Anniversary of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's Work Marked
Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made public his famous work "The Cause of the Great Party of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Is Ever-Victorious" on October 4, Juche 104 (2015).
The work deals with the precious exploits and experience gained by the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and indicates the tasks and ways for developing the WPK into the party of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for all ages.
For the past seven years since the publication of the work, the leadership authority and fighting efficiency of the WPK have been remarkably strengthened under the uplifted banner of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and the validity of the socialist cause of Juche led by our Party and the invincibility of its victory have been clearly proved.
The Party building and activities were conducted as indicated by the President and the Chairman, and the Party work was oriented to implementing their behests.
Our Party has fully demonstrated its might as an ideologically pure entity, an integral organization and the party which achieved the unity in actions, being boundlessly loyal to the idea and leadership of the respected General Secretary.
It has made the spirit of respecting, loving and relying on the people prevail over the whole Party by making the people-first principle run through the overall Party work.
Regarding it as its pleasure and highest honor to undergo all sorts of hardships and worries for the people, our Party has written the epic of great love that no one knows in the world. This outlook on the people deeply moves all the people.
Happy laughter resounding in such ideal land, service centers and dwelling houses epitomizing the socialist civilization as Samjiyon City, the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, Songhwa Street and the terraced residential district of Kyongru-dong is a clear demonstration of our Party's wise guidance leading the people to new civilization.
The cause of our Party is ever-victorious forever as it is led by the respected General Secretary who has vigorously accelerated the building of a powerful socialist country by further strengthening our Party into invincible vanguard ranks with his outstanding idea and leadership.
Press Statement of DPRK Foreign Ministry Official
Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- Jo Chol Su, director general of the Department of International Organizations of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, made public the following press statement on Oct. 4:
On Sept. 30, the UNSC took a vote on the anti-Russia resolution submitted by the U.S. and it was rejected by Russia's righteous exercise of its veto right.
There were referendums in the People's Republic of Donetsk, the People's Republic of Lugansk and Regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye from Sept. 23 to 27. They were held in keeping with the UN Charter specifying the principles of the equality of peoples and their right to self-determination and according to legitimate methods and procedures so that the will of the residents of the two republics and the two regions could be fully reflected. An overwhelming majority of the voters supported the integration into Russia.
We respect the will of the residents who aspired toward the integration into Russia and support the Russian government's stand of making the above-said regions components of Russia.
To maintain the unchallenged "unipolar world", the U.S. interferes in the internal affairs of independent countries and infringes upon their legal rights by abusing the UNSC. This is the same old trick of the U.S., and the world has witnessed lots of similar illegal acts of the U.S. in not only the 20th century, but also the 21st century.
The U.S. unleashed wars of aggression against sovereign states including former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Iraq, but it has not been called into question by the UNSC.
The days are going never to return when the U.S. can use the UNSC as its shield and means of aggression for maintaining its supremacy.
Highhanded and arbitrary practices and partial and double-standard acts can never be pardoned in any case.
If the UNSC is going to violate the independent rights and fundamental interests of a sovereign state with the illogical and gangster-like double standards running counter to the aim and principle of the UN Charter, it will be held totally responsible for the consequences to be entailed by it.
Canada – Accomplice in Aggravation of Situation on Korean Peninsula
Canada conducted once again an operation called “Neon” starting from September 20 at the sea off the Korean peninsula under the pretext of keeping watch over acts of violating UN “sanctions resolutions”.
Canada is an active follower of the anti-DPRK hostile policy and the Indo-Pacific strategy of the U.S., and its reckless military moves are worsening the situation of the Northeast Asia.
Canada has been following the U.S. in its anti-DPRK hostile policy for more than 70 years, starting with the participation in the Korean war. It has consistently engaged in hostile acts against our Republic. For instance, it has conducted the operation “Neon” since 2018 under the pretext of implementing the UN “sanctions resolutions” fabricated by the U.S.
On September 23, the Prime Minister of Canada issued a so-called joint statement together with the traitorous south Korean puppet Yoon Suk Yeol who came to Canada. The statement took issue with our measures of strengthening self-defensive capabilities and clarified Canada’s position to continue with the operation “Neon”. This is yet another political provocation against us.
Canada’s servile act of following the U.S. is a perilous act of worsening the ever-aggravating situation in the Northeast Asia.
Since 2018, Canada has been dispatching military equipment including Canadian Air Force’s patrol plane“CP-140 Aurora” several times every year to the vicinity of Korean peninsula.
