Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- The
respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party
of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic
of Korea, had talks with Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's
Republic of China, on June 8.
Comrade Kim Jong Un came to the
Kumsusan State Guesthouse to exchange warm greetings with Comrade Xi Jinping
and had a photo taken against the background of the national flags of the two
countries.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side
were Kim Jae Ryong and Ri Il Hwan, members of the Presidium of the Political
Bureau and secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Song Nam, member of
the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee and director of
the International Department of the C.C., WPK, Choe Son Hui, foreign minister
of the DPRK, No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, and Kim
Tok Hun, first vice-premier of the DPRK Cabinet.
Present from the Chinese side were Cai
Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, member of the
Secretariat and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee,
Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau and director of the Office of the
Foreign Affairs Commission of the C.C., CPC and minister of Foreign Affairs,
Liu Haixing, head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., CPC,
Tang Fangyu, director of the Policy Research Office of the C.C., CPC, Dong Jun,
minister of National Defence of the PRC, Zheng Shanjie, head of the National
Development and Reform Committee of the PRC, Wang Wentao, minister of Commerce
of the PRC, and other entourage members and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to
the DPRK.
Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly
welcomed Comrade Xi Jinping, who has visited Pyongyang in seven years, as the
greatest state guest, saying that your visit to Pyongyang as the first foreign
trip for this year is an expression of your top priority to the DPRK-China
friendship as well as the most encouraging support to the Korean people.
Pyongyang deems it as its honor, he said, adding your current visit will mark
an important occasion of showing once again that the DPRK and China have always
stood together on the right side of history for independence and justice and
their relations are definitely solid as they have stood the trials of history
under any international upheavals.
Mentioning the constancy and
invincibility of the DPRK-China relationship which is special in terms of the
tradition of friendship, the common cause of socialism and the invariable inheritance,
he gave a high appreciation of the fact that exchange and cooperation between
the two countries have vigorously developed in various aspects after the
Beijing meeting in September of 2025.
He affirmed that the WPK and the DPRK
government will as ever maintain the DPRK-China friendship as the most
important top-priority strategic work and do their utmost to strengthen the
bilateral relations into a model of the relationship between socialist states
and into an invariably special, genuine and solid strategic relationship and
that this is our immutable choice and will.
Our party, government and people are
rejoiced over the fact that the Chinese party, government and people have
achieved great world-startling successes in building a modern socialist country
and raised their international position to the absolute height under the wise
guidance of Comrade Xi Jinping, he said, stating that, no matter how the
situation may change, our party and government will fully support the policy
and stand of the Chinese party and government to defend the core interests on
the "one-China" principle.
Expressing his impressions of his
revisit to beautiful Pyongyang, Comrade Xi Jinping said he was pleased that in
recent years Comrade Kim Jong Un has made important achievements,
guiding the Korean-style socialism.
He said that the Chinese party and
government will remain unchanged in their firm stand to place great importance
on the traditional China-DPRK friendship, their firm support to the socialist
cause of the DPRK led by Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un
and their firm determination to defend the common interests of the both sides
and good strategic environment no matter how the international situation may
change.
He expressed his willingness to promote
greater advance of the China-DPRK relations along with the times by providing a
blueprint for the development of the China-DPRK relations in the new era
together with Comrade Kim Jong Un, with his visit as an opportunity, and
steadily boosting exchange and cooperation and thus to make a positive
contribution to accomplishing the socialist cause of the two countries and
promoting the wellbeing of the two peoples and promoting peace, stability and
prosperity in the region and rest of the world.
The top leaders of the DPRK and China
sincerely exchanged the experience gained in party- and state-building in the
course of advancing the socialist cause and discussed important issues for
putting the traditional DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations on a more
solid basis.
They also agreed to hold celebrations,
further strengthen the strategic communication through high-level visits
between the two parties and two countries and expand and develop exchanges and
cooperation in political, economic, cultural and other fields on the occasion
of the 65th anniversary of the conclusion of the DPRK-China Treaty of
Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance, in order to open a new chapter
of the development of the DPRK-China relations.
The talks exchanged views on international
and regional issues, discussed the issues for boosting the strategic
coordination and cooperation between the two parties and two countries, firmly
defending the sovereignty, security, development and interests of the two
countries and jointly defending peace and development in the region and rest of
the world in the complicated world political situation and reached a
satisfactory consensus of views on them.
The talks took place in a comradely and
friendly atmosphere.
The Pyongyang talks between Comrade Kim
Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of
the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Comrade Xi
Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of
China and president of the People's Republic of China, marked a historic
occasion of clearly demonstrating the invincibility of the DPRK-China
friendship which has steadily developed in the common struggle for
accomplishing the socialist cause and making a new milestone for the
development of the strategic cooperative relations between the two parties and
two countries.

