Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Inspects Sites of Reconstruction of Flood-hit Areas in North Phyongan Province Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected again sites of reconstruction of flood-hit areas in North Phyongan Province on November 4. He was accompanied by Jo Yong Won and Ri Il Hwan, secretaries of the C.C., WPK, and cadres concerned of the C.C., WPK. The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was greeted by Ri Hi Yong, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, and commanding officers of the Korean People's Army units and the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade involved in the reconstruction. Thanks to the dynamic patriotic efforts of all the builders who have risen up as one in hearty response to the militant call of the WPK Central Committee to turn the flood-hit areas into ideal "modern rural city" by building the dwelling houses as civilized and modern as those in city, the flood-hit farm villages on an islet of the northwestern part of the country that suffered disasters are showing their new appearances every day while fully demonstrating the beautiful reality of superior socialist system of our own style and instilling confidence and optimism about the future. Going round the recovery areas in Ojok-ri of Uiju County and in Hadan-ri of Sinuiju City, he learned in detail about the reconstruction. He said that he always had a heavy heart due to the vivid memory of looking at the flooded villages in an emergency rescue of the local people just some months ago, adding that he is really pleased to look at the fine banks and see that dwellings of peculiar urban styles are being built in the safe zone in a competitive way. He noted with pleasure that a worthwhile and proper decision was made and that a great change was brought about with our own efforts. He highly praised the brilliant feats and innovations of the builders, expressing great satisfaction over the fact that the army, which has successfully fulfilled its sacred mission as the army of the Party and the people, and the young people, who have always been faithful to the honorable reputation as reliable reserves and advancing group of the Party, are making remarkable reconstruction successes with their unique courage, true to the call of the country and the revolution, in the site for the reconstruction of the flood-hit areas, the forefront of defending the people. We have come to believe in our strength once again through the on-going huge rehabilitation campaign and I regard it as mental wealth more important than any physical result, he said, adding: We are deeply experiencing our own tremendous strength once again and have become squarely convinced that the single-minded unity of our society, in which all people help and lead each other forward, is getting stronger in the spirit of self-development and self-determination and amid a sacred patriotic struggle. Saying we should take pride in the invincible spirit and might exclusive to our great state, never to be found in other countries, and ceaselessly create our future prouder and more worthwhile through a great demonstration of that spirit and might, he called for bringing about good fruition as planned by continuously waging an all-out honourable and patriotic campaign for the people who suffered misfortune and for healing the wounds of the country that suffered a natural disaster. Noting that a good beginning is important but a good ending is more important and the outcome of rehabilitation will be evaluated by the results of the remaining projects, he greatly encouraged the builders, calling on them to bring about greater innovations in the remaining days by carrying on the intensive struggle with the sense of responsibility, efforts and courage, ten times and one hundred times stronger than usual. Noting that it is necessary to reinforce the construction forces with more skilled workers and take some state measures to successfully finish the projects, he made a determination to complete the rehabilitation campaign at the highest level before the December Party plenary meeting and gave detailed instructions to successfully accelerate the reconstruction. Time has slipped away since young people and service personnel left for the reconstruction site in hot summer and new season has arrived, but a modern rural city has already taken shape in the disaster-stricken area once covered with mud only, and this indicates the change made by our young people through their creative struggle is faster than the change of season, he said, praising our young people and service personnel once again for having done a great deal of work to be honourable before the country and the times. He expressed conviction that an eye-opening new world would soon emerge in the area thanks to the indomitable struggle of the dependable builders who dedicate their patriotic sweat to every structure. The builders, who have all turned out once again to attain the sacred goal of their struggle with redoubled ambitious pluck and fighting spirit that they can lift even the earth under the trust of Kim Jong Un, were filled with a firm determination to create a new legendary tale of world-startling construction miracles in the flood-hit areas.
