Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun on Greatest Memorial Day of Our Party, State and People
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of demise of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, all the people and service personnel of the DPRK are filled with boundless yearning and reverence for him, the peerlessly great sage who built our Party and state into the genuine Party and country for the people and laid the eternal foundation of Korean-style socialism winning victories with independence in politics, self-support in the economy and self-reliance in national defence, regarding it as his lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and build a rich country with a strong army.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun at 00:00 on July 8, the greatest memorial day of our Party, state and people.
Accompanying him were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and other senior officials of the Party and the government, officials of the WPK Central Committee, leading officials of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Cabinet, commissions and ministries, and commanding officers of the armed forces organs.
Flower baskets were laid at the statues of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il.
Comrade Kim Jong Un, together with the participants, paid high tribute to the statues.
At the halls where the great leaders lie in state, Comrade Kim Jong Un made deep bows to them, praying for their immortality.
All the participants hardened their solemn will to more resolutely and courageously work in the vanguard of the gigantic struggle for transformation in the new era for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and for the eternal dignity and glory of our Party, state and people.
Newspapers on 32nd Anniversary of Demise of President Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Wednesday dedicate editorials and articles to the 32nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the revolutionary career of the President was the noble one of the great revolutionary and great man who trained the people and glorified the DPRK with the idea and ideal of believing in the people as in Heaven.
Thanks to the President, the Juche era, in which the dignity and value of the popular masses have shined on the highest level, was pioneered and a new history of socialist Korea winning victory after victory with the people-first principle was opened, the editorial says, and goes on:
The idea of the President on believing in the people as in Heaven is based on his consistent view of looking up to the people as in Heaven and serving them.
As he regarded and upheld the people as the most precious and powerful being in the world, the great leader, together with the people, liberated the country usurped by the Japanese imperialists, founded the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and built the regular revolutionary armed forces.
His idea of believing in the people as in Heaven is consistent with his boundless love, devotion and selfless, devoted service for the people.
He found his pleasure in the field guidance for the people and felt boundless joy in their happy laughter.
His sacred history of believing in the people as in Heaven is now being successfully carried forward by the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
Under the guidance of the General Secretary who is most thoroughly and perfectly embodying the President's idea and ideal of believing in the people as in Heaven, the DPRK will shine forever as a great country for the people.
Minju Joson in an article says that to faithfully uphold the ideology and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is a sure guarantee for turning the DPRK, our country associated with the noble patriotic desire of the President, into an eternally strong and thriving socialist power.