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Comrade Xi
Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of
China and president of the People's Republic of China, on a state visit to the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Central Cadres Training
School of the Workers' Party of Korea on Tuesday.
Comrade Kim Jong Un, General
Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of
the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, accompanied him to the school.
Among the Chinese visitors were Cai Qi,
member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, member of the
Secretariat and director of the General Office of the C.C., CPC, Wang Yi,
member of the Political Bureau and director of the Office of the Foreign
Affairs Commission of the C.C., CPC and minister of Foreign Affairs, and other
entourage members and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.
Present there were secretaries of the
WPK Central Committee, including Kim Jae Ryong and Ri Il Hwan, members of the
Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the C.C., WPK.
Being honored to have the great leaders
of the two parties on its campus soon after it marked its 80th founding
anniversary, the school, the supreme political one of the DPRK, was filled with
a warm atmosphere for welcoming them at a historic time when communication,
concerted action and close cooperation between the two ruling parties of the
two countries constantly advancing under the banner of socialism have been
placed on a new strategic level.

A teacher presented a bouquet to Comrade
Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, in welcome of his
visit to the school.
Comrade Xi Jinping went round the
school, guided by Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Comrade Kim Jong Un briefed
Comrade Xi Jinping on the history of the school which has contributed to the
cause of building the working-class party by performing its sacred mission and
role to guarantee the lifeline and future of the Party for a long period of the
Korean revolution.

Comrade Xi Jinping appreciated that the
school was wonderfully built as befits the pedigree establishment for training
the backbone, guarantors of the permanent future of the socialist ruling party,
and it has concentrated its efforts on arming itself with theories and spirit
and improving its qualifications for training Party cadres while deeply imbuing
the students with the innovative ideas and theories of the WPK.
The students expressed gratitude to the
top leaders of the two parties with loud applause for their visit to the school
on the occasion of great importance in the history of the development of the
DPRK-China relations in the new era, which would remain in the memory forever.
The top leaders of the two parties took
an electric car to go round the campus of the school while exchanging
open-hearted views on the system of training future party cadres and
educational system and contents peculiar to the party school.
They expressed their willingness to
exert common efforts to make the party cadres training schools play a proper role
in strengthening the parties together while exchanging in depth the excellent
party-building experience and earnestly learning from each other by further
boosting exchange and cooperation between the two parties of the DPRK and
China.
Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade
Xi Jinping planted a tree together in commemoration of their visit to the
school.
A fir tree took root in the sacred land,
conveying the noble intention of the top leaders of the two parties to open up
a new chapter of firm comradely friendship, revolutionary unity and sincere
support and cooperation between the two parties and peoples of the two
countries and cultivate a more beautiful and rosier future.
A monument to the meaningful
tree-planting was unveiled.
When Kim Jae Ryong, member of the
Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee,
and Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, member of
the Secretariat and director of the General Office of the CPC Central
Committee, unveiled the monument together, leading officials and entourages of
both sides and teaching staff and students of the school warmly clapped,
looking up to the top leaders who are glorifying the new era of the development
of the friendly relations between the two parties and two countries.
Inscribed in the monument were the
letters in Korean and Chinese reading "DPRK-China friendship will be
evergreen. Tree planted by Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Xi Jinping on June
9, 2026".