Press Statement of Vice Department Director of WPK Central Committee Kim Yo Jong Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made public the following press statement "Ever-escalating military threats of hostile forces only prove the validity of our line of bolstering up nuclear forces" on Monday: The U.S., Japan and the ROK frantically staged a combined air drill targeting our Republic once again in front of us on November 3. Various fighter jets of the three countries, led by U.S. strategic bomber B-1B, were involved in the drill under the signboard of "counteraction" and "warning" to our latest strategic weapon test. They reportedly got familiar with the "mode of promptly and correctly striking" the simulated opponent's core objects. The military gangsters of the ROK declared that they would further tighten the triangular military cooperation against us in the future, blustering "the drill showcased the strong countering will and capability based on the ROK-U.S.-Japan security cooperation, as well as the integrated extended deterrence execution faculty of the ROK-U.S. alliance to counter and deter ever-escalating nuclear and missile threats from the north." This is just another outright action-based explanation of the most hostile and dangerous aggressive nature of the enemy toward our Republic and, at the same time, another absolute proof of the validity and urgency of the line of building up the nuclear forces we have opted for and put into practice. Today upset of the balance of power between rivals on the Korean peninsula and in the region precisely means a war. And this is an undeniable objective reality. I point out once again that the U.S. and its followers held more than 20 rounds of various war confabs to map out plans for using nuclear weapons against our state this year alone and ceaselessly staged one hundred and tens of anti-DPRK military drills all the year round to implement them. The drastically increased number of war rehearsals like Freedom Edge, the first multi-domain joint military exercises between the U.S., Japan and the ROK, and Iron Mace, a nuclear operation drill simulating an all-out nuclear war on the Korean peninsula, posed a serious threat to not only our state but also regional peace and security. This year nuclear aircraft carrier strike groups, including the one of Theodore Roosevelt, were deployed near the Korean peninsula three times and the nuclear-powered strategic submarine Vermont made its first appearance in the ROK, while B-52H and other nuclear-capable strategic bombers flied in the sky above the Korean peninsula five times, updating once again the recent records of deployment of U.S. strategic assets. The critical security environment facing our state eloquently proves the inevitability of the strategic choice made by us to creditably defend our state's security and regional peace from the U.S. and its followers' aggressive and adventuristic military threats. The ever-escalating hysteric military threats of the rivals will further highlight the justness and urgency of our line and it will be implemented in corresponding dynamic and intensity. The line of bolstering up the self-defensive nuclear deterrent, being pursued by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is the most correct, one and only choice made by it in the current situation, and we will never vacillate in that way.
White Paper of DPRK Institute of Enemy State Studies Betrays Criminal Colors and Miserable Plight of Puppet Yoon Suk Yeol Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea made public on October 27 the final results of investigation into the case of a ROK-borne drone's serious encroachment upon the sovereignty of the DPRK, thus fully bringing to light the plot hatched by hideous criminals. The provocative wanton violation of the sovereignty of the DPRK is a product of the last-ditch effort of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime seeking to defuse its worst ruling crisis brought by its totally bankrupt internal and external policies through perpetration of shocking provocations on the Korean peninsula and to prolong its remaining days full of crimes. The DPRK Institute of Enemy State Studies on Saturday released a white paper disclosing the criminal colors and miserable plight of Yoon, a puppet rare to be found in other parts of the world, who adds to his crimes in a bid to escape the pitfall of ruin. The white paper says "Yoon's disastrous policy" has exposed the ROK to the danger of a nuclear war. Puppet Yoon's two and a half years in power were continuity of the "deadly gamble" that has exposed the whole ROK to the danger of a nuclear war. The puppet, gripped by the idea of hostility, let out such reckless remarks as "large-scale punitive retaliation", "not ruling out a war", "readiness for war escalation", "absolute preparations for war" and "end of regime" at security events held on different occasions, including the "June 25 war memorial day" and the "ROK army day", and at such security-related meetings as the meeting of major army commanders and the central combined defense meeting. Such abusive language worked as dangerous sparks thrown into a heated arsenal. Worse still, the puppet pushed the situation to an unpredictable phase by unhesitatingly abrogating the September 19 military agreement, the last safety gear for ensuring peace of the Korean peninsula, not content with malignantly slandering it as a "unilateral enemy-benefiting agreement in favor of the north only". The puppet has driven the situation to the brink of a nuclear war at breakneck speed by producing, together with his American master, such nuclear war declaration as "Washington declaration" in April last year, turning the ROK-U.S. alliance into a nuclear-based one and putting into full operation the ROK-U.S. nuclear consultation group and "guidelines for nuclear operation on the Korean peninsula". The puppet has got frantic in