful counterstrike by any weapon system.
Stressing again that the test-fire is our another clear warning to the enemies and the practical verification and clear demonstration of the absolute reliability and combat capacity of our state's war deterrent, Kim Jong Un added that we should continue to expand the operational sphere of the nuclear strategic armed forces to resolutely deter any crucial military crisis and war crisis at any time and completely take the initiative in it.
Saying that to steadily bolster up the national defence capabilities is our consistent and invariable revolutionary policy and keynote of struggle which can never be delayed and should neither be postponed in order to defend the dignity and sovereignty of the country and its right to existence, Kim Jong Un stressed that we should focus all efforts on the endless and accelerating development of the national nuclear combat armed forces.
Expressing expectation and conviction that the nuclear combat armed forces of the Republic would perfect the military preparedness more correctly and confidently, Kim Jong Un had a significant photo session with the members who contributed to the successful test-fire.
Happy laughter of our children is resounding endlessly through the schoolchildren’s palaces and camps built across the country by the motherly Party’s benevolent love for posterity and future which is devoted to the future of the fatherland.
Although everything was scarce after the liberation, President Kim Il Sung regarded bringing up the new generation as the most important work related to the future destiny of the country and nation, and he saw to it that a children’s palace was built at the Jangdae Hill located at the center of Pyongyang City by using the precious fund donated by patriotic business people.
Since then, more than 210 palaces, camps and halls for children have been built throughout the country thanks to the President’s lofty view on posterity and children of the whole country are developing their talents to hearts’ content there.
Until the last moment of his life, the President adorned this land with heartwarming legend of love for the future of the fatherland unknown to the world. Carrying on the President’s noble will, Chairman Kim Jong Il protected the laughter of our children pushing ahead with his revolutionary leadership even skipping over his sleep and meal in the 1990s - a period of harsh trial caused by the isolating and stifling attempts of the allied imperialist force and consecutive natural disasters.
The song “General and Children” sings about the Chairman continuing his front-line journey to Chol Pass, Mt. Osong, Panmunjom and Cho Islet and children happily camping at children’s camps built on scenic spots. This song tells as it is how the bright and cheerful laughter of our children was protected during the grave hard times, the forced march.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who embodies the noble view on posterity and future of President Kim Il Sung and General Kim Jong Il provided wise leadership to brilliantly modernize the comprehensive extracurricular education facilities for schoolchildren and the seedbed of talent education in conformity with the requirements of the new century.
Thanks to his love for posterity to bring up our children as a competent revolutionary talents and pillars in building a powerful socialist country with ample knowledge, high morality and strong body, Songdowon International Children’s Camp and Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace were reconstructed and modernized in May 2014 and November 2015 respectively, and a lot of children and pupils from every corner of the country – from the northern extremity to the area of demarcation line – and also all the children from revolutionary schools and secondary boarding schools are developing their talents and aptitudes to their hearts’ content in the children’s palaces and camps built all over the country.
For this reason, pupils and guests from other countries who visited the camps built in scenic places and extracurricular education facilities with modern learning environment said it is just surprising that there is a camp exclusive to children; they really envy the Korean pupils enjoying happy lives under the care of peerless great man; there is hardly a country like the DPRK that provides modern educational environment to schoolchildren; Korean children are lucky children born with all blessings.
Under the warm care of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with ceaseless great dedication to the bright future of the posterity the palaces of learning and homes of happiness built on this land will shine forever as a manifestation of love for the future of fatherland.
Okryu Children’s Hospital opened on October 13, 9 years ago under the benevolent loving care of the motherly Party. The hospital is faithfully fulfilling its duty as a hospital truly contributing to improvement of children’s health and our people call it house of loving care, children’s palace unique in the world.
The hospital is a 6-story building with a total floor space of more than 32 800 square meters. It is a world-class medical service center for children fit in with various treatment rooms, operation rooms and wards equipped with the latest medical facilities as well as classrooms and recreation rooms for juvenile in-patients.
This is not all.
When looking around Okryu Children’s Hospital, it feels like we are in a fairytale, in an art gallery.
The walls inside the hospital are covered with paintings of scenes from cartoons of our country and world-famous fairy stories.
These paintings, too, reflect the warm care of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for our children.
He proposed building of the children’s hospital, personally became a designer, supervisor and builder and organized powerful construction forces. From the issue of providing the latest medical facilities to the issue of naming the hospital, he gave detailed guidance and made great devotion. He also paid deep attention to the work for furnishing the hospital to children’s taste.
Taking account of the children’s mindset which dreads the mere thought of white gown and hospital, he reviewed around 1 700 paintings one by one and personally sent the artists to make sure that children would smile brightly even when they come to the hospital for treatment. Thanks to the parental love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, a fascinating world of fairytale has unfolded in Okryu Children's Hospital giving birth to the new phrase “art gallery in hospital”.
Around the world, there are museums like the Louvre which is famous as the world’s super-class art museum thanks to its history, paintings and the largest number of visitors and the distinctive Chaplin museum showing the life of a celebrated actor who left his mark as the king of comedy in the cinematic history.
However, nowhere in the world is an art gallery in hospital like the one in Okryu Children’s Hospital in which the whole medical service center is decorated with fairy tale paintings favoring the feelings of children.
This is indeed a precious outcome which is only achievable with the noble love for the future by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who hold up our children as treasures of the country and bestows all favors on them to grow up without anything to envy in the world.
Foreign friends who visited Okryu Children’s Hospital said with excitement that the hospital is much more like a palace for children; Korean children are always fully delighted and optimistic free from worries thanks to the great love of Comrade Kim Jong Un who cherishes the dreams of children and takes care of them to blossom out.
Thanks to the warm love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un which is even incomparable to the grace of the sun, the bright smile of our children will become ever more radiant.