Comrade Xi Jinping, General Secretary of C.C., CPC and President of
PRC, Lays Flower Basket at Friendship Tower
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Comrade Xi
Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of
China and president of the People's Republic of China, on a state visit to the
DPRK, laid a flower basket at the Friendship Tower on June 9.
Comrade Kim Jong Un, General
Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of
the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, together with his wife Ri Sol Ju
came to the Friendship Tower to greet Comrade Xi Jinping and his wife Peng
Liyuan.
Accompanying Comrade Xi Jinping were Cai
Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, member of the
Secretariat and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee,
Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau and director of the Office of the
Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee and minister of Foreign
Affairs, and other entourage members and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the
DPRK.
Present there were Kim Jae Ryong and Ri
Il Hwan, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretaries of
the WPK Central Committee, and other leading officials of the Party and the
government.
The guard of honor of the Korean
People's Army lined up in front of the Friendship Tower filled with the respect
for the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers, excellent sons and
daughters of the Chinese nation and true comrades-in-arms of the Korean people.
The national anthems of the PRC and the
DPRK were played.
A flower basket in the name of Comrade
Xi Jinping, general secretary of the C.C., CPC and president of the PRC, was
laid there.
Written on the ribbon of the flower
basket were letters reading "The martyrs of the Chinese People's
Volunteers will be immortal".
The top leaders of the two countries,
together with the participants, paid a silent tribute to the memory of the CPV
martyrs who displayed the matchless bravery and self-sacrificing spirit in the
Korean people's sacred war to repel the imperialists' armed invasion.
There took place a march-past of the KPA
guard of honor.
Comrade Xi Jinping looked round inside
of the tower, an immortal symbol of the DPRK-China friendship.
Comrade Kim Jong Un briefed
Comrade Xi Jinping on the historic data, photos and oil paintings showing the
brave CPV fighters who courageously made an entry into the Korean front in the
genuine internationalism and fraternity, fought bloody battles shoulder to
shoulder with the Korean people and rendered sincere aids to the post-war
rehabilitation and construction.
Turning over the leaves of the list of
fallen CPV fighters, Comrade Xi Jinping recollected them, who clearly
demonstrated the militant friendship and the spirit of comradely cooperation of
the peoples in the two countries, linked with the same destiny, and are still
alive in their mind as the noble icon of friendship.
Saying that the days when the peoples of
the two countries were in the same trench for battles, sharing life and death,
sweets and bitters, are recorded as an eternal event in history, a record that
can never be discolored and erased even after many years, the top leaders of
the two countries expressed the same opinion on the need to jointly preserve
and manage the memorial facilities dedicated to the fallen CPV martyrs well,
deepen education in the revolutionary tradition and ideology and morality among
the young people and carry forward the traditional DPRK-China friendship
generation after generation.

respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party
of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic
of Korea, received a message of thanks from Comrade Xi Jinping, general
secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and
president of the People's Republic of China, on June 9.

Jong Un,
I, on behalf of the Chinese party,
government and people and in the name of myself and my wife Prof. Peng Liyuan,
express the warmest greetings and the most heartfelt thanks to you, Comrade
General Secretary, and your wife Ri Sol Ju and to the Korean party, government
and people as regards the successful state visit to the DPRK.
You, Comrade General Secretary, made
sincere and detailed arrangements for the visit and the Korean party,
government and people splendidly and enthusiastically welcomed the Chinese
delegation.
This fully showed the deep friendship
between the two parties and two countries of China and the DPRK.
I and you, Comrade General Secretary,
made an in-depth exchange of views on the issues of mutual interest and