Recently, Canada commenced Operation “Neon” in the vicinity of Korean peninsula at a time when tension grows in the region. This will only result in aggravation of the regional situation.
The international media has branded Canada as an “absolute accomplice of the U.S.”. They ridiculed Canada by publishing their views which says “What is the reason for going through troubles of toiling a long way to the northeast Asia thousands of kilometers from home?” and “In what provision of UNSC resolution has it mentioned that you can keep surveillance over territorial airspace and waters in the vicinity of a sovereign state to monitor the evasion of UN sanctions?”.
The reality shows that the repeated remarks of Canada of its “independent diplomacy” and “active efforts for peace and security of the Pacific” are nothing but flowery words to hide its true nature as the faithful dog of the U.S.
Canada should carefully consider over the outcome of its deep-rooted tendency of toeing the U.S. line and control its actions.
Recently, 530th triplets (one girl, two boys) were born at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital in our country.
Kim Chun Ran, the mother of the triplets lives in Sonchon County, North Phyongan Province. She was admitted to the Maternity Hospital for more than 170 days and enjoyed the best medical care. The new born babies, first weighed 1.89kg, 1.91kg and 1.74kg respectively, but when they were leaving the hospital they weighed more than 4kg each. They also received the gifts of love, including a gold ring and ornament silver knives.
Our people, whenever they hear about new born triplets, are overwhelmed with joy and delight, and they also recollect with deep emotion the stories of noble love for posterity and future by the peerlessly great men.
President Kim Il Sung said that the more the triplets are born and the more the population increases, the more the country will prosper. And he took benevolent measures that all women who expect triplets are delivered of the babies at Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and the babies are all healthily raised up.
Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that the triplets are granted with gifts when they are born, i.e. ornament silver knives (our ancestors wore them as a symbol of self-protection and happiness from the olden times), gold rings (our women treasured them as a symbol of fidelity and wish for eternal happiness) as well as high-quality cloth to be used when they get married.
In July 1994, when all people across the country were shedding tears of blood in the demise of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il received a report that triplets born in Changdo-ri, Kimhwa County were at the risk of their lives. In order to save the lives of the mother and the babies, he immediately flew an airplane to the sky where the rain clouds are floating.
The measures of love for triplets taken by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il still continue on this land thanks to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Today in our country, triplets are under special care even before they are born, and after the birth, they grow up healthily under the love and benefits of the Party.
In the medical institutions, the pregnant women are examined with abdominal ultrasonic diagnosis equipment and all the women pregnant with triplets are brought to the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital where they are provided with the best conditions for delivery. And for those who live far away from the capital city, airplanes fly to bring them.
If they cannot come to the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital due to some unexpected reasons and give birth to the babies in regional hospitals, contingency measures are taken to form a medical team involving obstetricians and nurses of central hospitals and medical specialists of the province and the county.
And the mother and triplets or quadruplets are granted with medical equipment, medicines, baby clothes, high-quality blankets, tens of meters of cloth and cotton wool and various kinds of nutritious food including condensed milk, sugar, seaweed and honey.
Furthermore, subsidies for bringing up the children are paid every month until the triplets are 8 years old.
In the embrace of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who cares about the future generations with warm affection unequalled to the love of their own parents, triplets will enjoy blessed life in the future, too, as they did in the past.
Tangun and National Foundation Day
Tangun is the founding father of the Korean nation and the founder who built the first state in the history of Korea.
Originally, Tangun had long been regarded as a mythical being. But he was recognized as a real being in 1993 as his remains were unearthed in Kangdong County, Pyongyang.
Tangun, born as a son of a tribe chief in the Kangdong area of Pyongyang, tried hard to train martial arts from his childhood. Succeeding to his father, he became the chief at the age of 25. After revamping the primitive political mechanism, he organized power structure. In the early 30th century BC, he set up the capital at the Walled City of Pyongyang and founded Ancient Joson, the first slave state. According to identified data, he was active until he was over 60 years old, a rare-to-be-found macrobian in those days.
Thanks to his positive activities, Ancient Joson, which was founded as a small country in the Pyongyang area, developed into a big power covering vast areas by gradually conquering its minor neighbouring states.
As he founded the first state, the primitive ages came to an end in Korea, and the Korean nation entered the state era.
The Korean ancestors worshiped Tangun as the founding father of the nation and created various ceremonies, customs and myths related to him.
October 3, birthday of Tangun, is the National Foundation Day.
On the occasion, commemorative events take place in front of the Mausoleum of King Tangun which is located at the foot of Mt Taebak in Munhung-ri, Kangdong County, Pyongyang.