establishing the triangular military alliance with the U.S. and Japan and tightening the military nexus with even NATO far away from the continent, thus reducing the puppet ROK to a bridgehead for "the crusade in 21st century". The expanded nuclear war saber-rattling targeting the DPRK and its neighboring countries and the reckless moves to turn the ROK into an advanced base of multinational armed forces, pursuant to the U.S. strategy for world domination, has made the whole land of the puppet ROK a double and triple target of nuclear powers around it. Not content with this, the puppet Yoon group staged such hideous anti-DPRK moves as the scattering of political motivational rubbish and the resumption of loudspeaker broadcasting under the pretext of "freedom of expression", drawing the minute hand of the puppet ROK security clock closer to the time of war. Its ever-worsening military moves resulted only in the paradoxical consequences of pushing the DPRK to stockpile its nuclear weapons at an exponential rate and further develop its nuclear attack capability. The white paper discloses the fact that ruined Yoon has brought about an era of despair driving the people into a veritable hell. It was a starting point of great disaster that a stupid, who hardly passed the official's qualification exam after experiencing nine rounds of its kind, came to the presidential office. Yoon's two and a half years in office has clearly proved that it is not excessive to have asserted that it would be better for a dog to sit in the Ryongsan presidential office rather than him. Soon after coming to power, Yoon rigged up the horrible "prosecution Republic", as befits a former prosecutor enjoying wielding a sword. After giving major posts of over 30 power organs, including the puppet presidential office, to more than 180 gangsters of prosecutor origin, the puppet has blocked the anti-government struggle and staged a campaign to sweep away the political opposition camp under the pretext of "ensuring fairness". The retaliatory investigation into the ex-president, who set up a ladder of success for Yoon, and his whole family and close associates was intensified in an overall way, ranging from the investigation into their bank accounts to the seizure and search of houses and villas, which stunned the public and aroused strong backlash from the opposition parties. Self-righteousness, diehardism, arrogance and arbitrary practices constitute another disgrace of Yoon-style rule. The true colors of the "suicidal rule" of Yoon-style are being fully revealed through the shattered economy and people's livelihood. The debts of major large enterprises, which allegedly seize the lifeline of the puppet ROK's economy, are the hugest ones ever in history, and the debt rate of enterprises reaches 173.6 percent, which is far beyond business assets. Closures of many businesses have been witnessed this year, too, following the bankruptcy of one million independent businesses last year, amid the skyrocketing of prices due to the incompetence of Yoon who knows nothing about the economy. Medical reform, related to the increased entrants to medical universities, met with strong opposition in medical field from the beginning and has not been executed for more than one year in the puppet ROK. Furthermore, the collective resignation of doctors caused a great confusion called collapse of the medical system. It is becoming more common practice that more than 13 000 people, equivalent to one division, have committed suicide every year, maintaining the world's record in suicide. This is the present reality of the puppet ROK advocating "freedom" and "equality". Great irony is that the power holder behind the curtain who enacted the tragedy of the "ruined ROK" is not puppet Yoon but his wife Kim Kon Hui. Choe Sun Sil had manipulated Park Geun Hye behind her in the past, but Kim Kon Hui has dominated Yoon Suk Yeol to interfere in the state affairs and be engrossed in illicit fortunes, posing herself as the president. The white paper says that a wrecked ship, "Yoon Suk Yeol", is sinking. The ship "Yoon Suk Yeol", which set sail 30 months ago, blowing a siren of "fairness and common sense" and "freedom and peace", has got wrecked in the crisis of sinking without arriving even half at the opposite shore of his five-year term of office. The ship is now wrapped in violent waves, only sending an SOS in a hurry without elation at the time of its departure. More than 200 sorts of irregularities and corruption committed by sycophantic traitors and the Yoon's whole family kowtowing to the U.S. and Japan and wealth of power gathered by the presidential office and "Yoon's core bureaucracy" are filled in the wrecked ship to accelerate its sinking. The Yoon's approval rate at present is about 19 percent, a more dangerous numerical value than Park Geun Hye who was sent to prison after being impeached in the past. The support rate has rapidly declined in the sixties, the core supporters, to say nothing of the conservative forces who voted for the last presidential election, shaking the foundation of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime. In the whole of the puppet ROK, the struggle is now getting violent to oust Yoon so as to put an end to the misfortune, pain, disgrace and contempt it has experienced for two and a half years by making a wrong vote for him. Faced with the worst ruling crisis at present, puppet Yoon is making desperate efforts to find a way out for his remaining days in committing reckless criminal provocations against the DPRK. Fire can be extinguished by fire, but the crisis cannot be covered by crisis. The more desperately Yoon tries to escalate the present crisis and get rid of the abyss of ruin, the deeper he will be sunken due to his thrice-cursed crimes. The people's angry voices are shaking the whole of the puppet ROK with knell of punishment driving a nail in the coffin of Yoon Suk Yeol, a living dead.
